Best Redbird Poems
female redbird lands
as lunar flower closes....
bugs drawn to nectar
Cardinals sang on the snowy branches,
So scarlet against the dark black night,
As the trees performed ghostly dances,
When the red planet Mars was in sight.
So scarlet against the dark black night,
The birds looked lovely under the moon,
When the red planet Mars was in sight,
And drifting to night's romantic tune!
The birds looked lovely under the moon,
The world was dreaming under clear skies,
And drifting to night's romantic tune,
And deep snows the landscape beautified.
The world was dreaming under clear skies,
As the trees performed ghostly dances,
And deep snows the landscape beautified,
Cardinals sang on the snowy branches.
redbird flight of noon
lavish burgundy on gold
off to anywhere
skies of September
are home to wandering ones
seas of flowers wave
restless late summer
getting ready for a fall
colored by autumn
feasting in the trees
redbird with traces of gold
in crimson sunset
the song is waiting
for a moonlight appearance
white rose drifting clouds
scarlet cherry hues
as mellow day is dying
flamingos dancing
jade frog is croaking
into a burgundy night
forest green tree bliss
The early bird's gone,
T. Rex was his name,
Ancestor of birds,
Of all hues and songs,
Quaint to imagine!
Hummingbirds gay,
Lost in the blooms,
Chatting macaws,
And wise old owls.
The pride of,
Yesterday,
Beauty lives,
In trees,
So green,
Now.
lackluster autumn
a little red bird coming
betrayed by the trees
tweeting and humming
this little red bird flying
from flowers to trees
