Premium Member A Shout Into the Void
Upon the arc rises familiar visage of tenebrous dawn
As birdsongs protest, yet another day gone wrong,
In anguish of emptiness thrashing~ stygian, forlorn,
Screaming relentlessly of despondent, indignant void
Blasting his emotions, clasped in poignant thoughts.

Nothingness was the theme of his darkened night
That brazenly shrouded luminance of starlit...

Premium Member The Shout Whisperer
As I climbed up the ladder backwards
I somehow ended up at the bottom
I whispered in the ear of summer
until she turned into autumn

When my mirror revealed smooth skin
All I could feel was every rough crack
As I moved intently towards the front
I was surprised to find...

Scream and Shout
I wish this battle would end today
I’m so tired and really must say
That if you continue
To stress me out
I’m afraid there’s more I can do
Than simply just shout
You say I drive you crazy
And you don’t know why
That I must scream, yell and cry
Well just once
You...

Shout the Winds
Clear below the sea
Clear beyond the sea
it fished across the pond.
You don't have to name it, but call it Ava Lu.
It is my kind, the shore is blue.
Happened this and happened that
It went over to shout the wind......

Looking Out - My Shout Out
There was a time that we could see
Everything that we could be
You therefore look after me
And I will then take care of you
We though need to look after each other
Brothers, sisters and the others
Hope your wishes all come true
As I am looking out for you
And...

Premium Member I Understand I Shout From the Sky Whilst Spinning
As I teeter, I push myself sometimes
Stand on a different ledge
Check my balance
Today white knuckle rides
I'd stopped going on them
So I went on them
You can check your own influence on a potential unpleasant situation
It's interesting (apparently not poetic, I'll keep at it)
My jaw...

Premium Member Shout 'Foreplay'
I learned to golf the following way;
That after each stroke you shout, ‘foreplay!’
Then when you get up
You shoot for the cup,
And if asked give an instant replay.

If You'Re a Witness Shout Out
Give God all the credit and all of the praise
For all that He's done for you during your hectic days
And if you're a witness to His miraculous deeds you need to shout out
So that your praise and worship of Him is never in doubt
No matter...

Lawd, Ah'M Too Tired To Shout
by Carolyn V. Crawford AKA Rachel Dunkerque

Evalina, Evalina,
Won't you come on and shout!
You didn't come up to Heaven
To sit down and pout.

AH KIN POUT EF AH WANNA, LAWD
AH'M TOO TIRED TO SHOUT.

AH'M JES TOO TIRED TO SHOUT.

But you ought to...

Premium Member Shout
“Big”, it is a funny word, it’s loaded with triggers,
And can make you feel every emotion.
If you’re told “Hey, you look big”, you might overthink,
Collapsing in an implosion.
People might say you’ve “big” arms, “big” thighs, or
“big” ears, nose, mouth or “big” eyes.
Not getting...

Poetry Soup is THE place to hang out
If you're looking for a place to twist and shout

Just let go of the reigns
Jump in with both feet and splash about

A LOOK CAN WHISPER OR SHOUT ITS ARRIVAL
Once spent there's no retreat or denial
     Be careful to show
     Emotions that grow
Into notions that could threaten survival

Silence's Shout
Silence’s Shout

My bones are poisoned by the thirsty soul
Darkness is added for the busy mind covered by the emptiness
Soak by choke to inhale the breath
Silence alarms the quietness to explode
Lifting my spirit to create chaos
But the conscience counts the beat of my veins every...
