Sworn To Secrecy

This doesn't belong to me
here you can have it back
i held it now for almost seven years
its getting heavy
you can take it anytime
i don't want to hold this anymore
why cant you take it
it doesn't fit
and it doesn't belong
it tears me apart
the struggle goes on
go ahead and cry
i can hold onto that to
just drop it in and go right through
i'm just a stop
a shoulder to need
and you can go on lifting away free
i'm slowly falling
i'm tipping from side to side
i'm not quite stable
but i'm only here for the ride
i'm not going to take charge
i'm not going to sit
and stare out my window of regret
my window is clear
clear as glass
and gets bigger with everyday we pass
its making me sad
tears run down my eyes
 i cant let it go
that's no surprise
i tell you what i tell you
and hear what i hear
but what about everything inside
everything i fear
well wait
i got that to
right beside the picture of me and you
i know this is crazy
and i know i am to
but what about my secrecy
i have to follow through

Sworn To Secrecy

First day on the job,
you took an oath to only tell lies
Had to sign a non-disclosure agreement,
before you got the Company suit-and-tie
You're CIA now,
sworn to secrecy
You're in the world of espionage,
living a 007 reality
Illegal arms dealers,
Mata Hari babes
Foreign rogue generals,
dark net cyber caches
Toss in a few drug cartels,
and everybody's getting paid
Everybody's getting spied on too,
electronic whispers homemade
You love your job,
truth be told, yet only under oath
But you dislike the party politics of it all,
though you like the sound
of hearing corrupt governments fall
You're CIA bred,
sworn to secrecy
You're in a world of covert spies,
living a James Bond reality
Illicit black market trade,
femme fatale operatives
Pandemic pathogens made,
secret outlawed experiments
Toss in a few psychotic terrorists,
and everybody's getting death video feed
Everybody's getting propaganda-ed too,
hacked disinformation makes liberty bleed
But you didn't reveal this publicly,
because of course,
you're sworn to secrecy

Forever Sworn To Secrecy

Who did it
Whodunit
I really do not know
But this evening
I will witness
a truly iconic show

The Mousetrap* it is named
its claim to fame I hear
Is “the world’s longest run”
Now in its 67th year

Dame Agatha Christie
well ~ she wrote the play
and would be utterly amazed
if she were still alive today

More than twenty seven thousand
performances have played
As audiences pondered
just who had killed who
From the very first performance
in October ‘52

This evening I will find out more
A show I never saw before**
but forever sworn to secrecy
must never give the plot away

I love characters***
just like Agatha Christie
who made her millions
from murders she wrote

On this September eve
I witness red herrings
Put there to mislead
Who did it ~ whodunit
Must not fall asleep
Or no secret there to keep…

*The Mousetrap is a murder mystery play by Agatha Christie. The Mousetrap opened in London's West End in 1952, and has been running continuously since then. The longest running West End show, it has by far the longest initial run of any play in history, with its 25,000th performance taking place on 18 November 2012.

Sworn To Thee

Praises to the one, that allowed me, to be born,
My father in Heaven, why do many scorn,
I believe your Holy honor, will be reborn.
I praise thee, up high, hearing a French horn.
To you My Lord, my faith, my soul, is sworn.

Sworn

This time, this time I will succeed
Never again, never again will I let you rule me
A passage, a passage once hidden by treachery
You are, you are so blind to what I can do
The power, the power that lies dorment within
Is building, is building deep inside me
When your, when your ego controls you
You'll fall, you'll fall down in shame
No longer, no longer my judger nor partner
Betrayel, betrayel is what you showed us
The children, the children who use to adore you
Have distanced, have distanced themselves from you now
It's time, it's time for me to finish you off
No enemy, no enemy deserves this either
Then end, the end to every chaotic thing you've done
Goodbye, goodbye is all I condone

The Sworn Footage

Faint bubbles of ache twinge amidst the froth
Steps cause trips to be carefully guided
But a bricked fall would waist the pain of pace
So weight continues to race pain faced shock
Grimaces speckle the shock one sided
And grace stops hiding from the hate of shape.

A mental case of cause and effect paused
Farce and neglect charged like loss of respect
Swinging at random gusts of wind, fate stands
A pierce that disenchants frozen thought thawed
A pulsating twinge gnawing at regret
Paused an effect and cause both speak demands.

Froth guides the shock of pace shaped one sided
Fate stands as loss of respect thaws regret
Demands then pause a pierce that swings in farce
Neglect effects grace and stops pain felt faint
A simple case of bubbles aches and stress
Yet through aches through stress bubbles always fart

A mental case of bunion and wretchedness...

Sworn Unto a Seraphim

-

         TO A SPIRIT SWORN

There I was in a diner dining quite alone
I recall a blond waitress whose’ name was Joan
I was sitting there un-tidy, un-happy and un-couth
And suddenly aside me sat a spirit who promised to bring me back to my youth

And then I discovered she was more than a spirit but genuinely real
Everything she did was done with precision and unbridled zeal
Everyone knew she’d been born especially to tether me down
And somewhere I have a beautiful picture of her in a teal taffeta gown
‘
I giggled the way a child does because youth was now hers and mine
The girl I met in that diner where the two of us chose to dine
Joan kept asking the lady if she wanted some cherry pie
As I dreamed of my spirit together forever flying high

Her eyes glowed to shame the stars that we would share at night
She’d say silly things about those stars such as “I own the stars on the left and you own the
right”
She danced like a daisy in a tropical breeze as sensually as any ’d seen in quite a spell
And the feeling we felt inside when we would kiss only Aphrodite could tell

Occasionally I’ll walk out of my way to find the diner where we met
But what street or corner it was on I truly now forget
How could the sight of a seraphim at my side be relegated to the past
The reason why is obvious that my forever flew away too fast

No one knew she was leaving or how long she’d be away
And on my knees I’d beseech my God please just let her stay
I pondered the reason she’d left me the way she did and why
Until I saw her note that read “you are young again and now someone else needs me to fly”

Magical miracle pink jellyfish kingdom was a mirage of the mind.
It is your imagination my parents said, there is nothing of the kind.
I discovered it one day when I fell into the ocean of a sea very deep.
But I was sworn to secrecy, so I have not uttered a peep.

Dwindling dwarf continued to dwell
Down by the dubious Dutchman’s dell
Did anyone know
He was a dynamo?
I did, but I was sworn to never tell.

Sworn To Secrecy

Of diff'rent lives we often speak,
When we are left out; all alone
And when we feel so old and weak-
We know it's all we've ever known
Our lives outside our inner shell,
That place inside our secret Hell
To all are Sheep they sweetly weep-
A Wolf! (no one can tell)

A strong Knight,
     with sword in hand;
          stands smug
                in his shiny
                     suit of armor fit
                         for a Lord
                              or King.
A surly
     highborn,
         sworn by oath
                to uphold
                     laws of chivalry
                         with honor and valor,
                              for
both church and country!

Premium Member A Sworn Guarantee - an after-poem to - Loving Eyes

Fueled by affection, once carved to a tree
Strong as a hard-working honey bee
Found selfless in you, a sworn guarantee
I hope this devotion answers her plea!

I hold you next to them, as we both sway
A never-ending nights finest fiery array
But our song is humming in defiant foray
Yet it's being felt in every way

Remembering you, I'll walk an abyss
The consumption I could never dismiss
Heard like drum beats; her true beauty is this
To the end of days, we will be able to reminisce

A singularity of grandest notion
Vast is this lovely swirling ocean
Wild; like the time of locomotion
Perfections elixir set into motion

Sworn Love

I think back to a comfortable place,
And from inside of it there is an image of your face,
The image is permanently burned there forever to dwell,
Always there in its own little shell,
As i think back my memories of you unfold,
Without these memories of you my life would seem so very cold,
Im extremely careful with them acting as if they're delicate glass,
Cautious to make sure they're always safe so they won't smash,
I sit and wonder why it was my heart you had to steal,
Mistreating it and leaving me here to kneal,
I dont regret god leading us to meet,
Whenever i was around you my heart was warmed by your heat,
Ever since the day i caught you in my sight,
My love for you immediately took flight,
And since then you've always been on my mind,
My love for you shines so strong it sometimes makes me blind,
So that everything around me is barely noticed or felt,
And it burns so hot sometimes that i feel like im gonna melt,
I remember you so well that i still know how your kisses taste,
Though your gone now i dont think of my time spent with you as a waste,
You are the only one in this world for whom i actually care,
And when i say this to you it's true i swear,
When i was with you i wished for the clock to just be still,
As i gave you my heart which with your love i wanted you to fill,
As of now my heart is tired and worn,
Yet i still hold my love which to you i've sworn

Sworn

" It's become to real, the coated
deliverance of a steel earth within my veins,
that are numb on the edge of it's counsel, where the duality of both worlds try to reconcile in itself one too the other in the lather of constant conflict to which I'm sworn. "

Sworn Promise

Day pass and dawn fall ,my eyes full of tears.
You sworn on heaven and earth to never shatter my heart but you have broken the promise and the remaining pieces of the shattered glass heart.
My eyes flood rain and my heart felt  unbearable pain. The remains of broken glass cut me one by one slowly ending me with each shards. Each glass pieces sharper than ever , crumbling my heart forever.
