Premium Member Not Satisfied With Crumbs

I will NOT be satisfied with the crumbs
That fall from your banquet table of love
I’m here to have a gluttonous feast
Don’t….Don’t insult me with tiny morsels
You throw my way
To entice?
To tease?
To...appease???

I’m to sit at the head of the table
My rightful place
And eat and drink to my fill
To satiation’s upper limit
My heart and soul, YES, my BODY nourished
S A T S F I E D
With the eclectic fare of delicacies
You serve
For is that not
The kind of feast
You are used to having from me?

I slave away for days on end
To prepare and offer to you, my King
The most scrumptious repast
And you leave MY banquet table
With the decadent savor
Of my sweetness in your mouth

No, this will not do
Until you tempt my appetite
With the fairest of delights
Don’t you dare think
That these mere crumbs will do

Premium Member Never Satisfied

Younger wanting to be older
Older wanting to be young
Child wishing to be bigger
Bigger wishing to be thinner

Teen wanting a clearer face
Clearer face wanting a better body
People lamenting bad hair days
Bad hair days replaced with no hair days. . .

We diss what we have
Wish for what we lack
When what we have is gone
Oh, what we'd give to have it back!

Youthful desires for future yearning
Future bearing down like a train
Elders' memories of past unnerving
Hit by a train never the same

I held out my hand
I lent an ear
Then I realized
He was comfortable
Almost happy
Sitting alone
Zen-like
In his misery

Premium Member We'Re Never Satisfied

Oft times, as we near trail's end,
We discover that we've used up our days,
Just chasing wind through the trees.

Exploring our "what ifs" of life trend,
Always glinting hinder as if through a haze,
Thoughts that time seemed to freeze.

Only then, with lesser days to spend,
Is psyche surrendered to much malaise,
On finding trees gone and wind a breeze.

You'Ll Never Win Being Satisfied In Sin

You'll never win being satisfied in sin.

If you don't want to win, I suggest

Strongly that you do it, do it, do it

'Til you're satisfied whatever it is.

Sin is sin it's all ugly in the sight of God.

So don't become self-righteous, point,

And shout out hee- hee when someone

Elses sin is displayed visibly. You'll never

Win soon your secret sin will be out

There on the hot block and hee- heeing

At you people won't stop. Sin is hard to

Stop being satisfied in but I know who

Helps: God. He did something odd in

Order to save us from it. He impregnated,

A virgin via the Holy Spirit so with sin,

The world will stop being satisified in it.

She was mistreated by the innkeeper

Because He had no earthly idea that

Her child was a keeper because he

Saw only what was on the inside but

God and others knew who this child

Was and many men traveled without

A car by the light of the little superstar.

Then this little child began performing

Miracles the first one performed at

A wedding but did not stop there.

He lived as a human without sin

And the world punished Him by

Crucifying Him. He died for our sins

Because He and the Father was

Not satisfied with it in men. He

Loved the world but the world

Did not love him because many

Could not see the star because

He did not come here rich. He

Came here at being the lowest

Of the low in the eyes of humans

But in His Father's eyes He was

Working with something fa show.

He came to let the world know

That you'll never win being satisfied

In sin. It won't work now and it

Didn't work then.

Aren'T You Satisfied

AREN'T YOU SATISFIED?

In peaceful you came
But started playing against us like a game
Religion and your culture were established
While our god and cultural practices were discouraged

You started ruling us in our own land
Forcing us to dance your unwanted band
Your demagogues broke our unity
Then people were sold by chiefs full of brutality

Brave Africans fought for independence
Only be victors of deaths of their innocence
We visualize Africa of freedom
And we manage to get our kingdom

Now peace has come again
But from it you want to gain
By your homosexual issues, aphrodisiacs, etc. we are mystified
Aren't you satisfied?

Eternally Grateful and Forever Satisfied With You

Why was I ever blessed by you?
You came to my life and you've been my rescue
Why did you love me when I couldn't love myself?
You died for me and saved me from hell
Why did you stand up for me when no one else would dare?
You really love me, and to this I will share
Why actually listen to me, when I ignored you in the past?
I know now your love is never ending-always it will last
Why help me, when others need it more?
I guess it's really true that I can open all doors
Why put up with all the burdens that I bring?
I kneel to you Jesus and it's your praises I will sing
Thank you Heavenly Father for giving me this life
And for sending your son so I could live in paradise

The Spider and the Pear-A Fable On Being Satisfied With What You Have

The Spider and the Pear-A Fable on Being Satisfied With What You Have

On a glorious new morning a daddy long-legged spider set out upon a new
journey searching high and low for a sweet to nibble. What she had in mind
was a mango, but settled on a nectarine. Clear in the distance she spotted the
tree that she would climb. She began her descent to reach the branch with the
juicy piece of fruit; her journey to find refreshment and energy to build a
masterful web. For what is a spider without a web. And how can a spider spin
without her nectar? As she almost reached her destination she spotted a more
appealing fruit. She saw it from way across the forest. There it was! A sight to
behold! A single pear! So the daddy long-legged turned her focus on another
piece of fruit.

What is the true meaning of this story?
All spiders must build a web and all spiders must have some nectar.
Keep your eyes on the number one piece of fruit and do not by distracted by
another. For today’s journey is set in stone, BUT TOMORROW IS ALSO A BIG
BEAUTIFUL PEAR!

KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE PRIZE AND NEVER LET ANYONE STEAL YOUR
CROWN OF GLORY.

Premium Member We Feel Satisfied

Oh My,
How Sweet You Look,
Eating The Lovely Things I've Grown,
In My Bountiful Garden,

The Sweat On My Brow Stings My Eyes,
As The Sun Warms My Petulance,
Your Little Mouth Nibbles,
Swallowing The Labors Of My Efforts,

I Pause For A Moment,
I Swallow The Grain Of Salt,
That Seasons The Sweat On My Lips,
I Smile,

I Realize,
How Satisfied,
We Both,
Must Feel,

After All,
Happiness,
Is Best Achieved,
In The Afterglow,

That Demanded We Do,
Our Very Best,
So My Little Friend,
To Us A Job Well Done!

Never Satisfied

I have seen men carved from stone
rising above the Black Hills,
I’ve seen ancient trees born back when
Ceaser still worked his will,
felt a thundering water pound down,
and from four Great Lakes drain,
I have known the prairie silence
that can mess up the brain,
I have seen a bright desert sun
that’s murder on the eyes,
I’ve seen so much in this great land,
but am not satisfied.

I have lain with Asian beauty,
traced touch along her curves,
and I have brawled with drunken foes
over something absurd,
I have toted nephews around
perched high upon my head,
with good friends I have painted towns,
they look better in red,
I’ve worked with people whom make sales
seem effortless, sublime,
learned much from all these folks I know,
yet I’m still not satisfied.

I’ve bashed-up on the broomball court
’till I can run on ice,
skied mountains faster than my car,
arced passage on the white,
ridden horses ten times my weight
and let them know who’s boss,
hiked along a thin cliff-edge path,
somehow made it across,
it seems that almost everything
I am willing to try,
but victory fades oh-so-quick
and I’m not satisfied.

I have read classics quiet profound,
Montaigne and Adam Smith,
earned myself an advanced degree
despite profs quite leftist,
in dorms I’ve stayed up half the night,
argued philosophy,
I’ve called out politicians’ crap
pretty much constantly,
critiqued the deep corrosiveness
of media and their lies,
I’ve read more books than I can count,
I’m still not satisfied.

Though more and more I realize
this might be a good thing,
if people ever were content
then they would stop pushing,
satisfied with just what they have,
their tech, their jobs, their mind,
they’d never trek that extra mile,
to discover and find,
that would just be a slow decay
until the day I died,
the truth of it, I’m glad to say:
I’ll never be satisfied.
We’re not meant to be satisfied.

…we’d just get bored of it anyway.

Never Satisfied

When the weather is too hot
I hear people complain
Yet they are still not content
when there is too much rain
Some people can't enjoy a meal
If there is not meat
In some parts of the world
People have nothing to eat
The homeless have nowhere
To rest their weary head
While others can enjoy the
Comfort and warmth of a bed
Some people hardly have enough
Clothes to wear
While others have a closet full
With plenty to spare
Some people take it for granted
They can walk and go anywhere
While there are others less fortunate
Confined to a wheelchair
The rich have it in abundance
But yet they want more
The poor are always in want
They are so easy to ignore
People seldom count their blessings
Their wants are never satisfied
The little things that mean so much
Are always brushed aside
It's not about how much you have
But what you have is the important thing
Better to have a little and be satisfied
Than to live with troubles money can bring

Satisfied

My spirit is satisfied with with what it sees
Each day when I find myself to rise
For my soul and spirit rise in harmony
Within the beautiful emotions I feel inside

For what I find to embrace each morning
Brings my heart to sing a song of praise
To the One who has blessed me with the gift
Of the life breath He has passed my way

Serene are the many lovely thoughts
Which daily brings soft smiles alive
When I feel the embrace of my Gods love
As his presence fills all aspects of my life

Tranquil are the thoughts and daydreams
That soothingly enter into my mind
Like water finding its way to a stream
While nourishing my spirit deep inside

For my heart will always be truly satisfied
Each day as I awaken my eyes to You
Because I find it to be a priceless blessing
As I breathe again embracing a love so true.

What would you do if God has given you everything
and there is nothing He can do
Would you be glad or sad?
I don't know
One thing I want to know is why He takes too long
So when it's here, you don't even want it
Funny - human nature
We want it when we want it
If not, then we don't want it
I don't know what He is after
But I found I don't even trust Him now
Because I found I actually give up
Present tense
I give up because I found you cannot count on Him for anything
He does it when He does it
in His own time
Whatever and however He does it
No one knows
He just takes His own sweet time
And when He does it you don't even want it
Whatever
It's my griping for the day
But I am happy and mystified
Uncertain and worn
I won't be doing the guessing
anytime soon

Are We Never Satisfied ?........... Stop and Look Out Your Window !!!!!!!

When the weather is cold
we complain,
When the weather is hot
we complain,
It’s to windy !
I hear you say,
Theres not enough
breeze to dry my clothes today.

Why does it always
rain on my day off ?

Why does the sun always shine
when am at work ?

Can you remember snow,
My grandchildren say
’’what is snow ’’granny

Why are we never satisfied
when the sun shines
phew…...It’s to hot !

When the wind blows
brrrrrrrrr….It’s to cold !
Are we never satisfied.

Why don't we appreciate
what we get
We need the different
elements…...........

Look out of the window
see the beautiful colors
of trees and flowers.

Look at all the different shades
of green,

Our weather is what makes
England the green and
and pleasant land it is.
