‘neath the halo of a full moon
Wind Talker gives music to the night
flute carved from a fallen tree

he plays to the dwindling forest
trees that remain and creatures losing habitat
softly the melody resonates through the woods

Wind Talker recalls stories handed down
tribal legacies of prosperity, joy
an era when animals were protected and revered

glory days of spiritual people
proud Native Americans who honored their culture
cast away even as treaties were signed

so much has been lost
so much

clad in soft skins
Wind Talker wishes for what might have been
if settlers had never made their way to his land

yes, the land is his
it always will be; this he knows
his heart’s sadness emanates from Wind Talker’s flute

development is approaching, encroaching
more houses, more highways
fewer trees, less land for animals to roam freely

resignation sets in
no way to reclaim the past
ceremonial drums fade in the distance

so much has been lost
so much

I want to
I really do
I want to walk the walk
But I have a limp
Hobbled by all the things I think
There seems to be more than one missing link
On the beach of life, I try stepping softly but still I sink

I want to
I really do
I want to talk the talk
But I'm afraid, fifty shades of grey times two
How do I know if what I believe is true?
Will it be evidenced by the things I do?
Or in the end will I be influenced by you?

Walking and talking
It's just not enough
I need to relinquish all my inner stuff
Allowing myself to be weak instead of tough
For if God works in mysterious ways
Everything leads to the end of days
So instead of walking and talking my hands I'll raise
With voice and heart I will give God praise

If I allow Jesus to love me
He will guide my walk
He will permeate my heart and the way I talk
My inner softness he will surely unlock
His words not mine will become my rock
it's not about doing
It's more about being
His way, is the way of helping and seeing
By letting Him lead, it will be more freeing
The more I witness the more I'll be believing
Walking and talking but more importantly listening!

His instructor said he must wear tights
Most essential in these sorts of flights
Fred said take them away
Folks would think I was gay
The truth is that Fred’s scared of heights

Fred fibbed that he’d been a wing walker
A falsehood, this sure was a corker
His relations soon found
He did not leave the ground
It’s a good job he’s a fast talker!

Offensive Talker

Mouthy, offensive
Talking rudely out of turn
Learning deficits

Classroom victims-child
Awaiting salvation, and
Great education!

I wrote this for my son, who goes to school and got punished because of the groups wrongly
talking too much, he felt it wasn't fair. I have been there too.

I watch her lipstick mouth; it never stops
its movement as she prattles on and on.
And now another famous name she drops,
her daddy’s latest client, known as John
by only his close friends! She widely grins
while spilling secrets all about that guy.
I swear the Gossip Girls had fewer sins
than Pretty Talker. How she loves to lie!
I catch her telling half-truths all the time,
yet all the kids are mesmerized by her.
To me, her pretty mouth seems filled with grime
each time I hear it spew a racial slur.
She has a straw between white teeth. A Coke
She’s sipping now. Oh, how I wish she’d choke!

“’til Christmas? Just two shopping days
With New Year a few more away

Considering (what you call) merchant ads -
    manipulation
With Big Dave there still exists a good will
    Sensation

Deck the rooms with Dave’s fine ‘threesome’
    fa-la-la-la-laa-re-mem-ber Dave
The ad while not in fine spiritual keeping
shows good will with Big Dave, you save

Merry Christmas all you fine shoppers
    out there in holiday land
Drop on by for some egg nog and
A tune from our Jingle Bell Band

Ho! Ho! Ho!
Come on down y’hear”

School Dazed at Princess High

She was such a pretty talker
Yet she was still my frenemy
The lies she spoke were convincing
She dished a lot of dirt on me

Each of my buds they believed her
Blue eyes and a beautiful face
I tried to limit the damage
Instead I became a disgrace

Her mean words she wrapped in flowers
Soft petals slipping off her tongue
Barbed words she concealed in colours
Each sylable she said really stung

None of them could see her ugly
Until she turned her words on them
As each of them started to notice
They wished to be my friend again

The girl she learned all about Karma
A verbal punch disguised with a smile
Knocked down from the perch of a princess
Kids much prefer substance over style

If you're acquainted with a pretty talker
It's really best that you stay away
No reason to become a target
Don't take part in the games that they play

I am a nurse. It is a difficult job, very stressful and emotional. The patients need

us to be at our best. Nurses are required to be dedicated, caring, responsible and

compassionate to others. Nurses need tons of empathy not only for their patients

and families, but for each other. Now, I have met some mean people in my life

so far, you know friends who disappoint, even family members at times. But I was

shocked to find a nurse who was the absolute worst gossip and bully. Imagine

that! She would join groups to degrade, gossip, insult, sabotage, be mean and

spread lies. How can there be team work with bullying going on? Each person even

if a newbie should be treated with respect, after all everyone was new once! It

always appalled me and from my very beginnings I have never been part of gossip.

Once, for fun, I told the big gossip a story, that I was having an affair with a

older, well off, married man, and I whispered, "PLEASE, don't tell anyone!" Well,

that spread like wildfire. Seriously, a nurse being so cruel is something no one

would expect but trust me she is a pretty good talker. " Oh did you see her

flirting at the Christmas party with every guy!( I think that one was TRUE) Did you

see how much time she spends with her patients and with talking to the families,

REALLY! Oh look at her playing goody, goody with the head nurse! Did you know

she is having an affair with an older, well off, married man, yes, its true she told

me herself!"

    this girl was brand new
         I did not understand why-
                  my t e a r s gave me strength

Pretty Talker

Words are not always pretty and pretty words are not often true
but i see straight though her I am no nobody's fool
She talks 2 me about others
so she must do that to me too
She such a show off hypocrite
It shows when we meet someone new.

Shes nice when you get to know her, they said but i don't see that's so
If anyone asks me do i like her
I will SIMPLY reply with a NO.

My term as a head student will come to an end.
But my three-month term I intend to extend.

I have friends here you know and acquaintances are many
I hope that votes will come, each will contribute his penny.

Take Jenny there I’m sure of her
I will not of her lovemaking refer
Don’t let that shy look distract you
Hidden inside her is quite a shrew.

My program for next term should simply be
Friendship is first, don’t you agree?

There’s Guy and Gus, they are such friends
They give me thumbs up, finger extends.
At least I hope that’s what I’m seeing
I respect them as every human being.

We all must act like a great friendly community
It will be for us friends a great opportunity.

Just like our dear sexy Moll,
A deep cleavage baring her all!!
Oh well let’s concentrate on our thesis
Forget about silicone and another prosthesis.

Between us, I heard that some are cheating,
I don’t wish to bring it before a board meeting.

What, are you leaving so soon, we have much to say.
How come everyone can’t exchange views but shy away?

NB This poem is meant for just fun.

Was Jesus a Listener Or a Talker

Was Jesus a Listener or a Talker?
Once upon a time, mouth and ears were in a great debate, of who was the most import and added the most value. Mouth said if it weren’t for me, ears would not have a job to do. Mouth said “I am able to alert people, I am able to comfort people. I am able to say beautiful things like “I love you”.

“I feel like I have the edge on importance. That being said, I think that’s my case for being the most important”. Now ears said “I listen very attentive and carefully to what all you had to say, and I believe if it wasn’t for ears, everything that you said would be wordless”.

Ears further stated “yes I heard all that you said, and I gave value to it, but a lot of what I heard; I discarded and deleted, so that it could not be processed”. So the conversation went on for quite some time, but finally both agreed; that mouth, the greatest of all you said and do, is when you pray.

And the ears said “the almighty ears, hears all of your most important words that come from the heart”. In final conclusion the mouth said “from now on, whatever I say will come from the heart”.

And the ears said “from now on everything that I hear, I will hear from the heart.” And they all lived happily thereafter.

Sweet Talker

Im such a sucker
For a sweet talker
I fall for all
The guys I fall for
Because they are
Sweet talkers
I feel for a
Total jerk
But only because
He was a sweet talker
And im a sucker
I fell in love
Once only once
I fell for his
Sweet talker ability
All my guys are
Sweet talkers
And I am
Such a sucker
For a great
Sweet taker

Smooth Talker

Love talks
Regardless to what your thinking, the speaker choose his words correctly.

Perfection advised
eyes don't lie, the heart tells the story, the category of emotion rise. The chatter of words
exposed, to hold a conversation is possibly love in the rumors of the lips to control your
thoughts.

Therefore.. its odd.
Part of a job for a sweet talker.
When the heart starts to smolder, because of words spoken so gentle.
Friendly, almost love like it touches the soul.
To add a touch, is a smile, a smooth operator with words chosen carefully.
the mind in a trap, with a rap so sweetly spoken, sweet songs of love are played with words
that cant be explain.

Its agreed,
a seed has been planted from correct words made to produce hope of love.
Its the truth
Love talks
Emotions walk exciting the state of mind that wants to be loved, and held.

Sweet Talker

You said you loved me
And i dwelled into your gloomy eyes
I sacrificed my heart for such a pretty talker
You drew me into your world with your sweet lips
The words would just slipper out of your lips -so sweet
Who would have thought
You would whisper in my ear,
Telling me on how much you care
You would manipulate me with a beautiful conversation

But that was all a HUGE lie,
You didn't love you,
You came into my life
Just to prove a point to your friends
You just wanted to show them
That you've got what it takes
And everything worked out perfectly
You got me- and you got me laid
Within three weeks
I can't believe i fell for those pretty little conversations

You knew that one day
You were gonna break my heart
Somehow you tried creating feelings for me
But you failed,
And to be honest, it felt like you've casted a LOVE spell on me
Then one day you told me how tired you were
Of pretending to be inlove with me
You wanted to tell me the truth
But you couldn't because you were afraid
That you were gonna break my heart
Thus I trusted you, but look at me now

You know I fell inlove alone,
I never stopped thinking about yuh
Since you left me
Even though you said you developed feelings for me
After our break up
you remember back then what you kept telling me
Through all those lies you told me
"I LOVE YOU" was the best
And i loved how you would let me have a taste of your spell

Trouble Talker

I don’t know if his one cold mouth is itchy,

His voice of tot is incredibly catchy.

I don’t see if he’s tired of making crash talks,

Seeing him is a joke when he seriously walks.

He makes sure that everyone listens,

One crap of jape is not much and lessens.

Is he ashamed when he made mistakes?

Is he aware that he can’t get any of those stakes?

I wonder why he’s so much but a trouble talker,

He’s funny but a fool when he chats so over.

T-A-L-K-E-R is his freaky old known name,

Hearing that talker is always and so much and same.

Mr. Trouble Talker can’t knock it off,

He can’t be like prim so why he’s off.

You can’t be as formal as anyone else.

Mouth of worthlessness is rot as every guy smells.
