Snow falling—
Falling.
Feathers escaping from the pillow-heaven
Confusing the air
With the steadiness of a stampede
Advancing, clinging, smothering.

Snow falling—
Settling.
White fleecy lambs atop every protrusion
Sleek ermine boas
Draped upon the naked arms of nature
Bare of their green velvet capes.

Snow falling—
Drifting.
The spatula of wind
Smoothing mounds of marshmallow frosting
Billowy swirls
Of whipped immaculate splendor.

Snow falling—
Burying.
Obscuring the drab tired earth
Her deep wounds of time
Dissolving shadows of other seasons
That Spring may arise again.

End of Days

And I for one would like to sleep
but I cannot, because I weep
for lives and dreams and nations lost
We never thought to count the cost

So many are the pirouettes
of running, flailing silhouettes
as flames behind them flicker high
to set aglow the night time sky

Becoming so habitual
this savage urban ritual
of settling some phantom score
by pillaging a local store

is just a New World Order nod
like summoning some pagan god
These worshipers show ignorance
while sacrificing common sense

And mass hysteria abounds
while cultish television clowns
erroneous, declarative,
perpetuate their narrative

That theirs is right and yours is wrong
so you had better come along
and join the other little sheep
Oh how I wish that I could sleep!

Alas my mind shall never rest
My soul, this world does daily test
Let my last option be my first
In God's sure hand I'll be not cursed

My money doesn't mean a thing
Possessions make not my heart sing
But steadiness in spirit form
shall guide me safely through the storm

And though the world be set ablaze
as we come to the end of days
I pray that you and I shall be
together in eternity

Horses

Her tiny strands of forelock were as soft as silk,
resting gently between her poll and soft ears-
Her muzzle slightly wet as it began to wilt
For she was saddened and brought to tears.

She had been racing and fell hurting her back hock,
pulled the stifle muscle falling on her croup-
She already had a previous injury in her left fetlock,
now she was separated from her racing group.

You should see her withers on the bottom of her mane,
so strong and robust while she ran in the field-
She had such class, always winning almost every game,
but she also had a problem when it was time to yield.

See, she was born with Quiltor, an infection in the lower leg,
if drastically affected her frog just underside her left hoof-
Her leg would get tired and to her gaskin it had spread,
she was still determined to race, but at times very aloof.

Her coronet was meant for balance and steadiness,
and in her final race you could tell she was prepared-
she was excited and filled with eager readiness,
although she had some ailments, she was never scared.

my friend,
          beacon, bright ...
how you have bewitched my years,
dancing on the wall of my room since my first memory,

a warm sweep of security and steadiness,
never failing - ever true ...
blinking me to sleep each night like a prayer -
     "I'm here! - I watch! - You're safe!"

I wonder ...
          are you really a warning?
Or do you wink your sparkling eye
only to taunt the unwary prey at sea?

Schooners, barques, cutters, and frigates,
wagging their masts like bony fingers,
admonishing you for your questionable intent.
How many have fallen for your treachery in ages past,

turned to driftwood and terror by your crimped and craggy skirt?
Not even Neptune's raging ire can affect your flicker,
for you have stood, steadfast and bold,
through the wickedest of gales ...

splitting the beastly billows with dire disregard,
          and turning the tempest's tides
to naught but foam and spray.
But your days are numbered, old friend,

the world spins far too fast these days for your kind ...
your lights being snuffed by digits and dials,
               and the indifference of technology.
But I shall remember you ...

your pulse will live on in my mind,
and in the hearts of all those who knew you -
all those who survived for your sake ...
     and numbered your glinting gaze.

Broken Verses

The sun set low
And my heart split asunder
The wind blew hard with traces of slow
Darkness spread around and pierced deep under
My blooming valley of roses
Causing them to wrinkle and writher
Poison seeped through my immaterial illusionary world
And caused my heaven a devastating destruction
Smithereens of cutting glass started flowing in my blood
Caused me to shed tears, which made my imaginary world flood
The night seemed eternal, the silence so bloody
Chilled my nerves with horror so relentlessly
Stung my heart with so horrible notions
O how I wished I could lose myself in a twirling motion
With sight and tears, my head rested to a weak slumber
Jerked awake the next morn with a head struck with thunder
The tears so mercilessly had intervened with my peace connection
To stay serene for the next few hours was something beyond imagination
O how I dearly desired the whole ordeal was just a wicked dream
But reality chases one even in a protective realm
Ambled I feebly with a heart soaked in dolor
To a room which I considered my treasure trove
Where I had hatched all my sunny memories and flourished in their fragrance
Where flowed swiftly my memory river with steadiness
With broken sighs and a distressed heart
I set forth to design a beautiful card
But relinquished my work before it was accomplished
Well aware I was that fate would not have it acknowledged
With uncontrollable emotions and a heart filled with desperation
Broke off into a million tears which filled my sea of emotions
With withered reminiscences and scattered notions
How I wept! With great pain I sobbed
As if of worthy fortunes someone had me robbed
My plight seemed everlasting, my love ever flowing
Through the misty valleys where there was no hope of blooming
Into long cherished dreams and sentimental illusions
If it was God’s ordained Will, then there was no solution
Except to bear the whole trial with forbearance
But I failed to practise that, and made undesired interference
In matters where things were already so bleak
But I ensured that my next few months were doomed to make me weak
That’s another story, I desire to abandon it for now
Sometimes later, so farewell for now

Dancing on One Leg

Dancing on one leg,
On one leg we live with agony.
Agony shapes our wobbly footsteps.
Footsteps made into inaudible power.

Power blossoms through a series of gaffes.
Gaffes in life we must encounter.
Encounter the collapse,
Collapse that let us instill how to soar

Soar through tornadoes.
Tornadoes that hover steadiness
Steadiness leading to respire hesitation.
Hesitation converts into intensity.

Intensity that coals irrepressible souls.
Souls molded by cracks
Cracks that find cadence in the obscure.
Obscure leads to dawn
Dawn still pirouetting on one leg

Organized Chaos

*no outsiders allowed inside
a lone rule breaking in
a no rule zone
nowhere to go in an open sea,
lost with somewhere to go

a sleepless dream
or was it a dreamless sleep?

getting confused with the steadiness
of finally feeling a constant heartbeat
slowing down in the fast lane...
unpredictable in the land of inevitability

the silence of the heart
thunders
in the mind

niggling...refusing to accept
what it all means, what it implies

denial or is it blindness?
putting up a **deep facade
but really
just floating--
feet on the clouds
with head in the ground

solid stone crumbles to dust
as ice melts the fire
of resistance--now sputtering,
sparkling shyly
as diamonds would

upside down
right side up

downside up
up side left

head tucked in
with neck sticking out
heart in throat, swallowing it
getting thirsty in the rain

fools made out of geniuses
or is it
geniuses made out of fools?

love~
so many are lost in it,
puzzling the mystified
and the rational
yet many understand it
when things fall into place

but
once a missing piece does fit,
it only finds other mysteries

stumbling on answers
in organized chaos

no wonder
people go crazy over it

The Incapacity That Can Shape a Shattered Heart

Every life has courage
Every life can see the light
Every life can see the truth
Every life is a priceless piece

Every day can be trailblazing
Everyday dialect has an exact mannerism
Every day has clues that suggest steadiness
Every day has prolific languages

Everything brought you here
Everything implies you still have a chance
Everything from the yesteryear breathes inside you
Everything is an avocation that you exist

Every second entails presumptions centered on phenomena’s
Every second of apprehension can encumber the last
Every second devours time
Every second gave you a venture to be here now

Every one of us desires permanency
Every one of us strains to attain
Every one of us has distinctions
Every one of us has a speech
Every one of us can generate a spark

Every Life
Every Day
Everything
Every Second
Everyone Of Us
Can Make a Difference

Christmas Lights

CHRISTMAS LIGHTS

Red, gold, yellow, green and blue
Are the colors of Christmas, which glow.
They help us feel their value within
As we travel our way through the snow.

Red stands for passion, anger or desire
Gold is the steadiness of love.
Yellow is fear of the unforeseen
Green and blue are the stars above.

The luster of Christmas can be yours
Most anywhere at a nearby store.
To purchase and adorn your tree and home .
Celebrating life, Jesus and more.

The Rythem of You

I slip between the sheets
gently not wishing to wake you.

Carefully I snuggle up beside you
nuzzeling into your neck
where it is tender and warm.

I breathe in the aroma
of your freshly bathed body
and the essence of you.

My hand traces your graceful
yet sinuous body.

As I lay my head on your chest
I hear the steadiness of your
breathing and the constant
beating of your heart as you sleep.

With all of my senses now full of you
I am lulled to sleep with the rythem of you.

I Hate Giving Things Titlesssssssssssss

I hold my sides wearily
pondering the lengths and strides I still have to take until I am authentic
My lies have become piled so high.... I have a lot of damage repair to do before this struggle
is through.

Afraid to expose the vulnerable
I stare in confusion in front of the looking mirror, trying to distinguish where exactly it was
where my smile
Lay down, gave up and died.

Weakened from my mind's inner war zone turmoil
Your compliments are cynical shrapnel to my confidence
Rebellious relentless disbelieving that I am what I know I am unique and
Pulchritudinous
I walk an unsteady line
tight rope of apprehensiveness
Unconfident
I want to let my hair down and just breathe..listen to the drip drop of a waterfall and sleep.
I remind myself to Speak with Conviction
I know
I am no longer powerless
dependent on desperately trying to win your approval, you will never be affectionate
I will not be Subservient or put myself at risk for the harms way of that subjection
Impotent of love you were feeble and weak, feeding on my youth and purity.

I resurrected my heart with the my rocket fuel beating life back into my chest.
It's a combination of
Passion, devotion, infatuation and a couple of years worth of
Tears, and sweat
It's a metronome of my steadiness
Invigorated from my second chance
Defiant to self doubt
I valiantly confront challenges that used to make me shake in my converse shoes.

Ride 'Um Cowboy

Cowboy rides horse cowboy boots in stirrups
Cowboy hat waving in hand, yeehaw it’s grand,
Cowgirl is on the range! Lasso by corral
Appaloosa horse hurrah! Glad he’s a cowhand.

Dreaming of equipage horse-drawn
Carriage with attendants at wedding,
Hoedown rootin’ good time with
Root beer float, now kiss bride in west heading.

Galloping palomino golden tan coat
Rapid pace fast on each stride,
Cream-colored mane and tail fly high
Fair beautiful daughter sure and firm in abide.

Stagecoach rolls on by, near town Apache Junction
Locomotive sporting cowcatcher grille,
Black Stallion feisty and alive; husband’s
Love abounding in firm steadiness still.

Texas longhorn cattle cowherd on the range
Equestrian horseback riders like cowhide,
Head ’um out, move ’um out, rawhide! Open land wander and graze
Riding habit outfit, western sunset love now wide.

My Wish For a Genie

If I could meet a genie, who will grant three wishes for me,
The first thing I would ask for is your eternal company.
Your happiness and laughter would make me feel so good,
To be together all the time, I only wish we could.

My second wish would be that your smile will never fade
It lights your face and lights my life, my days are always made.
It sets my heart racing, at what rate I cannot say
You're in my life right now, and I'll care for you each day.

For my final wish I'd ask my genie to make us safe and strong,
Your steadiness and gentleness will move us both along.
Our feelings for each other will keep us close together,
And thanks to my genie, we'll stay that way forever.

Incense

To my nose she was a stick of incense.
Filling me whole, her eyes.
The ashes fell,
Spacing her walk.
With smoke closely trailing.
The sun quickly set.
There's no where in the world I'd rather be.
An empty room filled by you.
A hint of spice mixed with something sweet.
The steadiness of warmth no matter day or night.
To relax and fall into deep sleep.
The smoke dancing through my dreams
In wait to be lit again

The Realization

The heart glows but still there's sadness
The mind's at rest, but still there's commotion

I am in a crowded street, yet I feel lonely
I walk in a noisy place, but somehow I feel the quietness
The sun is shining yet i feel the thunder and lightning
There is darkness but i see light
Swirling and twirling yet there is steadiness

A feeling of uneasiness with a strong sense of PEACE

When i try to reason
i realize it MAYBE a Dream.....or perhaps...?????
