Ode To a Mother

Poetic Ode to Mother

In the realm of love, she reigns supreme,
A guiding light, a nurturing dream.
With tender touch and caring embrace,
She weaves a tapestry of love and grace.

Her voice, a melody that soothes the soul,
A lullaby that makes the heart feel whole.
Through every triumph and each despair,
She's the anchor, always present, always there.

In her eyes, the wisdom of ages past,
A gentle strength that forever will last.
She plants the seeds of dreams in our hearts,
Encouraging us to embrace our own parts.

Her touch, a balm that heals all wounds,
She carries us through life's tumultuous tunes.
With gentle hands, she wipes away our tears,
And whispers words that quell our deepest fears.

Her love, a river that knows no end,
An eternal flame that will always ascend.
She sacrifices, she gives without cease,
Her love for us will never decrease.

In her embrace, we find solace and peace,
A sanctuary where all worries cease.
She nurtures, she molds, she shapes our souls,
Her love, a treasure that forever unfolds.

She teaches us lessons of kindness and care,
To love and to give, to always be aware.
Her heart, a haven of boundless affection,
A source of unwavering protection.

Her laughter, a melody that fills the air,
A symphony of joy beyond compare.
Her smile, a beacon that lights up the night,
Guiding us through darkness with its radiant light.

Her presence, a gift that words can't convey,
A love that grows stronger with each passing day.
In her arms, we find comfort and rest,
A sanctuary where we are truly blessed.

She is a warrior, brave and strong,
A pillar of resilience, all life long.
Her love is fierce, yet gentle and kind,
A sanctuary for our hearts and mind.

Her name is etched upon our very core,
A bond unbreakable, forevermore.
For she is the embodiment of love's embrace,
Our precious mother, full of grace.

So let us cherish her, honor her each day,
For her love is a gift that won't fade away.
In our hearts, her love will forever bloom,
Our mother, our rock, our eternal room.

Premium Member What Life Teaches

Life teaches many a valuable truth,
That makes our existence one of worth.

Graying and growing old is no curse,
As experience directs life’s course.

See life as a mysterious puzzle,
And death as an inexorable struggle.

Know, hatred burns life like fire,
And wickedness turns it into mire.

On Earth, forgiveness bonds hearts
But revenge, sure, every bond thwarts

Even the guilty falls prostrate,
Before those willing to commiserate.

Know, a true friend has no deceit,
And a truly learned has no conceit.

If jealousy is an acid which erodes,
Generosity is a fuel that reloads.

If inactivity is akin to death,
Creativity is vital as breath.

If perseverance conquers mountains
Laziness dries up fountains.

While pride leads a man to his fall
Humility takes him closer to his goal.

While Honesty leads him to salvation
Deceit drives him to damnation.

Patience is an inexhaustible well,
And perversion, a sure road to hell.

Know, those who long for the crown,
Should also be torn by the thorn.

While love of God takes us to eternity,
Love of man leads us to fraternity.

With such priceless tips learned in bits,
Let us light up our life in glowing glitz.

May we bury our past with all its blues,
As each morn of hope brightly blooms!

Knowing Life Teaches Us

As I drift through all the loneliness
That seems to harness itself to the day
We put ourselves out there in hopes we sway
A love that will portray the kind of girl
That makes all my loneliness slip away

One who isn't afraid of her feelings on display
To find a love worthy of a man who likes to pray
Who would never play a girl in any dirty way
A woman who wants to be a wife that holds the key
To cast her love shadow all around thee
That frees all the loneliness as far as I can see

If God would have intended for us to be alone
Then he wouldn't have sewn
All this love that has grown up inside of me
Life is full of blessings that we need to foresee
To have all these feelings that have come to be
From the gravity that has turned up the degree

When we both seek to reach for the love we agree
Peaks all the emotions that we both breath
We will succeed in what love truly needs
A man and a woman living the golden opportunity
That tweaks our imagination
When we build such a strong foundation

Knowing that life teaches us
We are not designed to be alone
Not now not ever as far as we can roam
When everything with you sets the right tone
That leads to us never living alone
With a love like ours
We can call our very own

A Three-Year Old Teaches Joy

A Three-Year Old Teaches Joy

The singers start their festive, upbeat song, words ringing out.
Their jubilant voices fall upon my restless waiting ears.
Hearing her grandmother's voice her little face beams.
Her bright crisp spring dress makes my eyes smile.
Every spirit starts to respond and stir to the tune.
Echoing lightly off the walls, I can almost see the sounds.
Radiant locks of blond curls bounce as she leaps from her mother's arms.
Roiling river currents of thought calm as my soul watches her.
Everyone watches as she dances up and down the center aisle.
Effortlessly, her legs carry her smoothly as my eyes follow her.
She holds her arms up like a little ballerina, a broad smile covering her face.
She leaps lightly her beautiful dress flowing around her.
Age filled hands reach out; she places her little flawless hands in theirs.
As I watch her spin beneath those connecting hands, my eyes moisten.

Premium Member Failure Teaches Success

His result slip showed he had failed
Friends celebrated their success
But his parents and some he shamed
Had pinned on him their hopes and focus

His Dad said "For negligence, it's the price
Your direliction is hard to repair
So change your style to do better in life"
And he sat like a mountain in despair

Son forgot laxity and his ugly past
And set himself to make it remember
Reformed for next exam and fixed fast
"Failure teaches success," he would utter

No more sorrow and shame he'd bear
No faltering, no fall but bright future
Bad experience lessoned him to dare
And avoid loss of face through failure

He abandonned excess video games
And concentrated in his text books
Made alterations to feed his study aims
And set Success like bait on his hooks

His consistent work bought him success
The year ended with earned love and praise
His negligence was just like an abcess
That of failure was just his life's phase

He Still Teaches

Think of the last time…you made a mistake? Someone told you not to do it, yet you did it anyway. He still teaches…were just not listening. Remember, as you jumped from that plane? You thought you heard a voice say, “Don’t do it” As your shoot tore open just feet from the ground. He still teaches…were just not listening. That day you stole those clothes from the store, your mother once told you, “Don’t take what’s not yours.” He is still teaching…your just not listening. You spent all your money and the rent is past due, you know what they say, “A fool spends for the day, and the wise man then receives it and then invests it for the future.” When God sends people and silent whispers in the wind to teach you about life, receive his words and what he has been teaching…because God has not stop teaching. But we have stopped listening for Gods never changing words. He does still teach, you just need to learn to decipher his words.

God Teaches His Children

God Teaches His Children

We are traveling on His path,
Have the Laws that we can live by,
As we become ourselves,
As our past is something to say good bye to.

God teaches His children ,
Our father's hell did go by,
God will feed them with His words
God is the one we pick, the one will stay with.

Everybody ask us why, we told them, They would cry,
So they look to God and sigh, now they know He loves them.

We are all of tender years,
We can't know the fears that our fathers went through,
So please help them with your faith,
Yes they seek the truth before their time comes.

Oh can we hear or do we really care,
Oh can't we see they all must be free to,
God will teach His children how to believe.
How make a world we can live in together.

Life Teaches

Life Teaches.

In remorse,I can feel the spasms,
of the uncouth experience,
this world has cast on me.
These unstiched patches have
drawn me to more kindness.
Spontaneously, words drop like milk and honey,
so that this world is a sweeter place to live in.

Quote Prompt- "How is it so easy to be kind to people"? he asked....Milk and honey dripped from my lips and I answered"cause people have not been kind to me..."-Rupi Kaur.

Living Life Teaches Me New Realities

Living life teaches me new realities,
sometimes all gets dark and unclear;
in this labyrinth I get lost and fear
that what I've built will surely crumble,
but starting over gives no guarantee,
no lasting hope to others or me;
how strong is the need to save all,
'though wisdom points to alternatives!

What are the secrets of the illuminati?
They won't share them with anyone;
be a part of them and wealth is yours...
have you noticed how powerful they are?
Humble folks are banned from riches,
and this reality forces many into poverty...
I'll take any opportunity before it's gone;
may my fortunes amass to end despair!

A Crisis of Faith Teaches You God Is Never Late

[Written 5 February 2003]

When you pass through a Crisis of faith
God will show you His riches through Christ
Death to oneself is linked to your situation

Confusion can bring an intrusion of truth into your life
So the protection against disorder
Can establish a border and
Can change the order of the day
The key is to pray and
Lay yourself down before the Lord!
Then, soon you know that to pass
Through a trial is to expand your territory!
The defense of God is the essence of Love!

A session of pain
Teaches you to maintain and
A crisis of faith will
Teach you that God is never late!
As a result, you will see the wonderful attributes of Jesus!

Life Teaches

Sometimes life shakes our belief's foundations,
testing our faith's strength in times of trouble.
Our human core easily deflates,
and we let hope pop like a bubble.

But these misunderstood trials mold our souls,
creating wisdom from human mistakes.
Our blind minds often become bitter
because we fail to see the treasures a heartache makes.

We judge ourselves upon our own failures,
looking at yesterday instead of tomorrow.
So we waste our lives living in the past,
only to miss the cleansing bath of today's sorrow.

Life teaches us by letting us choose,
allowing the consequences to slap our faces.
But we forget these lessons we learn,
until death forces us to leave our earthly places.

Premium Member The Headless Horseman Teaches Again

A cold, creepy Halloween night.
What Katrina found gave her a fright.
It was the head of Ichabod Crane-
Of headless horseman fame.
She waited for him to ride by.
Closed her eyes and held his head way up high.
The next day Crane was back teaching his class.
As if 230 years never passed.

Killing With An Epigram

If a man can't educate his child
He teaches the same to fight!
It may as well grow up to be wild
And things may still turn out right!
