Premium Member We Dance

We dance with desire; we dance with dislike.
As human beings, we all are alike.
Flames of desire will always leap higher.
We dance with dislike; we dance with desire.

If desire is lust, we must slow the dance.
Slow to a stop; self-restraint give a chance!
Learn not to tango with what we can’t trust.
We must slow the dance if desire is lust.

We allemande right; we allemande left.
We must learn to move with steps that are deft
and dance for good things that bring great delight.
We allemande left; we allemande right.

While dancing each day, try moves that are new.
Practice through life how the spirit moves you.
Choose partners wisely with whom you will sway.
Try moves that are new while dancing each day.

Let dance stir the soul. Be moved by sweet grace.
Dance not with aversion. Smooth moves embrace!
The rhythm of body with spirit control.
Be moved by sweet grace. Let dance stir the soul.

Premium Member Poetry Is Like Puzzles

Poetry is like puzzles or paint
coming together a bit at a time;
The design bold or sometimes faint;

Often requiring self restraint
it’s such a tall mountain to climb;
Poetry is like puzzles or paint;

Never interested in playing it straight;
From the softest pink to neon lime
the design bold or sometimes faint;

Prose like a picture must be traced,
blended with soul, rhythm, and rhyme;
Poetry is like puzzles or paint;

With this box of crayons you translate
your demons into something sublime;
The design bold or sometimes faint;

Imagination the fundamental trait,
like the base coat it will prime;
Poetry is like puzzles or paint,
the design bold or sometimes faint.

Cycles of Life

Times such as these test body soul and mind
So should our thoughts be pain and dark confined
Or loosed to concentrate on brighter things
Like furry puppies, flowers and girls on swings

In this bright morning sun as I roved out
Past village houses waking to their day
With little gardens, blossoms all about
As all across this England’s pleasant brae

In scepticism native to my heart
With self restraint on humour that’s sardonic
Ever seeking inspiration to my art
I crossed heath margin gloomy and achromic

Then onward later passing black swamp marsh
Of putrid mud and roots round dead stumps curled
As sunlight penetrated tree top arch
I found myself in new and magic world

Tread higher then, along the wooded track
The earth grew ever brighter to my eye
The canopy now thin, then folded back
Til nothing seemed above me, only sky

A single buzzard circled in the blue
Then as my eye adjusted, were revealed
Another, then Red Kites made patterns
new
With searching eyes they scanned the sunlit field

In echelon of helix high then higher
More birds soared in great three dimensioned bowl
In choreographed flight dance; did they require
Direction by divine traffic control?

All Carnivores! life based upon life cycle
Thus nature’s way is seen in rhythm born
Seasons and the land each follow pattern tidal
(These barrows once stood bare in sand dune form)

In crisis deep we face a time of trial
Could nature’s message give a way to vow
Whether raged against or treating with denial
All cycles shall complete; as then - so now

Love Affair

Gentle fingers brush my face
Followed by a loving embrace
Soft kisses caress my lips
As my self restraint soon slips
Following my clothing to the floor
At the nervous expectations
Of your initiations
My body no longer standing
Your actions becoming more demanding
Touching and taunting
Each sensation haunting
Causing my limbs to quiver
As even you begin to shiver
Soon spreading open my legs
For the part of you that begs
Gasping at the firm heat
My fingers grip the sheet
Your muscles growing tight
As the sensations reach their height
Creating verbal elations
Of our passionate demonstrations
Through which time stops
As the weight of your body drops
Making us flesh to flesh
A sweaty sighing mesh
Leaving only our eyes to meet
The event so complete
While you whisper in my ear
Words of love so sincere
That finally we fall to rest
Your arms around me, my head on your chest

Premium Member W-I Carry the Yoga Safely- Yoga Kchhamam Vahamyaham

Yoga, a Sanskrit word, an abstract noun meaning oneness
It points to the meeting of soul and the Absolute or Godhood
To attain this oneness one has to go through eight stages.

Five kinds of mental anguish associated with ignorance
Ego, attachment, hatred, and fear of death to be discarded
The way is to practice yoga and total renunciation.

Renunciation is to do away with all thoughts and desires
That arises out of direct perception or indirect knowledge
The practice to perfect renunciation is Ashtanga Yoga

There are eight stages of this Ashtanga Yoga of Patanjali
Yama-moral codes of behavior, Niyama- self-restraint
Asana-physical postures, Pranayam-breathe control.

Pratyahara-sense control, Dharana-concentration
Dhyana-meditation, Samadhi-absorb in thought-free trance.
To attain final *Samadhi, the Sage Patanjali advises God’s help.

If one overlooks the first two stages of Yama and Niyama
It is a wonderful exercise of the body and the mind
Hope for the heaven but at least you will reach the clouds

**Yog kchhamam Vahamyaham- the Sanskrit phrase meaning I carry the Yoga safely

which is the sum-total of the Yog in Hindu Scriptures

The word yoga is derived from the Sanskrit for "plow," which is also the source for the
word "yoke" -- which joins the oxen and the plow. From the spiritual point of view, yoga
means "union with God."

*Complete absorption in thought-free trance

Of Offices and Orifices

Sordid tales your eyebrows tell
Insinuations start to sing
Things we all know very well--
Say, did you miss my wedding ring?

You’d do you worst right here and now
A stealthy drink from your chalice
Want me to forget the wedding vows,
A mechanical bull with phallus?

Pursing your lips, parading your hips
All the while, I’m stifling quiet laughter
As if your fries and shake could eclipse
My seven course happily ever after!

Coworkers of giant ego
And undersized self-restraint
Have fallen prey to your libido
Flushed it all to taste your taint

But see, here’s the baseline reality
About my availability you’re mistaken
Unless my wife’s nonexistent bisexuality
You can magically awaken

Sure, maybe you can be a roast turkey slice
Between our marital sandwich bread
Or our fresh sushi covered in rice--
I shouldn’t joke; now you’re being misled…

But seriously, there’s nothing to discuss
What you’re implying just ain’t happening
Further coquetry is simply superfluous
Back to the regularly scheduled programming

And in closing, here’s what I’d do
If you’re looking for lifestyle enhancement
Instead of looking for married men to woo
Perhaps try some legit career advancement.

Beneath that frame you wear so well,
a sinner or a saint?
A simmering of lust I smell
within your self-restraint.

It won’t be too much longer now;
The hunger’s in your eyes.
I feel it on your fevered brow;
I hear it in your sighs.

You can’t survive my full assault.
You’re losing your facade.
It’s coming down. It’s not my fault.
You’ll see you’ve been a fraud.

For underneath that skin, you burn,
and soon you will be mine.
Before this night is through, you’ll learn
that burning is divine.

Take a Number

(Self Control)

Smiling faces, I have seen a few
Biting my back with words untrue…
Shot calling, big balling, what next
I am still surviving as you continue to test.
Say you’re hopping mad, how unfortunate;
My blood should be boiling now, but instead
I remain as cool as a cucumber… Holding up my head
You still taunt and agitate wanting to rumble,
I hope that is not all you have,
for I would hate to see you tumble.
Nor, have I desire to fumble;
I am trying to remain humble…
You see I have my eye on the prize
This should come to you as no surprise.
Still want a piece of me, then friend take a number…

Natures Miracles *****Sapiens Never Measured

Ground trembled
Houses fell, city mangled
Loss and Chaos bull having free run

Many deaths, overnight many born as new orphan
On Ritchers scale, quake measured by *****Sapien

Human destroying Nature on big scale
Natures Tit Tat tale
Wail trail

Global Warming bleeds
Mercury soaring day and night
Nature breached
Humans shall burn, just not sweat
Human Ash in Earth's Oven

Measured Calamity, Natures miracles *****Sapiens never measured
Sunrise, lunar phases, twinkling stars
Blood, pregnancy, katabolism, photosynthesis, cell construction
Jungle, river, valley, mountain, Natures miracles umpteen

Apathy abound, none thinks altruistically about natural restoration
Reduce Mining, Deforestation, Pollution, Reclamation,
Measured Calamity, Natures miracles *****Sapiens never measured
Forgetting Natures havoc is triggered by human havoc causing Nature’s scars

Self-restraint is way to halt Natures destruction
Go green, lessen carbon emission
Save Earth, conserve Nature should be everyone’s mission
Ritcher’s Scale may not be needed, if human increases organic consumption
Measured Calamity, Natures miracles *****Sapiens never measured

A Moment of Clarity

He had already said it as those words came from deep down inside
Knowing just how hard they would hit in it all being about his pride
And quickly he had much regret in realizing what such words will do
Those words have now been set yet knowing that they aren't true

And as he then took a deep sigh the words themselves suddenly froze
As in the air his words would lie as the anger from within them glows
There, just before her attentive ear as she just stands frozen in space
And one thing now became very clear as this was an act of God's Grace

He quickly batted all those words away smashing them against the floor
Never would she hear the words he would say for they were no more
Then just like that life would resume as she waited for him to respond
With that, his heart now had room knowing how important is that bond

But that isn't how it goes as what has been said can never be taken back
And afterward everyone knows such self restraint that they so often lack
Better off to just walk away at least until your own anger can dissipate
Because you can't retrieve the words you say in forever carrying weight

Time Traveler

mourning death
                       in between breaths

       pretending
                      her entity
                               did never gather
       around my path

       my sentinal road
                     of following mist
                     of cancerous cloves,

        and
                      treasure troves
                      of pre - drunken groves

on the first night we kissed...

        Viewing 12 Monkeys
                     thinking of you
of
        an alternate ending
        before all the blue,

        Inside a new dimension
                     of cubist psychotic delusion,

         Inside this fight for flight

         away from earthly alcohol infusion...

         Creating Art without
                   prior knowledge
                                   or purpose,

          hand moving paint
                   without self - restraint,

          messages within dreams
                   wherein I've written full scripts

                    by working in alternate shifts:

"I want to be a whole person again

I want to stay in this time, with you"

A Shadow of the Former You

The paranoia you caused me triggered a change in my character my personality adapted to certain ways that weren't planned for and when challenged I latched on which created imbalancement with a chain reaction generating new clear embarrassment
Im channeling this energy you tried to erase taking the brace off the back that has carried it's weight
Im removing the scaffolding that's stood there in place establishing strength that stabalised the breakages we happened to face
While crafting our fate creating our demise manufacturing frames of mind causing brain damage and shakes and when I rewind it reminds me not get at it again I had some self restraint then when in that fragile state I backed away swearing I would never go back again
That's how I can stand here today explaining some issues because I love to hate you and f#**ing hate to miss you
Doesn't mean I wanna kiss you I ain't reconsidering distance because there isn't a chance of rekindling our spirits I'm just clearing up a few things like the source of interference after a years worth of disconnection because I don't wanna a see a fool in the mirror when I look at my reflection

Learning Friendship Upon Todays Society

Everyone around me is so down in mood,
Not a single smile to shine through,
Everyone in hand has an electronic tool
 Is that the new rule?

Thinking talking has been erased,
And replaced.
Not knowing the joy of distress-
When in happiness.
While using the voice to talk
 While on a walk.
Laugh at each other's little jokes,
Have a bit of fun it doesn't hurt!

See that stranger opposite you,
Go start a conversation,
It doesn't have to be considered as flirtation.
You may receive admiration,
Maybe all this was written as a
 'Meant to be' notation.
You may never know
Unless you act in this Situation.

Unless you keep your mind wide awake,
You will might your heart quite vague.
Just like everybody else’s,
Who is in the same placement...
Think they have a complacent.
And uneven sense of consent,
For a brand new
Knowledge attachment.

 Set that target to yourself,
Keep a smile on your face.
Anyone you see on the road that looks they're alone,
 Experiment and say hello.
If they choose to ignore,
 Go ahead and move on.
 Not with sadness mode on,
But with happy mood all along.

Cheer up! The world is isn’t against you,
There will be people to respect you,
 Don’t expect a quick connect.
 Look into the prospect
Keep Self-restraint,
In the end it will all take effect.

Inferiority Complex As a Kid and Adult

Inferiority Complex As A Kid And Adult!

I recall father, (now behold
at near ninety years old - maintains stronghold
on life, cuz born of sturdy mettle -
rumor claims bullion – ne'er did buckle nar fold
meaning bull + lion rolled
together and processed

April 9th, nineteen twenty nine),
fortune teller foretold
envious longevity, perhaps
just shy of eternity
older than anyone polled
occasionally got a bit

short tempered as patriarch
( ~6'2” ~ 200 lbs at prime)
over any five members of Harris household
with me, and timid, meek,
and fawning did scold,
and mother, (who passed away

after completing seventy plus orbits, all told,
sans November 13th, nineteen thirty five),
no matter both parents (more mom)
did abhor applying stronghold
tactics vis a vis corporal punishment,
though the late Harriet Harris, not so gold

din as totally carefree disciplinarian
confessed many moons ex post facto lost hold
of her appreciable tolerance,
than quickly crumbled like broken scaffold
after she spanked this monkey upon bony posterior
(an endearment, but NOT spanking

ever since mama did withhold
though kept pet name, which
ideally suited me as a little boy),
both her hands went limp and cold
apology immediately iterated,
cuz she felt mortified, and sold

reparation with self restraint
against further instances tubby brazenly bold
possibly contributed,
fostered, and inculcated mold
ding mine shy characteristic.

Me, this twangy nasal kid
(courtesy of split uvula we did
discover rather a speech pathologist
six grade minor congenital defect

i.e., submucous cleft palate), aforesaid
I experienced interminable
relentlessly psyche burning acrid
tormenting, teasing, and talking funny

this vulnerability compounded amid
my undersized and socially withdrawn demeanor
whereby every day akin getting scorched
by some "NON FAKE" ironclad grid!
