Lamet

Lamet!

is what she hears first
him, screaming her second name
as he descends upon her
no time to process
gravity
a thud, tearing her core to shavings
Maiweeeee! She is puzzled.

His baritone dropping the 'n'
agitation
a wooden scrabble.
Nothing is left between her
and Pee, not a grain
all’s crushed
smothering their screams
interlocking their groans.

He is a pawn, no saphead
giving it to her, a pounding
her splinters
putting him on like a glove
a blood-wood
fragments of his body all over her.

She, a Mortal
(he notes the ‘r’ replacement)
implodes in silence, his pain.
She is deep
no winnowing basket
Her pleas chaff going with the wind
consummating with eyes
but she, too dry to go gunky.

Left to recline in the tree shade, heaves
silent sighs among groundnut sheaves
“You know I l-o-v-e you,”
“Yet it spells p-a-i-n, right?”
“We are just pieces of a g-a-m-e dear,”
he sighs rolling onto his back.

Premium Member Tearing Down the Walls

Armies build great Walls
Children with smiles make then all fall

Embracing our children
We shall see love never war

When we mix like pink cocktails
We will dance to all shores

Our children will laugh, smile and trance
We have only to follow and give love a chance

Youth is happiness all in the mind
It belongs to us all

Yes all of mankind

Seen Tearing Eyes

First day in school life
                                           sorrow blue innocent face
                                               one silent next cries

                                                Mom was in tension
sister took care at that time
                                               seen tearing eyes

Premium Member They'Re Tearing Down Saint Ann's

They're tearing down Saint Ann's
As I shed a nostalgic tear
Part of my childhood gone
Where I spent my sophomore year
It was September of sixty one
Our very first week of class
It was only a short walk from school
To the Church where we attended Mass
Coal region was different then
We smoked on the morning ride
Each town held something special
A sense of purpose, a sense of pride
Saint Ann's dances on a Sunday night
Quarter admission seven to ten
Jesse Belvin "Goodnight My Love"
Hitch a ride home back then
Basketball game downstairs at lunch
Or play horsie against the wall
Sneak a cigarette in the boys room
Passing notes in the hall.
My Place was the local hangout
Jukebox in the back
Sometimes playing match pack football
No one keeping track
Now the stained glass windows are gone
And tears flow like falling rain
Soon they'll raze the building
Only memories will remain
They're tearing down Saint Ann's
Feel a longing in my soul
They're tearing down Saint Ann's
As progress takes its toll.

Tearing Rock--Niobe's Grief

Seven is the great number
two times seven is even greater,
Niobe lost all fourteen.

Niobe once was a proud woman
not because she was an Olympian
nor for her beauty excelling to Leto.

Although Niobe was queen of Thebes
the mighty city-state Amphion rules,
she forgot she was a mortal.

Niobe saw the crowd gathering
to honor goddess Leto and her only two offspring,
she irritated and dispensed them with anger.

Atop Mount Cynthus, the mortified goddess
spoke her indignation to her children nevertheless,
and they darted through air on chariot.

When their chariot alighted on the city’s gateway
Apollo drew a bow to drive Niobe’s sons away
to the darkness where Hades reigns.

Each time an arrow pierced Niobe’s son
the mother cried out with great sorrow
in the pool of blood her sons shed.

When Niobe’s heartbreaking grief was overwhelmed with anguish
the mortal’s curse went against the immortal goddess for death wish,
in not of extended miserable life, but for graves where sons lie.

However, Niobe’s death wish fell upon her daughters instead,
she cried, “spare me one, and death be mine to cease this heart’s dread,”
before her appeal ended alas, the last one sank to the earth lifeless.

For Niobe buried all her proud children
in her bosom without a tomb stone,
the heap of her condensed grief became a mass of rock,
the great stone.

The stone is, though, totally lifeless
her never-ending grief well up as renewed tears,
and her tears will continuously flow to the ocean
until the day Cynthian Mountain would erupt to become ashes.

Tearing Half Mast Flag, 2 of 2

To honor the Mother America, our men and women in uniform
upheld our nation’s colors still hanging from the ruined eagle’s nest,
though it is torn to shreds, with renewed resolution for uncertain future to come.

And everyone dug the ruins to remove the mountains of debris;
some died while trying to help others, some injured while searching
for a piece of life that may still be there in the terrible toll of lives lost,
still yet, some with earnest prayer while watching TV screen.

It is the time for us all Americans, to unite under one same nation’s flag,
more than ever, it is the time to reassure and to proudly display our oneness under one same nation’s flag to the world, though we are a nation of all different races, cultures and of diversity. And now is the time to display our determination,
that we, as the peace loving people of America, will not tolerate the killing of innocent lives, which we, as the people of one great sovereign state U.S.A.
will not overlook what terrorists did to this nation.

No matter where those inhumane evildoers ensconce themselves,
we will go after them, and punish them in the name of justice.
We will return our anger on them, in the name of innocent spirits departed from us, at the time of collapse of the towers, at the time when eagle injured its wings.

We must pray earnestly however, before take up our arms.
we must give a deep thought however, before vengeance
takes its place.

Make sure that our castigation against atrocious evildoers
is not for where do they live or come from, what they do to earn
their honest living, how they look or dress, how they speak or greet one another, or even how they worship their God, but because of their evil desire and what they did to our innocent lives.

Listen! those faceless cowardly terrorists,
this beautiful country will remain on this earth forever,
in the unity of people from every corner of the world
with all different cultural backgrounds.
And with the vision that of impartiality for all
and indivisibility under one same flag, the Star-Spangled Banner.
And prosper as ever by everyone doing their fair share as a proud citizen
of this great nation, the U.S.A.

Rainy Weather

All the things he put you through but you still trust him
You want his image to be bright, it sits dark and grim.
You start to ask yourself if what he did was your fault
All the dark memories he caused stored - locked in a vault
Hidden from society, hidden from yourself
You get so mad, so frustrated, so worked up
All your emotion stirring like tea in a cup.
Till one day you just lose it all
Tearing up throwing what you own against the wall.
You have lost yourself in a forest of emotion
You wonder if there is a cure, maybe a secret potion.
All hope gone you stare at the wall in silence
Was all the pain worth the little bit of violence
You don't know what is real or what is fake
Praying for god if he can give it one more take
wanna make things right but know they can't get better
All you have left to do is enjoy the rainy weather.

Tearing At My Skin

For my friend Dylan R.

This sin
Is crawling
Under my skin
I try to take control
But this is slowly
Killing my soul
My past haunts
Haunts every part of me
I always try to hide it
But you always bring it out
For everyone to see

Love is so hard to see
And I cry with every single plea
When trust seems to walk away
The people I love seem so far away

I try to turn away from this place
Cause all I see is hate
Hope seems so far out of reach
Still everyone seems to preach
Is there a way out of this
Was this a poison kiss
This addiction is killing me
Death is all I see
Tearing at my skin
Lost in this sin
Please take me out
I’m drowning in doubt

Love is so hard to see
And I cry with every single plea
When trust seems to walk away
The people I love seem so far away

Please don’t remind me of my past
My guilt will always last
I’ve shot myself in the back
Perfection will always lack
I need a God that will save me
White as snow
He has forgiven me

Love is so hard to see
And I cry with every single plea
When trust seems to walk away
The people I love seem so far away

This Is Tearing Me Apart.

This is breaking me down,
Piece by piece
It’s hurting
Bleeding
Crying

I can’t stop the pain
Only you can.
But you’re not here for me anymore
You’re gone

It's Tearing Me Apart

I could feel the tears rolling down my eye,
It's Almost like I can hear my heart cry.
I could still feel the touch of your lips,
From the first time we had kissed.

Now am down on my knees,
And I can't describe how messed up It feels.
Am seeing you with this other girl,
Your teling everyone she's your world.

Please take the dagger out of my heart,
It's tearing me apart.
Did I ever mean anything to you,
Was your Love even true.

They used to say love is a token,
But you Just left me heart broken.
Somebody please help me,
How could this be.

So take the dagger out of my heart,
It's tearing me apart.
End the heart ache and pain,
It's driving me insane.

Am stuck with your memories,
Tell me what is It going to be.
Baby please,
Take me out of my misery.

Tearing Apart

Torn from the thoughts of yesterday
Torn from everything i thought I loved
Torn from a love that I thought was true
Sealed shut with lonely, scattered, depressed fears
Sewed up with the needles and threads
Made up of confusion, hunger, lost, and pain
Scared of new love and thoughts
Moving rapidly into my path of nothingness
I want to feel again
I want to feel real love
I want to feel the closeness
That's the hunger of my heart
But who am I to expect this
From someone whose heart's been harmed
I feel the sadness that lurks there
You remind me everyday
The more I ask of you
Is not my place
But I will hold on
No matter how badly the stones of sadness hit
I will resist
No matter how shattered my heart gets
I will wait
For you to let me in
Love you with the fullness of my heart
And I will not hate

Tearing Me Apart

I found a piece of my heart
That was'nt there before
You took it and ripped it to the core
You showed me what love feels like
You told me you are mine
You make a world turn upside down
You make life fall to the ground
You take my love
And make me feel
Like i was ment to be in hell
This isnt heaven not even close
But its my love for you that is loss

Tearing the Satin Wings

During everyday,
at a time so familiar and relative
the forbidden fruit wishes to be eaten.

So then will teeth be sunken into it's luster?
and savor its sweet, soft allure,
and let its presence inside turn and twist the stomach.

Will it resist?
clawing out it's eyes and drowning it's ears
so as not to let influence become the falling.

can it resist?
and remain along this line of crosses
with daggers in the heart and needles in the eyes.

and to what would that bring,
but a crooked smile,
and an awkward stare.

demons scream a name in the ear,
like nails to a chalkboard
a screech that no other can hear.

And with the struggles of fear
the blood will smear
and with it a tear.

Premium Member Tearing Down the Wall

It's the only object that stands in our way.
We can always tear it down any day.
There need not be something here that will divide.
To remove it, we can simply decide.
Without the wall, we can come together.
Join me in all types of weather.
If there be rain, or there be sun,
we can always come together and be one.

Tearing Away My Flesh

tearing away my flesh
watching my bones splinter away
wondering why i'm dying
dying because of the past
gouging out my eyes
so i can't see anymore

feeling death standing by me
walking alone in the dark
crying about the past
woundering how it found me
hearing the bloodhounds bark
bark so silent but deadly

seeing the past
the past for what it is
watching my family fall away
fall away from me
fall away from you
watching everything dissappear

while my heart stops
waiting to die
watching my flesh crumble
crumble in my hands like dust
alone in the dark

alone in my pain
alone in the darkness
waiting to die here alone
alone in the dark
waiting to die
