Hush,is that a knock upon your door,
A guest,who is seeking more,
Someone,perhaps come to dine
A feast for two and then
Converse in fellowship divine

Fall has the middle wall,
In two,the veil is torn
Emnity has no call-
With Him,our cornerstone
No longer,we....forlorn

Is Hades your sheol
Quietus staging post
A chasm to separate,
Paradise from Hell

Will you await along the lake,
Resurrection's second death-
Or be a name in the Book of Life
His name on your forehead

weed covers the pond-
a crested grebe
dives for treasure

a puffed up firecrest
alights upon
our smoke tree

a dawn delicacy-
the mistlethrush's
everyday grub

out of the nest-
the fledgling hopes
mother finds a worm

All
change
evolves-
as taboos
become convention

As
art
nouveau
brings anguish,
then bewilderment
conceives a new understanding

When
a
doodle
or gesture
becomes surreal

New
forms
mix old
rhythms in
novelle images

~He Will Be With You ~
(Quaternion)

When with life you can not longer cope
He will give you love, peace, and hope.
He will help you to be very strong
When everything for you go wrong.

When you fight and struggle all in vain
He will comfort and take away your pain.
When you are at the end of your rope
He'll help you see better beyond your scope.

When your spirit is so sad and low
Before God just kneel right there and much pray.
When troubles in life just pile wide and so high
His divine love in your heart forever will just flow.

snowfall in the dell-
             spring blossom dies

sunshine on my face-
           summer's last hurrah

the tangle of Autumn-
           bonfired into smoke

candlemas evensong-
                winter's requiem

FOUR SEASONS (lanterne sequence)
May
breezes

High summer

Fall
tints red
Autumn's stall

Asleep,winter

dead

QUATERNION (free verse)

Ah, Spring come again, the
warmth, the rain, yellows and
green.Grass, winds, blossom
bright,showers of life aloud in
the sky

Then Summer, her
beauty displays.
All nature in
flower, eye-catchingly dressed
to attract; then mellow vistas
bedeck the view with largesse,

bountiful Fall’s into our arms
to sustain our sleep in quietness

of Winter’s cold indoor nights

There

weeping over
