Ghetto Children

Gunshots be leavin 'em children alone
they gotta find a way all on they own
kids screamin out sets for hope
then run around with a crew slangin dope
can't forget that they saw they fathers go
witness to earth the bloodiest show
to young to truly understand
despite what ya heard God won't hold your hand
It seems to me that we've been forlorn
destined death after death to mourn
lookin at the future of us all
death to brothas come at a sudden call
little children begin to see the light
keep on killin knowin that it ain't right
but desperation sets in hopin for death
because it's to painful to take another breath

How many of my brotha's died last week
an an answer given not for the weak
life like this shoulda made us sick
creepin in streets tryin not to get licked
time again are numbers start to dwindle
hopein for knew life in this race to be kindled
but all we ever do is disappear
it's funny that are lives are consumed by fear
and are youngstas reproduce fast
more brothas get shot lives endin in head casts
why do we gotta die at such a rate
a brotha feel cold heat as if it's fate
and as my brothas always seem to die
my race got another reason to cry
little niggas is our only men
no more elders in my dearest black kin

Now we got kids runnin da street
that means, the judge and jury da heat
the boys in blue pilein up da dead
crackas in th oval office shakein da head
the ghettos so lost can we find a way
it seem's that the only hope we got is to pray
and children already learn how god do
give to those who take so we take with a 22
now we gotta cope, sippin' on brew
gettin faded thinkin bout the dirt we do
and that just make a brotha think
why we be born livin on da brink
seein bodies fallin fast in packs
cause it be like we forced to fire back
so thelast thing is to put bodies in bags
at da funeral drapin our brothas with rags

Bye, Bye Soccer!

Soccer is done and gone away,
The little children look forward
to the games everyday,
Bye, Bye, Soccer,
Bye, Bye Foreigners,
Bye, Bye to the noise makers
that try to scare 'em,

The joy and explosive enthusiasm
have subsided,
What will the children do to create
excitement?
Will they run in the street chasing
a ball?
Or will they go shopping in the mall?

If there is no mall,
What will they do?
Kick about an ole shoe?

Soccer is done and gone away,
The children pray for the celebrities
to come back everyday,

Now that soccer is long gone,
They will make up games to play,
Bye, bye soccer,
Hope you come again another day........

Together.. We Are One (Revised)

(Verse 1)
I’ve got this new feeling deep within
I hear a chorus of angels singing my name
There’s an energy rising from my heart
Look at my hands their starting to glow

(Bridge)
With a deep breath colors I now see
A message to stand proud stand tall
got this electrical current flowing through me
my brothers and sisters take my hand

(Chorus)
Together.. We are one
Listen to the children peace and love in their heart
Together.. We are one
Listen to the children peace and love in their heart

(Verse 2)
Time is here time is now
Spread your hands across the land
Reach out to your fellow man
Embrace the power of your inner light

(Bridge)
Old will feel young just like children
Its time to teach that anger is not the way
This program of control has got to go
New policy this is the age of a new light

(Chorus x2)
Together.. We are one
Listen to the children peace and love in their heart
Together.. We are one
Listen to the children peace and love in their heart

So, You Want To Be a Writer

"So, You Want to Be a Writer?" is a children's song, sung to the tune of "Oh, My
Darling Clementine".

So, you want to be a writer
But you're not sure where to start?
Grab a pencil and some paper
And write down what's in your heart!

Bonus activity: Explain to children what that "inner voice" is...that voice that says
things like "Mom's gonna' be so mad when she sees this report card!" or "I'll be so
disappointed if I don't win the spelling bee." The inner voice is pure and
unedited...all you need to do is capture it and write it down. Give children a pencil
and some paper and have them go someplace quiet (their room, the backyard, the
library). Instruct them to listen to that inner voice and simply write down what it
says. When they are finished, tell children they've made a journal entry and that
journal entries can be highly prized. Many authors publish their journal entries.
Journal entries should be saved, as they can later be turned into poems or stories,
like "D-Day: The Day I Brought Home My Fourth Grade Report Card".

Hawaii

"Hawaii" is a children's song, sung to the tune of "The Battle Hymn of the Republic".

Hawaii is a group of islands formed by volcanic activity.
Honolulu is Hawaii's capital city.
In 1959, Hawaii became America's 50th state.
It's tropical climate and tranquil waters make Hawaii great!

Bonus activity: Explain to children that, in spite of its beautiful beaches, Hawaii is
home to Kilauea, the world's most active volcano. Ask children if they would enjoy
living in Hawaii. Why or why not?

Barbie Doll Christmas

lights is a beautiful sight
music in the air , no has forgotten you've been there.
laughter of the children smiles upon their faces, little cars and barbie doll cases,
watching as little boys and girls began to pace,
lace and ribbons every where, pretty paper , even cut into squares,
smiles and song , paper and ribbon ,
knowing so many people have given
laying wake in their bed , dreams of candy canes in their heads
little ginger bread houses , in their visions, there;re to
little to make their decisions, christmas stocking hanging ,
around the tree, on christmas morning little children on their knees
smiles and laughter , giggles and song , make their world get alone.

My Song of Sorrow Part 1

"MY SONG OF SORROW"part 1'
I sing to you my song of sorrow
A song from my bittered-heart
To call your consent to solemn-meeting
Tears rolled down my face
Like when the sky is profusely-cryin g
I wailed till my very physical-eyes saw nothing
It was so great that I bathe inmy tears
Its just for you,
-You the children of end time!
In thy presence faith and church are dying
And the kingdom race is less-running
Those who stand among you to run are falling
-and those who hath fallen are dying
The more the heaven is getting near
The less you're striving to enter
O children of end time!
You seek after girl-friend & boy-friend
-till you're completely lost in lust
You clothe thyself with the garment of wickedness
You bring thy arrogance-shoul ders-up against your parents
I wailed for you,
-Only God knows if I would stop wailing
Your hair-style is like the hair of a goat
-when he arose in his anger
You kill the cities with the slangs of thy mouths
The slangs like ancient-incanta tions
All in the name of "swagger"
I blow for you now the flute of salvation
Because days, months and years are like an uprooted-flower
When sun-set, it withers
Repent now before you sleepbeneath the sand

Silly Song of Life

Sing a Song of Misery
I’ve carried through my life,
not relieved by living with
my children or my wife.
My children cost me money,
and my wife just nags at me.
Hear my song of misery,
when will life set me free?

Sing a Song of Happiness
Oh, such a lovely life,
in sharing precious moments with
my children and my wife.
My children keep my spirit young,
my wife's love feeds my soul.
Listen to the melodies
that fill life's precious bowl.

Sing a Silly Song of Life,
it's you who plays the tune.
It's you who writes the lyrics
and decides the way you croon.
For life's the same for everyone,
it's just the path you choose.
It's you who makes it Rock and Roll
or fills it full of Blues.

The wife, the kids and everyone
you meet along the way
will have to share to some degree,
in how you choose to play.
Are you the music to their ears
or chains around their heart.
It's you who makes the world go round,
how do you play your part?

Be Their Santa On This Christmas' Night

All the letters that the kids
have sent to the North Pole...
have been stolen by a grinch,
who hates the Christmas' spirit
since he heard the first carol;
can they be without any gifts?

O silent and uncheerful man,
be their Santa on this Christmas' night;
if all have forgotten you, don't be like them;
your kind and sad eyes need love to share!
O silent and uncheerful man,
sitting on that bench of the empty park,
don't look away...those children wait
and hope for a miracle to happen tonight!

I'll get your red and white suit,
four reindeers and a shiny sleight;
it's my gift for your sadness:
the sweet comfort for your loneliness!
I'll get all the presents they like,
so that they can smile and realize:
that Santa always keeps his Christmas' promise...
when everybody else simply tosses them aside!

O silent and uncheerful man,
leave this corner for others to take...
you have a mission that'll make you great!
Be their Santa on this Christmas' night;
these children hold their thrill inside...
'till they see whom they really believe in!

The Proud Children of the Heroes

Quite a few years have gone by...
like a lightening across a stormy sky,
but in their grieving hearts,so serene and bold,
there's the sympathy of the whole world!

Look at the proud children of the heroes...
those who turned tragedy into a test of faith:
remembering their loved ones
who selflessly saved countless lives...
while fighting the relentless flames;
read their sad thoughts...stripped of all hate!

Look at the proud children of the heroes...
whispering their bitter-sweet prayers
to the kind souls that sacrificed much,
so that their dream would continue throught them!

The years will change their faces with grim,
but not the deep love they have for them;
and they are willing to risk it all,
if destiny decides for them to be so!
