Best Snivelling Poems
I saw you crying, next to the bubbling brook..
Taken again, eh? You really are a shnook!
Trusting new friends, my, you are dumb!
You have less brains than a fat, ripe plum
People are on the take, when will you get it?
No wonder, lost soul, you are in the pits.
Poetry is absolutely no place for you.
False words are daily fare, here, too.
Welcome to a world of trophies and disguises.
You are dense, seeking friendship in prizes?
When will you stop believing?
This is but a game of words, deceiving.
I know you will write your truth again.
Just like a no-brains, rattled old hen.

Ivor is a bastard,
he’s been through thick and thin.
But everywhere that Ivor’s been
disaster follows him.
He got a job in Warrington
to run a bunch of lads.
A groaning mass of humankind
with problems unsurpassed.
They felt their world was crumbling down,
their life was torn apart.
(He wondered why they worked for us,
the snivelling little farts).
He washed them and he dressed them
and pampered every need.
They replied by moaning more
so Ivor then got peed.
He said “I’m bloody fed up
with the way that you lot play,
The only time you’re ever pleased
is on your holiday”.
Then he brought in measures
to change the way it’d been.
And sacked the whining so and so’s
and had a good spring clean.
Now there’s people work in Warrington
that are happy through the day.
They work hard and laugh a lot
......Ivor likes it best that way!

Is there a humour therapist in the house?
Sitting here, chortling, do not grouse,
If you abuse crumpets, men,
You undermine your own best interests, do you ken?
Then you don't get crumpet, men,
Or is men a rude word,
You're reaping what you've earned,
You want a cup of tea from me?
Chortle, the magic word is please!
You would not believe this ham,
Feeding the world this spam,
You want fresh vegetables?
Frozen food, not dementiable,
You can get another better than me,
So, what's wrong with you, prithee,
Yes, the catering staff is on a sitdown strike,
You'd best find yourself a loving wife,
Chortle, shut up snivelling, you grouse,
Is there a humour therapist in the house?
I have a still snivelling mirror
From the silk-cotton tree
But can that take the stabbing cowries
From my heavy,swollen foot?
I am in the dark the naked she-goat
Panting over flying stones.
I must eat washings of my half-thread
Sudden cut by Atropos;
I must return to almost forsaken ploughs
A balding soot by my wake
Amidst flying tongues of dagger and malice;
Poor manacle must watch armour-less
As malignant rats dart in mottled errands,
Breaking the last walls-the fields, and then
I must rove naked in the inky sky
And then sit under the cypress,
Chewing my fingers-ever.
How sudden the icy embrace
O that I had caught with you the ambulance crest.
Once together, now apart,
Harden your heart,
To me, don't come snivelling back,
I don't cut your terms of endearment any slack,
Let's not reunite,
I still sleep with a light,
Once together, now apart,
Nothing colder than an ex-wife's heart!!!!
She wouldn’t stand no nonsense, she wouldn’t take no bull
She wouldn’t pull no punches, she would tell me – warts and all
She really was a true, true friend in every sense of the word
Always there in times of need, not pushing to be heard
For over 40 years now, I’ve loved my Wise Owl Friend
Even tho’ there have been times she’s driven me round the bend!
When the chips were down, when I needed to heal
She would always be there, knowing how I would feel
We would sit and discuss, put the world to rights
Or just listen to music on many a night
She with her book, me with the telly
Then out would come a comment that would really shake your belly
She made me smile so often, now I know she will be cross
Because I cannot help my crying for she is an enormous loss
She will tell me to just stop snivelling and get on with my life
But who will I pick up the phone to when there are times of strife
I’ll never forget, I’ll miss her so much
She told it like it is but with a real human touch.
Fly high my Wise Owl – see you up there!
What a fool, you were, taken for a ride!
It’s a lesson to learn, protect your own hide.
They had great a time, using your emotions.
Grow up, make absolutely no commotions.
God has a new friend, already on their way.
Stop snivelling, get on your knees and pray!
So, if they did this to you, smile, you are blessed.
A friend never jumps on your soul, do not be stressed.
You write their namss, put it in the Book of Psalms!
May God grant you peace, and protection from harm.
I wish you love!

Remember me in my memories,
I feel no resemblance yet I stem from these. These parasites upon the land. Refusing to elevate, hand in hand.
As the ocean melts into the sand, so I stand, on this path sword in hand. I battle my foes and share my prose and follow Your guiding light. I will send back the darkness and become master of the night.
These words are only possible, if I am One with Me. Otherwise there would be traits attached, of personality.
This reality is so fickle that it trembles under my gaze. I am the essence that I feel, I am the receiver of my praise.
i am the hole which I dig, a worthless snivelling pig. I am the butterfly upon escape, from the cocoon of its fate. I am the crocodile and the carcass that it eats.
I am the carpenter, the protection on my feet. I stand alone sometimes, sometimes I stand with all. The only thing that is certain, with Me, I will never fall.
Ground pregnant with wetness,
the two lone trees stood in the walled compound,
on three sides there were walls,
on the other ran a drain,
a fetid mosquito ridden drain,
not much in width,
but so intense,
that odor competed with any far away incense,
a little distance from enclosure,
train lanes ran haywire,
the area was abandoned,
and very badly used,
all residents around there,
within a mile and more,
came and threw garbage,
and used it as dustbin,
drain and garbage drew civil pigs around,
I saw a trio of them,
snivelling the dirtiest,
and shovelling into them,
they had grown and gathered fat,
and were in pink of health,
the drain and its fertiliser,
also kept tress flushed,
there green,
had the sun quite hushed,
in that densely populated mile,
where man killed man,
for an inch of ground,
here was substantial land,
that was inhabited by three pigs,
and two trees,
which made it their stand.
Banished for years
I found myself wandering around on a sacred land
away from my normal life
I found sanctuary and peace in a unknown place
the stiff pacification allowed me to hear the
second hand stroke on the clock
everyday as the calignosity approached I would feel
a alacritous breeze on my right shoulder blade
without indecisiveness I continued to enjoy myself
turbulent and exasperated paying little attention to
the paranormal activity surrounding me
until a horde of banshees swarmed me
I had no idea what commenced this fright
my legs and feet were benumbed
I started to believe I didn’t belong in this place anymore
After being forthrightly besieged
almost sure that these incorporeal beings
wouldn’t understand my chronic vagabondage
It was time to migrate I was typhlotic to the fact
that it was an invisible mansion
where a shipwreck caused their souls to be buried their some even alive
I can hear the never ending snivelling in the dead of the night
penetrateing their voices into my ears
trying to abscond I became convulsed
the strange breeze brushed my shoulder blade again
only this time it stayed “what do you want?”
I asked the strange cadaverous speckle flash
it flashed at the entry walk way showing me an invisible door
that I had walked into a haunted invisible mansion
and could not get out until they released me
my eyes instantly became blood shot red
furious and rampageous I tried to run away but was pushed
to and fro by an unseen force was I indeed trapped in another dimension
I asked myself without skepticism I was ambushed
Sneaky snivelling dog,
Creeping around for gain,
Snatching whatever comes close,
No understanding of pain.
The pain that other things suffer,
The agony of dying for real,
I hope you never do realise,
Or empathise, notice, or feel.
But never forget the family,
The pull to provide for the young,
It changes every perspective,
The hyenas howl must be sung.
A mole was looking out for worms by digging underground
Suddenly the soil ran out and he was digging sand
Then all at once his ears picked up a scared whimpering sound
And when he saw two eyeballs he said do you need a hand
The eyeballs blinked and then its beak let out a little sigh
It said there is a man from who I hid for I can’t fly
The mole said stop your snivelling, you have to be ‘The Guy’
And yet your head is underground, your bum‘s up in the sky
So take your head out of the sand and get out of my lair
The ostrich said the man is setting lots of traps up there
The mole just laughed and chided him, don’t mess your underwear
He won’t be hunting ostriches so you don’t need to care
The ostrich grizzled please make sure that he’s not coming back
The mole said look fear in the eye when it lands in your lap
I’m gonna go another way so please don’t trip a trap
And when his foot trod on a flap his final word was ‘CR...!’
• Snivelling spineless rat!
• Show yourself like a man
• Pull up your big boy pants
• And bring back my van!
