BP knew on February Thirteenth

Of structural flaws in the well beneath

     Goldman Sachs sold its stock

It should come as no shock

The Lord in heaven is grinding his teeth

*Goldman Sachs was the number two contributor to the Obama campaign and
suspicion has surfaced as to why the White House has inadequately monitored
offshore drilling and has been slow to act on stopping the oil spill.
GS sold nearly 60 percent of its BP stock before the April 20th explosion. Coincidence? Insider trading?

Premium Member Dear Trump Supporter On Npr

Dear Lady,

I heard you say that you still trust President Trump
to do almost as good a job as he says he is doing,
despite all the lies,
because "they all do that",
just say whatever the audience of the moment
would most like to hear.

Really?

I believe Abraham Lincoln,
our first Republican President,
would be surprised to hear his Gettysburg Address
was "telling them what they want to hear"
in his best cheerleader,
go, fight, win voice.

And it seems to me that Thomas Jefferson,
one of the PreRepublican forefather type Presidents,
would object to hear his rather specific name-calling
Declaration of Independence from plutocratic,
and perhaps greedy, and maybe slightly cynical, Elitists,
was just telling the good King what he really wanted to hear.

But regardless of whether our quality standards for Presidential integrity
should reasonably be expected to go up,
now that we're into our 40th-something incarnation of this Office,
or reasonably be expected to go down
after the first two or three, or sixteen,
or whatever
back in ancient integrity times,
when the premillennial pubic person was worth his/her word
in trust repaid.

How can you trust a President
who is significantly less sure of your right to health and climate care giving
and receiving
for yourself
and for our multiculturing grandkids,
than was the former President?
How is that going in a direction that you
and your healthy extended pro-life family,
your tribe,
neighborhood militia,
or paranoid klan,
or whatever
you continue to trust
as some direction that could be good enough
for those you love the most?

Health,
like racism
and sexism,
does not optimally arrive in individual-portioned packages;
they only sustain resilient climaxes
on interdependent through empty and bereft social scales
of qualities for cooperative wealth v WinLose competing pathologies.

Your Supporter

Growth, your pedestal knows well
For by day, your knowledge gains
And so to, does your name
As the tie, many may wear
Though the title, you have earned
In every endeavor, you have shone

A witness to your crowning, I stood
To scream my heart, I wished
Though my composure, I maintained
Your moment, I let reign
But my praises, I did not restrain
As a leader, was chosen to lead

Envy, there was none
My declination, I made clear
Though your position, I respect still
For to see an enemy, pain would overwhelm
But to see you, was a blessing wearing no disguise
Your excel, is poetry to my eyes

My words, may possess little when I speak
Though in my writings, none is left undeciphered
For before your step has been taken, my applause is ready in wait
As your abilities, bring forth no doubt
Your supporter, I will never revolt
In the background, my cheers will sound

The Great Life Supporter

After the big bang in space you hang and hang
Getting ready and steady before our history began
Beating a couple of a billion stars to become the Sun
Molding the ashes of earth for the descent of Man

What was your name before we gave you our own?
What was it like the morning of that first dawn?
Did you see our ancestors crawl out of the sea?
Did they acknowledge you, even as they roamed free?

While other planets were too cold or too hot
You made sure earth was a well-ventilated cot
You gave light and warmth just the right dose
A little less or more and humanity would never have arose

Life in abundance, from microbes to the great dinosaurs
Many creatures of the like, when the world had no doors
Then you got rid of the dinosaurs, to save us from harm
That was the plan, so that our turn could at last come

You know which day; the first human stepped on the ground
A great evolution hybrid, compound of your compound
Did he thank you for the water he drank and the air he breathed?
Or for that flower he picked for the first woman he kissed

And when humans became the most dominant species
You guided them to cross the most dangerous of seas
They conquered the world; from ice age to industrial age
But for you it was just another turn of a simple page

They divided the world into nations and races
You watched as they discriminated those of darker faces
They forgot that you polished every creature with a unique shade
And only Mother Nature can answer for what she made

Where were they when you reduced earth’s temperature?
Who was present when you designed life’s nomenclature?
When you painted the sky blue without using a brush
Doing everything to perfection without any rush

Yet we walk around proud, as if there is no extinction
Self appointed custodians, with portfolios of distinction
Finding our refuge inside high walls and banking halls
Staking our immortality by the words of ancient scrolls

We have the theory of it all but it’s not enough
For we have not traveled to the last galaxy above
To answer the mysteries surrounding your birth
To understand why you chose to support life on earth

What keeps you going, what’s beneath your core?
What else do you have for us in store?
Is there an afterlife after we die? Oh great life supporter !
Does our conscious live on in a land of endless laughter?
