Lacking

Lacking eloquence
Lector lacking

Bullfrogs and lemmings crooning
In the swamp of dim intellect
Spewing their haughtiness
Through their noses the spittle drops
Collecting in murky waters

Their stagnation hiding within their bubble of hate
When the swamp dries lest it be said
No one will be opening heavens gate
One can not persuade a mind painted in black
They the commoners’ collect like old dishes
On a dirty rack

Should the Cellarer ever turn his back
Plato’s will attack in their packs
Airs of allusive elegance
Slipping away into the darkness
Of extinction

For those with black hearts and feeble minds
They shall never see the ends of times
Only when the white rose comes to full bloom
Shall the meek and kind find their true home
They shall be with angels above

As those assemble in the quire
Songs melodic under the arch
Brothers plotting after songs depart
Time eternal yet as always coward’s preach
Solace coming from wisdom's speak

Their persuasion lacking sincere tone
As the sinners lay underneath cold stone

Not Realizing We Were Obamanizing

Not Realizing We Were Obamanizing

Not realizing
We were Obamanizing
Was quire surprising.

Some are disguising
Things they are sermonizing
Need new horizon.

Revitalizing
While riding on big bison
Had John been his son.
(Simple Simon)

Selectivity
May result from brevity
But an entity?

Sure was consistant
They all had been resistant
Not knowing what we meant.

Which political candidate could
any of this be referring to?

Premium Member Ham And Cheese On A Bun

It was the night before Christmas, and I couldn't sleep,
I got out of bed without so much as a peep.
And headed to the kitchen for something to eat,
buck naked, except for the slippers on my feet.

I didn't dare turn on the nightlight and wake my wife,
for the last time I did that, she threatened my life.
The house was dead quiet; I could not hear a sound
as I ventured downstairs, feeling my way around.

I got to the living room, stumbling a few times,
then I heard music that sounded like Christmas chimes.
So, I went to the window and pulled back the drapes,
thinking the neighbors were playing some Christmas tapes.

I forgot I was as naked as a jaybird;
till I heard the loudest scream I had ever heard.
The church quire was midnight-caroling on my lawn,
and in plain view, I stood bare-assed, not a stitch on.

Judging by the faces I saw scrambling to leave,
I don't think they'll ever forget this Christmas Eve.
It was never my intent to flash anyone,
I simply wanted a ham and cheese on a bun.

They and Me

I know not what is this bittersweet
feel as I am trodden by the feet...
...Oh, so dark!...of lonliness
crushed by its smirking ruthlessness.
Battered and bruised by the emotional pain,
enmeshed in a web of tears and pain.
'??',you may quire, and all I can say
you have No idea, how miserable are THEY.
They are wanting to advance stepping on shoulders,
their way should be clear- others, all boulders.
And so empty vessels never a chuckle suppress-
they can only loudly mock and depress.
And THEY define lonely, how sad is love lorn
Lives should be hooded in night, forget morn!
Ah! They only know to blur twinkling eyes,
for they only know how to turn laughter to cries.
They only know how joy is sucked out from souls,
they only know how to leave a heart full of holes.
But I know I´ll come out, I know I´ll be free-
today they may laugh, one day they´ll praise me!
And then my incessant caterwauling
will take the much awaited swing...
and THAT moment I´ll rejoice, as pure ecstasy
I know its not too far....I´ll reach....its easy.
So its best to let the bacchanalias bawl,
´cause with the stones they throw, its a BRIDGE, not a wall!

The Muse

When with my wife and son, I first gazed down
At the beauty of Derwentwater in Keswick town
I was moved to awe, admiration and sheer reverence
For I was graced with beauty of such immense presence.

Such scenery, hitherto, I had only vicariously seen
On the artist’s canvas and the cinema screen
And of the awe, it could, in us mortals inspire
I had read of in many a poet’s quire.

No matter the angle, position or perspective
This was natural beauty, a landscape most emotive
Of verdant islands in a lake shimmering in the sun
And of shades of green, that did, to the horizon run.

Of majestic mountains masked by slivers of mist
And swans whose necks did gracefully twist
To the sounds and chirps that filled the air
As I simply continued to “stand and stare”

At flecks of white scattered all across the dale
Content to, in such beauty, ruminate and regale
As the sun shone down and the wind rapaciously blew
At the stream of tourists that steadily grew

Yes, this was nature in its grandeur and pomp
Through which man could at his leisure romp
And take in this theatre of such verdant green
That has for more than centuries been

An inspiration for “emotions oft recollected in tranquillity”
The muse for a simple and rustic school of poetry.

Natures Rhythm

Pitter patter …pitter patter the glorious sound of the rain drops spatter.

The earth rejoices, the trees dance to the rhythm of pitter… Patter, you can see the smiling face of the white lilies by the river side singing and shouting…ho …what a beautiful quire … pitter… patter …pitter ... patter of the rain drops

The grass shouts hallelujah…hallelujah… ho, what a celebration the dry times are over the green lands are back again

It’s a picturesque view when the land turns from brown to green the mountains come alive clapping its hands joining the jubilation of the pitter …patter …beat.

The winds mixed with rain, magic to the ear. The land sings to the tempo of pitter …patte

We must all revel in this moment when nature comes to life, the beautiful sounds of …pitter …patter.

A Glorious Universe

What natural
Is, tell!
The hawk in tabloid swoop did boast –
Whose sweetened-toil doth but
Stink, becometh it
A merry-menu nutriment.

The floods and the woods
Of their own stead in silent-words
– As a sentry –
Sendeth but a sober plea of a loyal peasantry
O, Nature! Creator! – all alludeth in an apogee
To Thy apanage and earnestly giveth plaudit unto Thee.

The swallow withal doth cheerfully
Gather and spin the straw ready to build wholly
Her empire of great tutelage;
And with her brethren bridally liveth in that age
Of diligent generation, in Thee fully hid
And given to lead like a kid.

What is more natured
Than a frog or toad in water plodded and nurtured?
His severe and heedless howl showeth his joy
To tell that: silent in a grave he shalt be a toy!
And the squirrel the jungle quire bustleth from
Tree to tree defiant of mortal wisdom.

A colossal splendour standeth
Thine sun, whose domain the day standeth;
Withal the moon’s comity: Thou, to her appal,
Bestoweth Thine night colonel –
Both but enlisteth in Thine countless soldiers of stars
Thine extol they effuseth like showers.

No less for praise, joineth the beasts –
In the homes so in the forests!
At peace in war as an influenza, Thine honours –
Man, Thine effigy, intellect and genius, in his hours
Extendeth through the gross of polity
Concurring with each command of Thine policy.

O, the fish speaketh of Thine glory, ingenious!
This inferred from a noisy-silence of her fins;
For she scorneth the indigent effort
Of the fisher whose labour won doth him hurt;
Yet, both creatures in many a varied way
Inditeth for posterity great praises that for Thee doth stay.

Yes, the clouds and the firmaments
Oceans, rivers, seas: all waters in constant movements
Doth in harmony with man and beasts
Arrayed in silent-noisy feasts
Shower in mysterious mirth
Thine glory from endless history and myth.

Yet, I behold the ineffable work bestowed on me;
My limbs, they moveth to second Thine decree!
My eyes, no exception indeed
To the law of my being, so splendid
Are those commands for me safely to live
Tho’ many infamous beings abound to strive!

Norwich Cathedral Evensong

Nine hundred years these arches rang :
With fervent praise the people sang.
In early days the monks would chant
As from the heights bright beams would slant
Illuminating Norman stone
And soften with a pallid light,
With Benedictine monotone,
To put all worldly dark to flight.

With skill, in stone, mere men have wrought
A timeless edifice, which sought
To witness to the power eternal,
With habit, cowl and vow fraternal.
And still, today, the peoples sing,
Sweet music echoing from the walls;
The organ thunders, anthems ring
From medieval quire stalls.

Spaz

 Going around and around
 Throughout every single room,
Like a cyclone spinning out of control,
Without a single trace of visible fur,
As stripes of gray and cream
 Collide into the biggest vahroom,
She come to a screeching halt.

She hops from windowsill to windowsill
 Only to find the most comfortable spot;
But instead, she's determined to climb the draperies
 Until they all drop.
 She pounces on your feet,
 Leaps in the air,
And lands so gracefully, in your seat.

She's a little ball of fire,
 With so much energy
Who doesn't know how to stop.
She has developed quire a personality.
 She's just a baby.
 She's not even three.

 That's Spaz.

Easter Is Here In My Heart

Easter Is Here In My Heart

Was really not quire sure where or when
I would have to pay for my each sin again
By me being performed and committed
And then my fault must be admitted.

Over and over thought of what I did
Up until now since a small, little kid
How on my mind they kept mounting
As I added them up after counting.

What is maximum amount sins can be?
Before God releases and sets them free
Conscience could hardly bare the weight
Further and longer I had to contemplate.

For all of the so many sins I have done
God deliberately did send His only Son
For all of my sins that I was denying
His Son soon for would end up dying.

God knew exactly what had to be done
He one day did sent us His Only Son
To pay for sins I often was denying
Thankfully for them He would be dying.

This is precisely what Jesus did do
On cross high above and in plain view
And song all of you are now singing
Memories of Him back are bringing.

Am writing this poem I have started
And like a wave from God it parted
Spread out on paper and is appearing
Have become a man who is God fearing.
