Best Sunburst Poems
Sun brush slow as dawn's light breaks
kiss gently on this heart that wakes
warm up days til night stand guard
when breeze blows brisk and mighty hard
Tap lightly on her peeked cheek this morn
where thoughts of love and life are born
bring forth to her peace and hope
and faith in man from words God spoke
Impart comfort and ease in rays you share
lighten our load on that cross we bare
Rise up high and in blue skies do rest
soothe our souls with loyal hearts abreast
Sun brush slow as dawn's light breaks
Paint with grace 'pon swan still lakes

Lyric
Kaleidoscopic light,
Pattern stops, and takes flight;
Resembling sunlight,
So brilliantly bright!
Beauty ever-changing,
Forever rearranging,
Colors interchanging,
And suddenly disarranging.
Purple, blue, yellow, ruby-red,
The scenery spreads.
The hues once wed,
Have once again fled!
Seeming to overcrowd
The small space allowed;
Colors are so loud,
Like rainbow after cloud.

The crimson disc of cold fire afar slowly ascends,
sets the sunk edge of the sunburst horizon ablaze,
as all the cosmic colors the chromatic sky blends,
the sparkle of dew on meadow melts in misty haze.
The crisp northern breeze flutters the fragile canopy,
cleaves channels thru’ the curled foliage for sunbeam,
splashing gold tinsels on leaves rustling on ornate trees,
fringing the fawn vale effulgent in the autumn gleam.
The crystal face of day in azure emptiness shines bright,
dawn to dusk the seamless canvas called sky changes color.
Before the radiance of the day is consumed by the night
I absorb the dregs of the setting sun's sinking grandeur.
The silken tapestry of the black blanket spreads slowly
as twilight dissolves at the fringe of the hazy horizon,
like the timed rainbow melting upon the skyline clouds,
from where the satin darkness flows with the fluid night.
Sonorous sound of silence heralds the silver disc ethereally,
wakes up the sleeping stars one by one to sparkle bright,
the bejeweled crown of sky the amorous ambiance adorns,
as for me moonbeam strands weave lattice of dream of you.
Each night under drizzle of moon dust I wait awake fervently
to see you emerge out of my dream like a seraphic angel,
and walk through the craving garden path of my floral mind,
as I let my thoughts drift in the moonlit night’s mesmeric allure.

In sunburst morning
Clouds drift on light wing
Focused sunrays pierce
Curtain and pane glass
Blaze a track to sun
My cold life I run.

Verse
The sunburst sky of dainty dawn
Dons colors of rose spread on petals of cloud
Like a swinging tree in the wind I stand alone
Hear my hued heart sing aloud.
The sun from the horizon would rise high
The cosmic colors would soon disappear
In the blue abyss of the satin sky
But from my eyes the colors won't clear.
Amidst dense despair of the darkened days
When in my sky the fire of the sun won't burn
My eyes would send colors to the soul to stay
The lost gleam in my life would then return.
The splendor of the rising sun I’d capture
Keep it in my adoring heart forever close
Pulsating with the timeless waves of rapture
Even when the sun sets I won’t lose.

Your Like a sunburst
From which I Went blind
With your words
I lost what was mine
Everything wasted
Faded by time
So Vicious and unkind
A joker
With a painted devil face
Choked away my life
With leather and lace
Can’t bare
What I see
As I stare
In the mirror at me
Half the man
I am
Can not understand
Nor comprehend
The spiral
That you sent me spinning in
Pointing of fingers
Taste so bitter
I’m fading away
Thinner
I’m becoming
Empty
World looking At me
What was
Has become nothing
But a memory
Of dreams
And schemes
Now just hope
Which is fleeing
A sting
To my heart
Is all that is left
Of my being
Shaking and shivering
Cold inside
Lost
On an endless road
I ride
To an unknown destination
If I survive
Home
If I die
Up into the sunburst
In the Sky.

Inspired by Glenn Hughes song "Save Me Tonight ( I'll Be Waiting)"
You’ve left me, traced the trail of melting mirage,
I feel deserted like the desolate sands of dune.
How sadly my pent-up words ‘I need you’
I say with despair, you do not know.
On the sighing sea made of billion drops of tear,
descends the somber shadow of night’s slate sky,
split by the flying flash of a shooting star,
dissolves like my memory in the horizon of oblivion.
The transient flame of devoured desire trajectory
furrows in my mind a blazing trail of yearning.
I can’t trace the track of the spurting star,
for it flies away like the flicker of your love.
I sleep at the desolate edge of the lonely night,
I haven’t seen you shine like a star in my sky,
for you disappear behind the cloud of trance.
I’ve lost you, for I didn’t dream enough.
Your essence is with me as my second shadow,
fused with the abysmal darkness of my soul.
How many candles my love lights for you,
I’m waiting with pining heart to tell you.
As you walk away from my waned wasteland,
you’ll find love, not yet lost in the wilderness.
If you stand by my side under the bejeweled sky,
you’ll see the moondust set us aglow.
Take me through the night to the sunburst dawn
to your meadow gleaming with dew of longing.
That’s when you’ll feel you’re in love.
I’ll be waiting for that day till the end of my time.

Has anyone here witnessed a sunburst
That glorious moment, each time is a first
Each one unique
Caught at it's peak
One of the most spectacular events on earth

Limerick
A ship sails upon coolly placid waters,
Into the sunset of many pastel colors,
Reflected in patches on deep blue seas,
Quite matching the skies' royal blue!
In the days of sun sea color and wind,
Into a hued horizon, soon it will blend.
Freedom and joy are not too far behind,
As purple martins follow warmer seasons.
Sun yellow to peach to orange pink red,
Drifting to sweet dreams on a watery bed!

As the morning light peers in your window
As parallel twines of ray pierce your creamy soft yum
Abandoned and pure she reveals her flawless nature
She turns and turns more as if to settle some score
Legs so proper proportioned stilt and brazen to honor her swaying
A hurricane of passion
Release her chains
Commence the act
Succulent sanctuary
For a trophy of sacrifice
Fantasy and spirit gone wild
She moans and laughs
She shrieks to shatter yet occupy a sunburst fury
We lay as if conquered
Enlighten desires
Sweet sweet chariot of erotic passion
Reward my appetite and healthy conspires

clouds waft on hewed wing,
focused sunbeams flush
curtained window glass,
rays make track to sun,
my cold life I run.

Spring
sunburst
sky sparkles,
unfurled buds swing
petals on hued surge,
fragrant zephyr
serenades
tunes of
spring.
