Best Sublimes Poems

And the Band Played On....Part I

Piranhas, within a canaries cannibal world....

Feasting upon the flesh, of another innocent and vulnerable life

Delivered by the hands of darkness' entrenched; unknowing but willing, messengers of woe!

In hopes of crippling and destroying, by means of ridicule, guilt and shame

The subtle and not so subtle, of the spiteful and scorned....

Chatterings like arrows, from their poisoned bows

Within comments and verse, and their opened air words

Always the same-looking for their entrance, to bring another to their knees

To evoke their own will? These amissfully mangled and subverse desires

Within, these shatteringly tainted dreams....

Relentlessly they search, for the Achilles heel, to crumble yet anothers hope!

Traveling through these mediums of morbids main, and fluttering hearts....

In through the side doors, and along the corridores, via way, of the shadowish mind

Enter the sublimes of deceivings presented, before all of Heavens sight!

While as half closed eyes stand in silence, all about, within muted watch....

Reminding myself of a case years ago; where a young girl was beaten, stabbed and murdered

As at least a dozen different people, cowered within their rooms

Amid her desperate cries, beggings and pleas for help; help, that would never arrive!?

So such it seems so very often, among many within this society in which we live....

Whom turn their backs and avert their glance; while bowing their heads, and walking on by

Back, into their own blackened holes!....(Cont)

Wings of Your Love

When I see your face
Bright as a star in dark skies
Your eyes radiant and clear as crystal
Tears of love drench my cheeks-
On your shoulders forever I’ll lull
Under the comfort of your warm wings of love

When I see greens of the fields
Celebrating every kiss of the winds;
The cold breeze at the shores of falling rivers
I see the shape of your heart-
A heart print that forever will stay
Whispering at every height of the melting mount

When you whisper my name
At the cold of a warm dawn
My heart bleeds for the unending bliss;
I weep when your shadow sublimes-
Leaving only an idol to cling on!
Let me nurture your heart, my love to defend.

The Manchester Ship Canal - Part Two

Stilled again across the canals broadening
Girth;
Mesh cages of rock-filled Gabions
Reinforcing patches of exposed and arid earth,
Reflecting the glints that gleefully
Twist and dance in the hot glare of the sun...
Provoking images and stirring indefinable feelings
That begin to irrevocably up and run;
Pictures and voices crowding into my mind:
Immersing me in the flooding moments
To which i am briefly resigned.

Now momentarily staid by the shimmering
Instance
In which i find myself inextricably caught,
Perplexed by something rather intangible,
Seeming almost to tease and laugh
Whilst confounding upon my evasive and
Fleeting thoughts;
As glancing across at the opposite bank
Where drawn up a line of densely packed trees..
I swore...I heard the reel of a high squealing
Fiddle -
Playing ever so briefly alongside a tricky little
Breeze.

For stood there I, wondering,
On a grey painted swing-bridge:
Of brightly painted Steamers, dirty Trampers
And of double masted white canvassed Brigs.
Oh! The everlasting glory of a New World order
Redefined:
Entrusted to those instructed in her Majesties
Construction of sprawling Victorian sublimes!
The men who heroically dug, picked, blasted and
Strove:
To securely fasten an Iron cast girdle around
An ever diminishing blue globe.

Dreaming of long ago, dutiful, Golden-Age days
Rigorously pursued down, what are now,
Weed strewn, abandoned byways.
Faustian clothing and a Velveteens cap;
The thick buckled leather gaiters held about
By the strap.
Many the word spoken in a soft southern brogue:
All hail the glorious navigators -
The navvies of old!

Staunch and desperate men forced to resign
Their native Gaelic shores
And burden unto themselves with
Mattocks, shovels and garishly painted-up whores.
Under the high flaming beacons
And over the obscure little brow -
They carved out the new waterways
To float the laden down prow.
Yes! Men of the Emerald Isles
I salute you and your kinsfolk
From lands cast westwards afar:
The magnificent "Paddies" from the verdant island -
Of Erin-Go-Bragh!

See Green

Being arcane is always a thing.
It is an amazing thing to perceive.
In that an individual needs a motive,
Change your fate by being esoteric.

We all know to be open-minded is to have open space.
Avocado furniture we put in these places.
Emerald and olive green is the design.
Where we unwind our spirit to enjoy our leisure time.

A willing chi sublimes as
A beautiful picture hung high.
Awe-inspiring to the mind,
Greener the grass becomes from the sunshine.

In essence, transcendental is growth.
Unequivocal to the richness of the soul
Is pure thinking and the writing of poetry in which
Acumen advances and the cultivation of people are known.

Is it who that desires splendor
Strives to achieve the impossible?
Or, are we thriving to accomplish more?
Experience is said to be the best teacher.

Brother In Law's Wedding

Journey began for a family wedding
Lucky one is the brother in law
Love or arranged all seem chatting
Everywhere laughter some is awe

Reached the venue a day before
Gossip time along with fancy cheer
Discussions about beauty… on floor
Speculations for new comer un-clear

Greeting few known to many unknown
Everyone giving their words of wisdom
As if met many times…love over flown
Gathering so big like a family kingdom

Talks around…of old times and new
Rushing to the marriage tunes like crazy
Practicing for best roles solo or in crew
Laughter and gags to spice up lazy

Trying the untried talent activity
Wedding day spreads it unique glory
Dressing their best to be a celebrity
Dance, drink, dining…completes story

Couples remembering their times
A family photograph among all clicks
Making memories which sublimes
Wedding moves with happy-sad streaks…

Amor Por Siempre

El suave manto de la noche que nos cubría,
como cómplice fiel de nuestro intrínseco amor;
a la llegada del alba se desvanecía,
descubriendo nuestros cuerpos hartos de pasión.

Sublimes y dulces fueron aquellos momentos,
en noche estrellada con alegre titilar;
al arrullo de olas de insinuantes movimientos,
que llegaban celosas queriéndote robar.

Los rayos del sol empezaban a aparecer,
en aquel escenario de ambiente tropical;
y al disipar las penumbras del amanecer,
pude contemplar tu bello rostro angelical.

Eran los ímpetus de un idilio juvenil,
naciente en las tibias arenas de un mar sereno;
y entre ardientes besos de adolescencia febril,
nos prometíamos vivir un amor eterno.

Sentimiento sincero llevado en nuestras almas,
que ha establecido para siempre una de dos vidas;
baluarte en la tormenta y refrigerio en la calma,
nos llena de gran felicidad, dia con dia.

Años pasaron y hoy seguimos enamorados,
viviendo aquel romance de nuestra juventud;
recordando alegremente aquel bello pasado,
tiempos idos que atesoramos con gratitud.

Este amor que floreció entre palmeras y brisas,
fortaleciéndose contra viento y tempestad;
mantendrá inseparables por siempre nuestras vidas,
y nos perseguirá más allá en la eternidad.

Does This Make Sense?

Some will find they’re at odds with opinions expressed
here, call me to account, but I color all friends
who remain in the room! When your feelings are hurt -
if your heart’s to forgive, will’s to clear each impasse,
joy’s to act in a way that shows warmth to some rhymes
(till the end of life’s breath), that expand who I am
(though blood slips bounds of banks), I aspire to that rock
as I climb from life’s beach, clear my vision of clouds,
and join aspect of stars that are light-years away.

Is perfection a reason that love gets confessed
or observed? Who dreams pearls (fools sign worth - fashion trends)
all command such an arc (this sad question’s too curt?)
when their fossilized curves serve to compost morass
at bays’ bottoms with oysters whose housing sublimes
to time’s sandstone? Is fruit from a poisoned exam
(that one cheats on) all ‘Love’ is? You need to take stock
if you think you’re not fool to believe you best crowds
of those wiser than you, aren’t Cro Magnon cliché.

Are genetics we own plus or stain on (God’s?) path?
Ours a toehold, a second (from life’s first veneer
through the moment we’re in) if earth’s hour is one day,
our whole galaxy’s fatuous footnote, a tag
in the grand scheme of things! And we’re plum in God’s eye?
Did the dinosaurs sin to imagine God’s Grace
was theirs too in the millions of years they held reign?
God! One day all got stoned! Did they brag they were clay
formed, a likeness of God that He kissed with life’s breath?

Some may claim that “The one thing I’m sure of is death,”
but they’re kidding themselves. Our acts can’t earn their way!
“Souls are real!” “Death is real!” Both aspire to less pain,
but ‘Lights Out’ is a window our fingers can’t trace.
It’s in ‘faith’ all approach to greet exit and try.
Does the Atheist go to his fate smoking f*g?
Do Believers who die win gold rings in some way?
Do Agnostics escape faith who think truth’s most dear?
May God’s Justice get served, steeped in Grace, not earned wrath!

Premium Member Who Do We Appreciate

Earth's nature provokes sacred as a rooster,
crowing greetings
invoking today's meetings
toward GodSun's rise.

World worn spirits
sacred as a wolf
howling toward full moon light
enough for fierce feast feeding times
rendering EarthMother's nourishing sublimes.

In between rabidly distancing Yang
and radically inviting Yin,
both intrusive greetings
and inclusive meetings,
wildly ecstatic
co-emphatic
sacred life
means not yet death
of nature's howlings.

Atascadero....

Walking through the corridores at Atascaderos State Hospital

Here to speak to a certain confined patient....

Within the walls of the criminally insanes, incarcerated

Thinking to myself a moment ago as I checked in my arms

How thin are the lines that I have seen throughout time!?

Between sanity and sanes, fragile crossings....

To look upon the former would seldom reveal, the true psychosis deep inside?!

These tainted minds, lying within their dormancies and waiting to be born....

Often only within hindsights and retrospects can many find

What was but the dawning of a brewing and soon to be arriving, storm!

The sweetest man; the loveliest lady; most of the time?

Borderlines telltale signs, often overlooked and missed by most

Until one day the barrier breaks, and the blood curdlings tide comes rushing through

Insanities birth; as it freefalls to the earth....

From the foreshadowed incubator of, darkness' mold!

Now staring into their hollowed eyes, and somberly reflecting upon

The innocent and precious lives, of which they so viciously stole

Wanting to know anything and everything, which may prevent someday

Such a tragedy from perhaps, ever happening once again?

But I have lived long enough and seen more than my desired share

Of reality, within these distorted views; among a world wherein they thrive

Embracing them bred; as if they were their own child....

And the truth is, so ironically sadly, these, they are!

Welcome to the times of the shadowed sublimes, cocoons, waiting to burst

Their offsprings, of the mangled and manged

Hideously grinning as they make their way

To the misfortunates future graves

Afore the countless loved ones, shattering hearts!

Smiling at myself as I now ask them---Who? Why? What? Where?

Thinking of an old adage...."A book by its cover?"

Borderline bound, in blood red lace; retrospected, no more!

The telltale signs, of the criminally insane

How? When? He said? She said? To a world, they wed....

....Welcome, to the final floor!?

The Consciousness

With every tick of the clock
And the door's suspense
Sometimes a great knock and the consciousness grows
Like a red rose

Slowly, Softly, Silently
Timidly, Taciturnly, Terrified
Hesitantly, Slyly, Wisely
In eta into an enormous not extinguishable hearth

Called the soul
That burns unexhausted-------
Absorbs, Acclimatises, Accentuated
And adheres to it for a short long time

Till the appointed moment
To escape into another life
Of stringent struggle and strife
Yet with another tick

It becomes saturated sick
Still assumes another form
Totally different, fully divergent
No past recollections, repentance of sentiments

Gathers, Collects, Shares
Enjoys, Repines, Bears
Stays, Dissolves, Sublimes
Growth, decadence, degradation with the time.

Money Wealth and Blood

Money some say its as
sweet as honey,but
little do they know that
its stoney. In its
pitiless glare and hatred
makes the people
blood even more red.
Some live for the money
others live to be sorry.
Because where there is
great wealth there is
great worry. Money is
like camphor which
sublimes. It may be there
in an instance and and in
a twinkle gone. Its
fruitful and fleshy and all
of a sudden change
into stone. Vanity lives on
vanity and evil
emerges from wealth.
And wealth is acquired
from money. And money
they say is blood. So
when there is no wealth
there is no money,
when there is no money
there is no blood.
When there is no blood
the heart of the
economy STOPS!!!

The Blue Ribbon

A stripe of blue in an ocean of black
Three hundred miles below
At the still time before a thunderstorm
There lies the dazzling beauty
A miniscule of infinity in a blue ribbon glistening in night sky
On the black crescent earth
Dumb, we feel dumb, in the tempest of mirth
From three hundred miles up a tiny blue speckle
A sense of pity in our entity
As we sometimes feel
Looking at a vast ocean from its shore
How poor our reality is
Our home and hearth
Just a speck in space
So was the mercury across the sun
Here in Kolkata yesterday
A dot, a fleck, almost of no worth
Yet we can yearn and earn many sublimes
Your beautiful face in starlit chimes
The world of our thoughts is mighty complex
As we reflect
On the myriad emotions
And the associated countless notions
Flooding over our perception
As we look back dazed from so high up
At the majestic blue ribbon
That is our earth
Environed by black night space

A moment ideal
Real blending in the surreal

Heartbreak hotel
Feelings unobliged
Fortuitous flailings
Unbridled undertones
Benign beginnings
Stalwart sensations
One step forward
Conscious awareness
Forgotten sublimes
New roads reclaimed
A better man arises
Love roads renewed
Composite bliss blessings
Ready and waiting
Summer bossa brewed
Finder's keepers.

Hunting Vacuum

Speaking to the clock
"tick-tock..tick-tock..."

The Cold breeze whispered in her ears:
"Kill and I will clot..
Like a cherry on top,
Thou shall suck the ruptured spleen
Taste of blood, thine eyes shall gleam.."

She grinned in mockery of their fears:
"yes Master! I read your chimes,
In my alleys, wisdom sublimes
Into the smoke, of a stale corpse
My rhymes are written in ruby drops.."

Night has fled beneath her eyes
And there, she stood by her prey:
Thorough, and her hair was dark
Conscience seldom would embark
Her psyche, she had no doubt
Loved the redness on her pout..
The glee that death had given her
Made her fly into the azure,
Choice of knives,
Choice of lives,
Or raw, she liked her meal
Broken bones,
With fleshy robes
Alive! It made her feel:
Fingers dripping blood,
She licked the floor..
For more,
Poor prey! she kept it still
As she devoured to the heart..

The Cold Air embraced her in a passionate kiss..
Esctatic shiver in the icy trance,
She had her dessert:
Eyes that lolled on the couch,
She plucked, as per her divine vouch,
Time had passed, without a glance..

She leaves the night for the damned
Until hungry again.

Premium Member Reasons and Rhymes

I've used up nearly all the primes of my life,
Heard all the whistles, bells, and chimes of my life,
And traced the seasons and the times of my life
Through the ambiances and climes of my life.
The squandered nickels and the dimes of my life,
The acts of goodness and the crimes of my life,
The dark despairs and bright sublimes of my life,
The loves, the laughs, the grimes, and slimes of my life,
The noisy words and pantomimes of my life
Make up the reasons and the rhymes of my life.
