Best Tender Loving Care Poems
When a Man Loves a Woman
A man who loves a woman in the way
a woman wants him to will love her true.
He’ll hold her close, and never will he stray.
But there is so much more this man will do!
He’ll build her up because her self-esteem
should matter, and a woman valued can,
in turn, fulfill her husband’s fondest dream.
How fortunate, indeed, is such a man!
When generous with kind words and his time,
the man who loves his woman heart and soul
will find himself enjoying life sublime
because he will have taken on the role
of not just a provider! He will give
his heart, and like the king of hearts he’ll live!
When a Woman Loves a Man
The woman who adores her man will be
his greatest fan; she will not criticize
his faults, and she will pledge fidelity,
for life with him is something she will prize.
Her tender love will be her greatest gift
that she can give to him, and she will show
appreciation. Always she will lift
him up so that the man she loves will know
beyond a doubt she always will be there.
When times get tough, she won’t give up on him.
Who doesn’t want some tender loving care,
especially when things are looking grim?
The woman standing by her man this way
will be his queen, and happy they will stay.

For Mark Massey's Two English Sonnets Poetry Contest
In my mother's eyes I see my hero
I know fear is far at bay
In her words I feel protection
In her smile I see my face
Because She has loved me first
before anybody else
She carried me till the ninth month
so very close to heart
She breathed life into my lungs
Held my hand within her palms
Showed me guidance in every way
Made me who I am today
In my mother's eyes I see my hero
I know fear is far at bay
In her words I feel protection
In her smile I see my face
Her arms are always open
so I can curl within
For her I'm always special
Without my need to win
Her soul ever a rainbow
in hues of humankind
For She carries no prejudice
amongst the black and white.
In my mother's eyes I see my hero
I know fear is far at bay
In her words I feel protection
In her smile I see my face
Our days , lunchbox of memories
filled with tender loving care
Past nights, eternal bookmarks
of her fingers playing gently with my hair.
I know one time I'll wake up
in a world of all alone
In the stars I'd have to find her
because mama won't be home.
In my mothers eyes I see my hero
knowing fear is far at bay
In her words I feel protection
In her smile I see my face.

When a woman is just a woman
........... her true self she shows
When she is honest with herself
............her confidence glows
When she reacts with expression
.........with all emotions combined
When you never have to question
.........repeatedly speaks her mind
When she gives her attention
...........shows tender loving care
When she shows her inner child
..........does everything with flair
When she voices her opinion
......... omits when incorrect
When she exposes her heart
..........treats all with respect
When she gives you her all
.........asks little in return
When her eyes are open wide
.........always ready to learn
When she has nothing to hide
......... her heart on her sleeve
When a woman is just a woman
...........her soul you will perceive

Rescued from the side of the road on a cold and rainy day
Thrown out like a piece of trash...a worn out throwaway
So I pick you up and cover you up and bring you home with me
And wonder why they can not see... the beauty that I see
I wipe away the icy rain that has hardened on your back
And deeply rub with linseed oil each and every little crack
And when you are as warm and dry as warm and dry can be
I remove the stain and blisters from your body carefully
And low and behold beneath that tattered surface there I find
The inner beauty... that is your soul ... akin to fine aged wine
Your broken leg has bonded well with nary a trace of scar
Now you stand so straight and proud ... a superior chair by far
A Duncan Fife brought back to life by tender loving care
A focal piece within my house for everyone to share
Where Miss Mew... herself a throwaway... sits proudly on this thrown
Among the other throwaways that make this house a home

I have to thank my sister for something years ago
It's written in this message that I think she ought to know
I have to thank my sister for everything she's done
To keep me in the family the time we lost our mom
I have to thank my sister each and every day
For never ever letting children's aid take me away
I have to thank my sister for taking care of me
She was my guardian angel when she didn't have to be
I have to thank my sister for the life she chose to share
For me her little sister with her tender loving care
I have to thank my sister and her loving husband too
For doing all the things for me they didn't have to do
I have to thank my sister until e-ter-ni-ty
I'm proud that she's my sister and in my family
I have to thank my sister before the teardrops start
I love Paulette my sister from the bottom of my heart
by Deborah Lynn Gale
Thank You Paulette & Bill
LOVE YOU BOTH ALWAYS
Sometimes, when I am alone
I go inside myself
and I get a little box
I keep upon a shelf.
My box is filled with memories,
sweet days that I once knew.
One of my greatest treasures
is the memory of you.
Time has begun to fade it
and has bent the corners in
yet when I gaze upon it,
it comes alive again.
I let it take me over
I ride it like a wave
feeling every inch of love
you once, so sweetly gave.
It fills my soul with pleasure
and helps me get away
from all the tribulations
that I must face each day.
Yet it was not always beautiful,
this memory I hold.
It use to only give me pain
and leave me feeling cold.
But so much time has passed away
and the pain has took its' leave
so now I may finally
enjoy instead of grieve.
Once it has embraced me
and filled me with its' wealth
I put it gently in my box
and place it on the shelf.
I'll always keep this precious jewel
with tender, loving care
so that when I need it,
it will be waiting there.

My Parent
The rules said “one parent not two”
Good for me as I only had you
No selection; no one to choose
Who is this parent; just follow the clues
Next rule; write something “profound”
Something good or something that makes you frown
This one was easy
Considering all you ever said was greasy
“You stupid _____”
This one was rich
“Go get the belt”
Not satisfied till there was a welt
The pain is still felt
How about “you swine”
Became a preference in time
Not “go to bed”
Followed by a blow to the head
So hard could have become brain dead
Your scars are still here
Your pain I still wear
Your mistakes I still bare
Your voice I still hear
Your secrets I now declare
Your presence I no longer fear
Your wrong doings I am aware
Your hate is replaced with tender loving care
Did you follow the clues
Who's this in reference to
Someone you want to be related to
Perhaps it’s someone you already do
This is my parent… I wish it were untrue!

PASSION OF LOVE
Red is the color of love
Red smacks of passion
Passion pumps through the veins
Passion froths with emotion
Emotion graces hugs and kisses
Emotion embraces with eyes
Eyes that see deep into your soul
Eyes that color your world
World so warm
World of grace
Grace of tender loving care
Grace so beautiful
Beautiful cornflower skies
Beautiful magenta sunsets
Sunsets where we hold hands
Sunsets that brim with surprise
Surprise with tinkling flutes
Surprise with signature rings
Rings of promise
Rings of lifetime
Lifetime of togetherness
Lifetime of yada
Yada constructed each day
Yada is to intimately know
Know as if drinking your soul
Know each inch of your flesh
Flesh from head to toe
Flesh that blushes full ******
****** of release
****** of euphoria
Euphoria that lingers
Euphoria that must be maintained
Maintained through good and bad
Maintained with ample breath
Breath of kisses
Breath through ups and downs
Downs draw us apart
Downs draw us closer
Closer to your heart
Closer to eternity
Eternity brings ultimate pleasure
Eternity from youth to old age
Age does not divide love
Age kindles what it preserves
Preserves like delectable fruit
Preserves eternal bond
Bond of Love
Bond of marriage

As if there is no one like I to match
Why is that?
I ask all the time where is that other hat?
The head to my ball and catch to my cap
A mind to protect head rounded grounded
When would a cross of paths guide the blind?
The blind sight that hides confined
Through the eyes that find the beauty in line with heart
Why is this? I ask all the time wondering if it will ever be
A mind like mine to have and converse all the time
Not just my own when I am alone struggling to write
Thinking yes thinking that monster thought creeping
Tender loving care is what I have always been seeking
The meaning a meaning to be called a purposeful life
Traveling my endless futures conceptual mind
A mind like no other I find is hard to compare
Share with me that time in mind yes share with me I say
Where ever they are I do ask each and everyday
That question no answer to myself as to why
A one why to my life arriving back to begin
The beginning to one a two three and four
When my minds value over heart is the fractional score
To denominate my numeral path inset with a dream
Meeting someone with a mindset like me
Oh the day of Christmas 2020!
The snow has for long, been pushed further into the year.
I shan't spill a single tear.
Christmas this year is beautiful that I in my prime of Twenty Three am so glad.
I am so glad that you could spend it with me, my wonderful.
You are my breath of fresh air, my tender kiss.
You are my only Christmas wish.
Your beautiful glossy dark hair.
Followed with a loving oh so, tender stare.
You were my Christmas past.
You are my Christmas present.
And you... You will be my Christmas future.
There is no hate on Christmas day.
Tender loving care, here and away.
I’m glad that I can spend it with you.
My heart beats fast when your air fills the room.
My eyes tear up at the sound of your beautiful voice.
My hands bloom for your radiant glow.
Because I know, you know.
What I want for Christmas this year.
When you take my heart
please hold it gently,
When you take my heart
treat it like your own.
When you take my heart
please keep it with you,
For my heart doesn’t
like to roam.
Whisper when you
speak about me,
Don’t let my heart hear
things it shouldn’t hear.
My heart was always
treated gently,
So treat my heart
with tender loving care.
Other people tried
to win my heart dear,
They tried to tell my heart
they loved me too.
But you know my heart wouldn’t listen,
For my heart wanted only you.
So when you take my heart “Please hold it gently”
When you take my heart
treat it like your own.
When you take my heart
please keep it with you,
For my heart couldn’t find a better home.
So when you take my heart please…..…hold it gently.

“Poetry is one way to escape, without leaving home.”
-Poet
Home is made with tender loving care,
A broad beaming smile and a tear here or there.
It’s a treasure chest that holds secrets kept secure.
To family and friends there’s a revolving door.
Loving people where conversation is a must.
Built with encouragement, loyalty and trust.
Home isn’t really a place, it’s more of a feeling.
It’s nice to be there if you are in need of healing.
It’s the smell of good cooking, and a sense of pride.
Shelter from rain and warmth when its cold outside.
When guests arrive, don’t mind the weather,
All will be good because we are now together.
Whether it’s a mansion or a home quite plain,
It’s the comfort of your own pillow to be home again.
It’s the keeper of memories over the years.
Home reflects fun and laughter to dispel any fears.
Adventures lead you to magic and it’s fun to roam.
Your heart tells you when it’s time to come home.
Have you ever noticed when looking for a place to stay,
You choose a place that is most like home, when away.
Its fine to have ambition and chase your dreams,
But always know the way home, if it isn't what it seems
When young we want to leave, a wanderlust attack.
We grow old, it’s our home, we just want to get back.
Each day I awaken, excited by the prospect of the day
Why would I want to feel, any other way
I made commitments many years ago to treat myself, with tender loving care
How I follow this commitment, this is what I'll share
God created nature which includes the rising sun
In that sunlight every morning, I'm running, really so much fun
Over years I've learnt a skill so I can make the people laugh
And when I leave this planet please record it, on my epitaph
Barefoot is how i travel, since the first day of my birth
Connect to positive energies which arise from mother earth
Tibetan rites, a ritual that's practised every day
Reverses ageing process so I can forever play
And when I sit to dine, I select the very best
Organic raw non poisoned fare, for the soul, I mindfully invest
Play guitar with harmonica and also like to sing
Connects left right brain hemispheres. always makes me zing
Mentally, emotionally and physically, I'm always on a high
If you'd like to get more tips, I'm always waiting, I'll be on standby
