Best Tediously Poems

Tediously bored, Sir Drake
Prolonged afternoon of tea and cakes
Jam coats his chin with gooey paste
A beard of crumbs hangs from his face
His manner somewhat hard to grasp
Small fingers smother giddy laughs.
.
To sup he’d need a tuning fork
to confound the smacks from lamb and pork.
Lanky strands of cabbage slaw.
Gravy splashes grease his jaw
Pastries flurry dandruff flakes
A grubby mess, grandiose Sir Drake

Theodore Aka Teddy Bear
With soggy paws and matted hair
Needs a scrub from his stout chin
to the furry spats about his shins.
Carried off by loving arms
A bath restores his stately charm.

Proud To Be a Birdbrain

As I listen to the lark’s surreal melody to her mate.
I wonder does she ever feel there’s too much on her plate?

Ever beside him juggling, tediously feathering the nest,
in her discomfort struggling, incubating without rest.

I wonder if in her daydreams does she laze as her mind lingers
in bygone days pursued by teams, of young and gallant singers?

Or does she occupy her days with tending her small brood
not entertaining winsome ways as gaping nibs crave food?

Does he while out a’gathering, squirming tidbits for their young,
ever give way to lathering ‘cause his work is never done?

Does his keen eye ever wander over lighter creamy breasts
allowing himself to ponder his days of youthful quests,

or does his steadfast honor seek but to gather and bring home
supper for each tiny beak never thinking once to roam?

As I hear the song bird warble, with expectancy to her mate
I’m thankful for each morsel placed in love upon my plate.

And listening to the lark refrain his bride’s devoted call,
I find being called a birdbrain the best compliment of all.

Premium Member Tediously Undignified

You cannot take from me
that which I have yet to discover
Although I walk upon a crumbling wall
it is you who fortified my ignorance
Witness my strength grow exponentially
as I venture further beyond your reach
All that you are has become tedious
I have discovered my own significance
My indifference somehow diminishes you
and your response is less than dignified

Absolute is her adorable attitude,
blessed and bestowed with a burning benignity,
city girl caught within life’s calamitousness,
darling to all that dare dote upon her. Naked!

Economize, be efficient, enthuse she must,
Fight! For her felicity. Feel! For those whom fall,
groping gouging with a grotesque gravitation,
hold on to her hospitable habitation!

Indurate through incest! Injured through inurement,
justice she seeks, a juvenile Judy no more,
kicked by society, knackered by its keepers,
laminated personalities lost in love!

Morning time! Brings the sunlight, the mist the misery,
Nymph nurtured by noble, just to serve motley men,
Org*sm Cried off, just an opaque memory,
primate pants, within the woodland glen!

Quaint in monthly quarantine, desire still to quell,
rebellious rivals, rustic, but youth on side,
sanctimonious salutations satisfy,
the test for technique, tediously still apply!

Unable to command usage. “Utensil spent”
Valuation decreasing via vulgar gent,
wise mind, weary body responds to the wanker,
xquisite flame soon xtinguish by the banker!

Yet she that lived in yonder past, youthfulness yielded,
zero hour approaches. “Erotic zone no more!”

because of censorships some words had to be removed or changed.

Fecklessly Daliesque

Likes to Dali herself up whilst reading,
assumes abstract designs will enhance
the benignly inartistic life story she's writ,
can scarcely sit through her own tediously
scripted fecklessly poetical verses moreover
embittered embellishments 'tween the blank
spaces of her once upon a failed phantasma

True Cynicism

Often I humor at things I read
I am growing exceedingly cold
Maybe it's not at all in me but
Their words both young and old

In a search for any kind of reason
We go afar and many times astray
Can I be now so tediously cynical
Their ideas don’t even near gray

There motivation prolly attention
What inspires them in this quest
An endeavor for true originality
Funny, most assuredly I now jest

Who reflects on the truth inside
The only things I know are real
Why do I think I get to decide
What is writing, if not to reveal

Esse

[I work at an office,
with a fixed salary
to feed a family:
without a denial to hardwork
I work tediously
my little ones attend school routinely,
We solely wish necessities
neither comforts nor luxuries].

Dear me! I desire if it was true
but fellow humankind treat us erroneously.
It's arctic outside.
we wander the streets in austerity,
in rags; all cold and hungry
I implore the privileged for aid
but all futile,
The men of wealth treat us indifferently.

Now my words of present describe my past,
no more cold or hungry we are;
hostility of mankind is yet more painful
than slow death to starvation,
My family and I are long gone by
Oh mankind! a little help would have sufficed.

The Informed Voter

Oxymoron of the day: Politically Correct

“Hi, I’m Carl Palmer and I approve of this poem.”

The Informed Voter

Donald Trump called, knew my name,
called me Carl, left a message, I wasn’t home.
Hillary Clinton called, knew my name, called
me Carl, left a message, I wasn’t home, darn.

Excited that so many candidates want my vote
who sent me mail, filled my box, I read it all.
Thrilled my yard is decorated with free signs
from both democrat and that other party as well.

Befuddled am I by the newspaper articles and letters
to the editor changing my mind over and again,
confused by the television ad contradicting the
commercial just aired by the opposing opponent.

Tediously taking notes while listening to talk radio
refuting facts from previous pundits interrupted
by my ever ringing doorbell announcing another
concerned citizen soliciting suggested suffrage.

Today is Monday, I still don’t know how I’ll vote,
who best represents my interests, cares about me.
I’m just thankful that tomorrow it’ll all be over
at least until Wednesday when the recounts begin.

Yes, That's Life

Very challenging,
And confusing,
Yet astonishing
It's kind of amusing!

Always persueing,
and working
Very tediously,
And seriously.

For everyone,
The goal is common
Everyone will be relieved'
Once achieved.

You Sat Inside There, Said Nothing But Stare

Standing under the sun and looking into the days
Blood is boiling in my veins as time quietly sways
Catching the breeze blown with fresh, grassy smell
Grinding the past, as the clouds treacherously stay

You sat inside there, said nothing but stare
Bracelet on the ankle, which furiously glared
This cave, where our promise was made
Left me alone, and gone on your own crusade.

That tree is still standing tediously today
Broken dreams never have reasons to sway
Shattered memories and screams, still lingering
In summer nights, they give me winter shivering

Standing under the clouds and look into these days
Cold blood is boiling in my veins as time quietly sways
Catching the breeze blown with wet, slurry smell
Looking at the tree which shatters young dreams

Grinding the past, as the clouds treacherously stay

A Robbed Scholar

"Pack the chairs,no souls will be entertained here",
Politics is stealing the future of scholars,
The faith is rather picking blemishes from religious pillars,
Can't make it plain to them of my changed mind,
Grew up along the coast,
Education wasn't a key boast,
Chasing money and abiding to words from our illiterate parents,
"Hey,...if you refuse to go fishing,no food for you today",fear really got itself filled us with adherents,
The punishment comes always with fatality,
What is known to be risky,we see it to be easy,
Trained with marshal laws,...and it's the powerful canes form masters in the halls,
Privileged men went ahead to acquire knowledge, because they had all it carried,
Knew what is meant by a treasure buried,
Fought tediously to overthrow the whiteman ruling over their integrity,
When nothing was induced much into us,eyes were opened to plenty,
Disappeared from home to where no man ever had an idea about,
Saved by a richman but lonely hunter mouse ,
Impacted into me in-depth understanding,
Showed me the realities of life;formal education without a payment,
"God bless his hidden soul",
Returned after so many years,
"Life is now precious and exerting greatness of me,
Society wasn't able to exercise recognition of who I am,
But yet still,I found my childhood friends fighting for success with grey hair",he noted well,
Expression on their faces proves their lost in the middle of nowhere,
Hailing his superiority among them,he was appointed as the chief advisors brain,
So many opportunities he gained,
His life was a breakthrough to the land he was born to cater,
He is a refined gold within a polluted water,
Inculcated intelligence into his fellow people scoop,
Few took it wholeheartedly;they had eyes for pride so they've made it in a bloom,
Politics practically went about chewing the learned knowledge as strict,
Coping with internal and external institutions,he raised a fine district,
But,his heart never desired for a truth;
What were deceptions to uproot?
Helmet of glory,
Passion for God plays the background of his officialdom,
Only blink of eyes taking a yawn, religion stole his referendum.

Bitterness

Bitterness

She secluded in her room to relish her ritual
A bracing cup of tea she concocted with the little available
Emitted an audible sigh routinely abysmal
Sank into elongate meditation,nothing abnormal

The ethical doddering lady had long been achingly critical
Of our unequivocal iniquity and detestable
Of societal homosexual unions categorical
Carnage on behalf of God intolerable

The over-the-hill lady once,to meet her approval
Bid her relatives to benefit her corpse a decent burial
Abstain from grieving and weeping on her funeral
Rather deplore their destiny tediously controversial

She couldn't bemoan a life where survival
Echoes with betrayal, bribery and pronounced scandals.
