Moon Captured By Her Spells

Blue skies and rainbows

Science fiction and fables

Poetess and poet are making love

She’s writes the verses to undress me

Great lines that flower in her hair

Her lips of ink are red and rosy

Each stanza goes straight to my head

I want to read and read her

Over and over

Every day, any time

From cover to cover

She writes of loneliness and sorrow

Of broken hearts that never mend

She is the dream I need each morning

Moon captured by her spells

I want to read and read her

Over and over

Every day, any time

From cover to cover

Blue skies and rainbows

Science fictions and fables

Poetess and poet are making love

Welcome my dear
what can I do you for?
I offer spells and charms galore

A love philter you say?
I know just the thing
When I am done
to you he’ll cling

When sun takes its bow at the close of day
In a place where ocean waves meet bay
Let curtains close to mortal sight
Behold
desire’s flame ignites

Employing drift wood
in the sand
Inscribe his name
Feel heart expand
Stir 3 times in clockwise motion
Whilst we brew this lover’s potion

A drop of blood
a strand of hair
Will free you soon from your despair
You’ll feel the warmth spread through your
being
You’ll both find this most agreeing

Feel wind’s breath upon thy cheek
Sacred words you now must Speak
Tell the Earth, the wind and fire
Inform the water of your desire

Let Cupid’s compass spin once more
For His benevolence you must implore
East and south
West and north
Spirits of seduction I call thee forth

Hark to the rhythm of the drums that pound
Thrashing out the heart beat
of the one to be spell bound

Whilst the bonfire slowly dies
Images flash before his eyes
Untie him now
He will behave
I have cast a spell
He is enslaved

Hit him now with passion dart
And then my dear you have done your part
All that’s remains is for you both
To gulp it down
Let’s have a toast

Before you do you will pay me now
There are others who need me anyhow
His Affection will grow like weeds
I must away now to do good deeds

Will my enchantment stand the test of time?
I hear you ask, Well they’ll be just fine
Sleep now children in my domain
I promised to free you from your pain
Their lust will last eternally
Till I dump their bodies in the sea

Dark Spells

As a clock running in black circles down
Distant stars lighting reddish fairy gowns,
Earthen pastures in darkness all aglow,
Awaiting dawn's eager cock to thrice crow.

Two wagging tails on huge fantastic birds
flying with dust stirring African herds,
For life in wailing pain must thus this bring,
curses spun from magical, hellish ring.

Night-winds ill blowing with green, nasty stench
coming calamity, sure-fire cinch,
Time and Fate conspire with evil blood-lusts
removing hope and adding deep the rusts.

Dragon pair emerging to life consume.
Old hag weaving spells on wicked loom.

The Faeries Are Still Outside

The Faeries Are Still Outside

Trying to cheer a garden up from the clay,
But the crabgrass won’t part
And the trees are snickering
At the art-
Less way the faeries
Sway while chanting,
Casting their spells—
Such an untalented group!
Out of tune, with
Too often the lyric,
 “wha’ ta’ we all do?”
Stuck in a measureless breath
And beyond any rhyming lure to
The sprouts for any wanting to grow!
Wise, the trees lean, whining,
Slow whispers that, “
The faeries should go!
Back to their wizards
For more lessons in garden growth. “
The aged trees are exasperated; after all,
There’s little more to it
Than spreading the
Spell of encouragement, because
The sun and earth are already there prepared
For the growing…
So the trees advise,
“Raise ye’ stems around us trees.
We’ll keep the winds
From blowin’ ye’ over!
And keep the sun from
Parching your leaves.
We’ll sing lullabies to the herbs,
“Hush a-bye lurra lu,
Rest now your intake of green.
Be doodle-ye-do get ye’ ready
 For droplets of dew
Diddle-eye-done
Dew comes after your dreams
Along with the rise up of the sun.”

Then the trees applauded
Among themselves, promising
That as soon as
The garden grew a bit,
The trees would tell all those little plants
Just how Spirit
Lives inside their stems, their flowers and leaves,
Where the spells of the faeries cannot reside…but,
“Deed le-dee see la so sigh.” Fine,
Let the spells be sung.
“‘Tis a task the faeries prize,” and who knows if it won’t
Help the clay to crack,
“Fiddle diddle perhaps a fact!”

The ritual, started with the influence of scarecrows
They taunt, they slyly work their way through a spell
Their eyes glow, they have razor teeth waiting for flesh
Human flesh is their delicacy, eating straight through hell
Yellow is their color, power is from the fires below
Destroying, casting, waiting for the atrocities of night
Keeping promises, promises of death and destruction to all
Opening nothing but the gates, the gates of hell tonight
Passersby that wander, they love to grasp their souls
And cause evil splicing, to pounce on their somber innocence
Unlike the witches that come by, irritating they are
For they compete, to take away the stock of the human sense
Jack-O-Lanterns surround, the scarecrows concentrate
And the crows, they love the night’s evil of departed souls
Tombstones move, underneath the soil becomes very loose
And out comes the nature of the spells, the hurtful ghouls
Evil lives, alive and free this night of Halloween, fear abounds
Love is not safe, it will not save you under the moon’s glow
The fire rages, carries over the temperament of death
They all dance, dance to the rhythm of hells fury below

Magic Spells

When I call you in a dream

Hear what I have to say

As hot blood runs through my vein

Do not turn your heart away

In the exile of your soul

let the midnight stars shine bright

let my arms be a warm pillow

in the dark thought of the night

Let the magic of believers

be the shadow on your wall

Let this whisper in your ear

keeps you coming back for more

When I call you in a dream

from the breeze upon the shore

Leave your window slightly open

Fly with me forevermore

Slinking silently through the night
on tiny tipped toes, claws withdrawn.
He mustn’t sleep until daylight’s dawn,
prudently prowls, avoiding light.

Clever, cunning crones craft a spell
to purloin his priceless powers,
control them in Eve’s evil hours,
condemn powerless prey to Hell.

Hither, fine ferocious feline.
Soulfully sing your sacred song.
Whiskers hoary, lavishly long
subtle signs of ancient bloodline.

He will not succumb to witches
who wish to control, to command.
Here he makes a substantive stand
to thwart wicked witches’ wishes.

Cruel claws render stinging slashes
slitting through wrinkled, withered skin.
They shrilly shriek their dying din,
melting ghoulish, gray-green ashes.

As golden sunlight
streamed through the curtains
A vision touching deeply
As birds began singing adoring sunlight

Looking into your eyes enters
A treasure in the heart
one true gift
within a thousand dreams

Holding hands
Ever so softly whispers
Standing before me
Delicately breathing
everything that is beautiful in life

Love you are
an angel on wings
who holds majestic
the soul ever so warmly sings

Flooding with deep magic
surrounding the heart
captured kisses your grace
Joy dances on each skipping beat

Ancient Trees, Cast Your Spells

O' where are the very ancient trees swaying
moon beaming with band of coon hounds baying
Crystal nights casting shadows from tree to tree
earth crying out so for man's spirit to just see

Olden glades that stir the heart's lovin' ardor
make a man sing out and race on all the harder
Twisting undergrowth so magical in the making
Nature's harvest sitting there just for the taking

'Call of the wild', leaping about each aging giant
stirs man's heart to fire up to be brazenly defiant
Mighty woods standing against attacks by evil foes
cuts and gashes upon ancient trunks everywhere shows

O' when will man's great follies ever dare to cease
Protect such aging beauties by giving ever sweet relief

note:

Decades of Rampant Clearcutting in Our National Forests Is
Ruining America's Last Wild Forests.
America was once covered with one billion acres of towering
primeval forests. These forests were teeming with plants
and animals, a treasure-trove of evolutionary diversity
and biological richness. Giant, centuries-old trees had
trunkside and soared to the height of 30 story skyscrapers.

In the past 500 years, aggressive logging and development
have destroyed over 95% of these original forests.
The last remnants of America's virgin and natural forests,
with their unique and irreplaceable life, reside mostly
on our national forests. The 155 national forests cover a
large portion of our country, an area about the size of
California Oregon and Washington combined, and stretch
from Alaska to Florida. Most states have at least one
national forest.

A vicious spell has been cast
into a black cauldron to boil
Trouble and toil attempts to spoil
The snake is beginning to uncoil

He will keep you up late reeling in hate
        continually accepting the dangling bate
Post twelve o’clock chime precisely timed
his louring voice will play games
            behind the candles flickering flames

In the Nelanther Isles a sorcerer Azrael practices his skill.
Fire and water combines at his will.
Bolts of lighting crash to the floor.
Molecular elements studied, bound by truth.
Arcane Magic inborn in youth.
Azrael hidden in the darkest of realms.
Powerful force in the palms of his hands.
He shall master this feat like no other sorcerer can.
