Best Rainy Season Poems

Rainy Season

The grasslands become glassy,
and I see the sky amidst green array.
Bracing the majestic sky,
The land looks so classy.

The flowers drenched in rain,
don the beautiful pearl dress;
Birds cross the banks of the river
through the rainbow bridge.

The alternate rings in puddle,
make the frogs cuddle;
The sudden change in weather,
gifts the nymphs, feathers.

The leaves of the lofty Palm trees,
embrace the raindrops after ages.
The sand of the perennial river,
nudges the water after a decade.

This picturesque rainy season,
reminisces the old memories,
where we were contented,
even with the paper boats.

The Rainy Season

Title of the poem: The rainy season
Poet: Mrs. Anjali Denandi(MOM)

Rain……..rain………..rain………….rainy-season…………
Oh! The little-girl! Dear! No tear!
Don’t cry!
Darling! Hi!
I shall gift you, the teddy-bear.
Rain……..rain………..rain………….rainy-season…………
The teen-ager! Hey! You, the lady!
Don’t cry! Stay steady, in mind and your own-body!
Aahhaa!..........Tragedy…………….!
You have lost your parent,
In clouds, for aero plane-accident;
………..recent……………
Rain……..rain………..rain………….rainy-season…………
Hello! The young! The woman!
Too- sad!........too…….too…………too……….
Nobody can………….
What can you do ?
Now, don’t cry! no tear………….
Just after marriage, of one-year; You have lost your husband, dear;
Forever, for the cancer;
It has no answer…………………
Rain……..rain………..rain………….rainy-season…………
The old life;
Once upon a time, then, you were the wife;
The mother;
The grand-mother;
Now your husband is in the heaven;
And your age is 77;
So, your daughter in law, son and grandson,
Send you in old age home; so, you, don’t cry !
Don’t feel alone! All are your own;
………..yet, they have no tear !.........shy………But, you try to understand! Try...try…try…………
Rain……..rain………..rain………….rainy-season…………
Your duty is creation……With great-emotion!...........Without any reason,
You gift the lives on the earth;
The new-lives take birth.
Green-trees are too-happy, for you!
They say, we love you, too….too….too…………!’

Premium Member Amazon In the Rainy Season

Two handsome toucans strut around on a branch today.
They are preening their feathers in that familiar male way.
Female toucans are flying around, pretending they are hard to get.
A spider flies by on a string of her own safety net.

Who are they enticing? Asks a leopard who gives a big yawn.
This frightens the undergrowth, wherein hides a fawn.
Amazon’s nature activity is peaking in this rainy season.
Without explanation, logic or any kind of reason.

RAINY SEASON

    Thunderbolts roar, gust thrusts, cloud melts, rain showers
     Plants bathe with branches, leaves, fruits and flowers.
    Splendid glistening greenery embowers.
                 Rainy season entering: However,
               Just confusing amusing muse of lover.

    Lightening flash reminds sweet blush on your face.
    You own unique elegance in populace.
    Jumble of wobbling thoughts, I could not voice.
              Rains flooded flowing river: However,
            Just confusing amusing muse of lover.

     Refused love blends in tears with ceaseless rains
     Lost love sighs over sorrowful remains.
     New love freshens, cheers, excites entertains.
               Sweet Heart! Waiting for you Dear: However,
              Just confusing amusing muse of lover.

Rainy Season

Cute little snails crept around
to put the baggage down
Earth worms penance finished
kissed the earth brown

Dark green frog croaked aloud
to embrace its fellow mate
Glossy mushrooms amidst the meadows
naughty Frog's umbrella

Rain drops adorned the grasses
pearls on the strings
reflected the high rise building
natural magnifiers

Indian paradise fly catcher
our regular rainy saviour
flew around our home
to catch dangerous flies

Arc angel rainbow appeared
Savvied the value of sun shine
still more things to relish
 the righteous rainy season

Cold Night

COLD NIGHT

The crescent moon in the sky,
The stars of the night,
Shone brightly down the earth,
As the wind finds its way into every space,
Causing the ground to be filled with withered leaves,
And the animals seek refuge in their abode.

On the lonely pathway I was,
Walking towards my house,
The wind became fierce,
As if angered by my presence outside,
It blew my hat away gluing it to a tree,
Terrified, I ran towards my house.

On my bed so tired,
I looked down and saw Caesar the puppy fast asleep,
The cold night has calmed its agile nerves down,
And caused it to slumber,
I thought about my hat on the tree,
And prayed for it to be safe.

The cold wind blew with all its might,
At last the rain came,
Its splashes seen on my windows,
My eyes thirsty for sleep,
So feeble they were,
Sang a lullaby and rode myself to dreamland.

Morning came,
I and Caesar ran to rescue my hat.

The Rainy Season

The thunder booms; the rain pours down.
The sky is steely gray;
But in the rainy season, well,
There's nothing more to say.

The beaches are deserted so
My bathing suit's unworn.
The souvenir shop vendors all
Look bored and quite forlorn.

I'm here to visit relatives
So I don't really care
But to tourists on vacation
All this rain does not seem fair.

Still, in nature everything, of course,
Has got to have a reason.
Thus, to balance out the sunshine
There must be a rainy season.

Poem: Rainy Season
Edited by: Sparkle Jordan

Falling rain
on my
bedroom
window
in early
May -

Looks
more like
teardrops
upon
my face -

Soon
 rainy season
will be
a distant
memory -

returning
once more
in
early
November -

Every year
at this time,
I  pause to
celebrate,

the rain
and
all
 the good
it brings -

But,
passionately,
sad to
say
it's late
May -

Farewell
to rainy
season,
as the
dark clouds
drifts away -

See you
next
year!

Come
early
November -

When rain
begins
to
fall -

Rainy Season

Every cloud has silver lining
And with stories all untold
From the far off ocean chambers
From the far off foggy fold
On the puffs of summer zephyr
Come they rowing then unfold

Oceans, rivulets, ponds and Rivers
In the deeps of heart they hold

Sea and desert, heath and temple
On the mounts of elves and fay
In the lanes and yards of Hamlet
Pours they in night and day
Moon and Sun in Nature's wonder
Therest hide and seek play

Ladies cook number of dishes
Kids they row their paper boats
In the lanes in yards of houses
Rowan Thou O tiny boats!
Shepherds to the sheds returning
With the herds of sheep and goats
Cuckoo singth in the Bower
Leaves in showers come afloat

Peasants in the rainy season
Gather they for a debate
 Nature's bounties, nature showers
Never under estimate
 Wells and motors no more needed
In a glee they calculate

For it they had prayed in temples
For it they in burning noons
Poured watery pails on elders
And then burn the dolls they own
Then all kids they gathered therest
Then they weep and wail in vain
As if they had offered present
 To  the bounteous heaven's Lord
Shower unto us thy showers
From the sea of Eden yard

While elders , for His mercy
Bowed to him in morn in noon
Distribute they Pots of rice
In the wish of rainy boon

Hindus, Muslims , Sikhs and Christan
Done this all in my Punjab

Oh the days of summer whispers!
Come from mist! O days of yore!
Days of age are days so weary
With the glee they are in war;

I'll see you, scented phantoms
Thou are silent in thy lane
Mango, jasmine, beechen, birches
Scented scented in the rain
Gulls as hermits in the water
Standing in unending lane

In the houses, in this weather
hottest hottest tea and fritters
Winsome coke in awesome weather
With the gossip, sips they take

Rainy weather, rainy season
In this way they celebrate

A Rainy Season

Whirling and tripping of clouds stilted
From polar-late to polar-early brimmed
Made travellers frowned with positive effects
And less frightening bodies but ghost;
And chasing cheers cheerfully to the roamers
Stern and becoming handy to paddle soil
Some sandy,loamy though ours is clay.

Planting darling grasses:each treads space another
With the sequence serenity serves by
Neither a weed wilderness from watching over by
And nor popping them out of the calmly weather
Builders and Carpenters expelled from the landscape with chemicals;
Brothers annuals weeds,while others
Crowd-less with biennials and off to perennials.

Loving still bounds till the lights comes
Yearly invites phantom to edge the elders
Sun rays coying clouds after miles
Before perennials upon to worth the sides
And later, pregnant tomb and stuffy,and radiance.
