One Why

As if there is no one like I to match
Why is that?
I ask all the time where is that other hat?
The head to my ball and catch to my cap

A mind to protect head rounded grounded
When would a cross of paths guide the blind?
The blind sight that hides confined
Through the eyes that find the beauty in line with heart

Why is this? I ask all the time wondering if it will ever be
A mind like mine to have and converse all the time
Not just my own when I am alone struggling to write
Thinking yes thinking that monster thought creeping

Tender loving care is what I have always been seeking
The meaning a meaning to be called a purposeful life
Traveling my endless futures conceptual mind
A mind like no other I find is hard to compare

Share with me that time in mind yes share with me I say
Where ever they are I do ask each and everyday
That question no answer to myself as to why
A one why to my life arriving back to begin

The beginning to one a two three and four
When my minds value over heart is the fractional score
To denominate my numeral path inset with a dream
Meeting someone with a mindset like me

Sensational poetry, Kristina! Such depth of thought/simplicity of expression ... your mind moves in unique flight paths. A special landing spot awaits, just keep the faith, baby. Faith, your spiritual fuel, will lead you to your beloved final destination. Your opening stanza rocks! Outstanding poem of keen, self-awareness insight. An instant fave for sure. Star bright write. Love and smiles always.

Thank you for this compliment filled comment. Finding my different writing landing spots are becoming more exciting as I discover the many unique ways I view life and write. My faith to continue this journey towards more expressivon through poetry fluctuates. However I stay positive that each day is new and better than the last. XO

You bring up an excellent question Kristina. How do you find two minds that can think as one. Maybe true love is the answer you are looking for but that only brings up more questions. I still think this is wonderful and creative poem. I really enjoy it.

I thank you James for your comment. Glad you took the time to read and express the creative question within. To truly find love would mean to find someone who actually knows how to accept change and move with instead of against. Hope you are having a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday.

Wonderous thoughts of questions we all ask ourselves until their one true love comes to share your space with equal thoughts. I love the way you used baseball to compare your poem to your thoughts. Good write Hugs Eve ~`*

The beginning of this poem did dive into my athletic mind. Thank you for the acknowledgement with that analogy. Since it was a large part of my youth. Always enjoy a comment from you Eve. I pray you have had an excellent Thanksgiving. XO

One day there will be a time when you meet someone with the same mindset as you, its very rare though and so many go through their whole life not meeting them... Excellent emotive write...

Will there truly be I wonder? Only since it is the company we keep as well whom we are able to surround ourselves with that allows us an opportunity to find that common mind. I do not think in life, the real, will I find it. However I have stopped looking so who knows right? Appreciate the comment.

Nicely written, Kristina. I ponder a lot myself; I suppose most good poets do. Have a good day. John

Appreciate the comment John. I am still new to keeping up with my poetic mind. Yet I am back to say Thanks for the time taken to read. Even if I have taken some time off to share. Hope you have had a wonderful day of giving thanks! :-)

Thank you for comment on the similar mind. Glad you loved it since this was written after a two day writers block is what I will call the time before this poem. :-)
