Work in progress: In my excitement to expose the science of truth, through the history of religion, I rushed to post this, to trump so to say, any others with like minds!

Inspired by a Poem by Tim Smith, and well a book

Update:   1 person managed to guess, congrats Reggie!

The poem is based on the book

THE PILLARS OF THE EARTH ,  by Ken Follet

I will be adding a post on my Blog later about the book!

Lacking Lacking eloquence Lector lacking Bullfrogs and lemmings crooning In the swamp of dim intellect Spewing their haughtiness Through their noses the spittle drops Collecting in murky waters Their stagnation hiding within their bubble of hate When the swamp dries lest it be said No one will be opening heavens gate One can not persuade a mind painted in black They the commoners’ collect like old dishes On a dirty rack Should the Cellarer ever turn his back Plato’s will attack in their packs Airs of allusive elegance Slipping away into the darkness Of extinction For those with black hearts and feeble minds They shall never see the ends of times Only when the white rose comes to full bloom Shall the meek and kind find their true home They shall be with angels above As those assemble in the quire Songs melodic under the arch Brothers plotting after songs depart Time eternal yet as always coward’s preach Solace coming from wisdom's speak Their persuasion lacking sincere tone As the sinners lay underneath cold stone

Thank you for the book title Arthur:) I have faint familiarity with this title and a bit more awareness of the author. I can see now, how inspiration can easily come, it really adds another level of meaning to your poem. What a great idea to try to 'guess' the book'...congrats to Reggie. Very nicely done with the added 'extra' book mystery, Arthur. I thoroughly enjoyed this A 7

Hello Arthur, Very powerful and very expressively written for sure. I think in one sense or another, our world will always be challenged by those who possess "black hearts" and "feeble minds." It's, unfortunately, in the Human DNA. We must never let these nasty people win, and fight always for those who are mistreated and cannot defend themselves. A Superb Write!! SEVEN/FAVE!! Cheers and Best, Gary (P.S. I just posted a Terzanelle today that you might be interested in. Best, GB)

I really enjoyed the poem and the theme of bullying. Your phrase choices are very creative and artistic and your talent shine brightly in this but, the person it was directed at...in my opinion...should be given a chance. It's hard to walk when you are beat down for every step you take. Sorry, once again, just my opinion.

My apologies for the huge misunderstanding on my part. Forget the second part of my comment. I was lost in my own mind and drew some extremely inaccurate conclusions from your notes by not reading them (your notes) exactly as they were written. So, it was I who was confused and sincerely apologetic. Please accept my apology. It seems I inserted the bullying theme on my own, sometimes I am just dumb like that.

I am a bit confused, as this was NOT directed at any particular person, and not even about bullying directly. If you read some of my responses this is about a book I am reading. It has more to do with some characters in the book, and as in any good book, they are made up of shades, just some darker than others.

I really hope when the white rose will come in bloom ..my hands wont be tainted with sin nor my soul..I want to be amongst those saved..as I plead Mercy dear God..Its always difficult to be so kind and good...but no harm in trying.Exceptional poem...Art.

Great language very expressive of the state of affairs in today's climate. The picture is stunning, the title most befitting the stark truth of your words. I am curious as to the name of the book from your notes. I appreciate them with your poems, they are a great added learning asset, plus, it's fascinating to me to know your starting points and inspirations as you are talented in a broad range of interesting subjects. An impressive write Arthur:) lynnxxx

I will be adding the name of the book soon! As I said to Darren, I play a game with a few of my friends, whereby they try and guess the book beforehand! Thanks!

Oh so glad Tim inspired you with these powerful lines on bullying - love the title it is so appropriate and the reference to Platos was sheer genius :-) hugs Jan xx

Thanks Darren, I didn't put the book title yet, as with a few of my friends, I let them try and guess the book based on the poem. In this case the photo is also a clue!
