Destiny tide
Comes to shore
Swashed out my doubt
goody goody
gum drop
more than sweets
may mean
a lot
ate a gum drop
just popped it in
rolled around
let it spin
left and right
hugged my cheeks
swashed about
then repeats
savor the juice
sugary delight
tickles tongue
this tiny bite
stuck to teeth
once it's in
while i smiled
big green grin
might not be
a better thing
than this
except a warm
sloshy kiss

The sea is a wild feast -
my heart in breast beating.
The sea, a hungry beast,
tug of war competing.
My feet dissolve in its wake.
I wade out to meet the waves.
Ebb and flow of friendship.
Salty air above my waist.
The wind sloshes my lips.
My cheeks, a blush sunbake.
I dive into the sublime sea.
Turquoise eyes of treachery
allow my vivacity and glee;
kindness swashed with brevity.
Breathless - make no mistake,
I listen to mermaids’ environs,
avoid pitfalls’ overconfidence,
cover ears, stave off sirens,
not greedy for DL opulence.*
Finless and feckless mistake,
if I find myself too far from shore,
arms and foam in dosido,
afraid and pleasured by the roar -
in fearful pretense, I’m paddling slow.
For the dorsal fin of ship, I ache.
Calypso music distracts on deck.
I leave my lover far below unchecked.
Climbing like a pirate to wreck
the captain’s safety, the sea at my neck.
Drowned in seaweed silk; bound and awake.

You have two choices:
Splash me with tenderness
or splash me with spitefulness.
Whatever you decide
to batter me with
is what you’ll
be swashed with afterwards.
Seasons pass away little by little
time moves hour by hour
Within your branches, your hearth of leaves
I wait in patience, moment by moment
years turn decades, nurtured in hope
rolling in your epochs of excitement
murmuring in your sighs of endowment
Yes, at last... the first acorn is born
nestled in your sturdy arms, I hang on
a mighty code etched within my heart
a passionate life packed within my soul
an embedded oak weaves silver dreams.
all compressed, and then I fall...
My shell wailing the hit, hardness of a thud
No shade , no comfort, no more birdsongs
On a ground of dirt laid a bushel of acorns
Scattered hither and thither, broken wreckage
remnant memories of sweet honeybees
hammock swinging close to our boughs
Is this our graveyard?
cries of siblings dissipate in crisp air.
No, please let me live once more.
woodpecker's beak I travel unknown lands
a solitary tree, ..a scampering squirrel
swashed in a lake , strewed amid grass
random winds of luck to a mossy rabbit hole.
Seasons pass away little by little.
time moves hour by hour.
Life sprouts a tiny shoot, a thread like root
I wait in patience, moment by moment
years turn decades, a strong oak stands to tell
an acorn rose and fell,...long story in a nutshell.

Reverberated within the empty chambers of my soul,
As I soak my skin in a clawfoot tub, drowning in my sorrows.
Daring the waves to wash me away,
I lay barricaded in the bathroom with a bottle of Merlot.
Dismembered voices and I shared a night of haunting memories,
As suppressed trauma resurfaces,
My life flashes before my very eye,
Murmurs of a soft lament of what could have been.
At that moment, I was drunk with clarity,
As I swashed the bottle swirling, a whirlpool of emotions.
The red-stained taste of tomorrow’s regret coated my lips;
In this state and plane of existence, my ghosts and I find solace
In our shared suffering.
I ask the Lord for respite from the unyielding ache
Of unrequited love,
Lying in stillness, for I am but a cast of your shadow,
Like a wilting deadly nightshade.
Breathless without rays of love to quell me,
Forgotten upon a dusty shelf,
Hexed by Eros’s wayward lovelorn arrow,
Left to wander this plain perplexed.
Pondering if you were both in cahoots,
All the while, the unbearable ache of my burgundy beating chambers
Spills into the tub.
Then slowly,
I sip,
I drip,
I slip,
Into,
The cold embrace of death.
Letter to whom it may concern
no need of reply in return
this lifetime
You promised I won't let you go
but a melting candle won't glow
for lifelong
My love still shined in lighthouse trust
into a dark sea swashed and thrust
in lifeboat
Countless waves of ifs and whys drown
your goodbye tears keep trickling down
dear lifeline
Learning to live as a no one
an end of life has just begun
my lifestyle.

~ The ship has sailed
Casting seas
This the sentimental voyage
Those the waves engulfing me
Watered down withered tattered and torn
Swiss and swashed washed and decked these waves
So are compassionate so blows the winds
From the east to the west
Alas now I find myself shipwrecked~
