Best Quality Poems
Quality comments wanted
Generics need not apply
“Cute one,” she said. “Funny,” he wrote.
(I’d written the poem while I cried)
“Points” are given for comments left
Some writers just copy and paste
Such comments show poems were not read
To muster points, they’re left in haste
Poets always see the difference
When their verse was actually read
So if you have no time to read
Pass the poetry by instead
For the Views versus Comments contest
Quality Versus Quantity seems to be a reason for debate,
Although I don't know why or who would even hesitate
To set aside and place quality in a class much preferred,
Since quantity is a number and over quality, seems absurd.
When we think of friends, it's not the number of, the amount,
But rather the quality of our friends that does only count.
True friends are less in number but true ones always care,
While all the rest when you need them, won't likely be there.
I have to chuckle at all those who seek followers and likes,
Not looking for quality but quantity for their mood spikes.
I'd rather have a few who I know are supportive and true,
Than a gazillion who could really care less about what I do.
It seems in this world fake and artificial are in favour,
Leaving those who choose real as the element to savour,
As fewer in number and are becoming fewer, rarer every day,
But of the few I'd rather be; the fake game, I'll not ever play.

A desire, a wish, a simple dream—
Of us together, laughing giddily,
At Dad's oh-so-lame PJs,
At Mom's sweet little complaints,
At Bhai's sharp, witty comments,
And my endless fussing over them.
I yearn for this tender, tiny wish:
To laugh with them, carefree and blissed
QUALITY CONTROL
Visions of scientists in white coats, with glass jars
Scraping layers of paint off new cars
Or women with heavy blackframed glasses
Weighing the sugar content of two sweetened masses
Or testing the strength of steel cables to breaking point
(Same approach to the patience of the menfolk in the joint)
But equally when your neighbor puts down his banjo
For out to the backyard lightning-still he’s gonna go
Check to see the alcohol content is always the same
And put a match to a spoonful and watch the flame.
Or when the gas station guy changes a tire, and you arrive
Late, you kick the tire before you drive.
Quality control can be done with lens and vial;
But equally it can be done bronco-style.
I believe in Human Rights
not vapor that rises
even from crap
Our instinctive want for quality,
Conscious brushing off of quantity,
As quantity reaps in annoyance,
While quality breathes out balance.
Quotes of quality beats quantity,
Equal irony to a cat-loved person,
When they reason the clingy cats,
As more loving quantifiable quality.
The notions of quality and quantity,
Should ground mutually inclusive,
Not quality thriving off on quantity,
Nor quantity demeaning out quality.
Every love language is different,
Not the same him her you I,
Proving both defeats its purpose,
With two persons ending in sigh.
No longer should the notions be,
The usual quality beats quantity,
Rather how impressions ought be,
Quality and quantity in matrimony.
In an age of emotional strife
nothing could be more heroic
than knowing when to admit
you're wrong, listening to
the better angel
who guides you through
divisive
raging
thoughts.
The quality that is within me
To see it I had to find the key
Open it up and take a look
It was like a mystery book
So I opened the book and began to read
I was amazed by a single seed
That was planted in me one day
But it wasn't watered so it withered away
Then I read on and began to see
Other qualities within me
Qualities that are possibilities
As long as I never lost the key
They sound very similar
they are in no way twins
one is sweet
one is a sin
A Lament--On The
Quality Of Life
Those homes made
of wood and mud!
Mud would in winters
keep cold away
In shivering
summers heat
And wood would give
them an artistic
appearance
The tin-roofs and
fenced verandas.
My mouth would
water with the smell
Mom often fried at
school time
The eggs were laid
by the healthy hens
We raised in our
open yard.
Those potatoes
were hard, and had
a different taste
Although sliced and
fried the same way.
Those village-
women would bear
Every year or two
bear-sized babies
And, with ease!
In the woods, fields,
or orchards
Or in frozen-winters
at home.
Similarly, Love too
was true and pure
When people fell not
in
What the letches call
love,--
So effortlessly and
frequently!
When phones were
not there nor any
dating site
And horses were
used to ride.
(people of developed
nations can't relate
their thoughts and
feelings with the
poem!
But machines,
artificiality, genetic
engineering have
deteriorated for
example the taste of
vegetables; and
destroyed our
emotions.
Hope it's agreed.
Thanks

The Timer is time, He controls time, Life is time, He control life
He is the first and the last-beginning and the end
He is eternity meaning time without measure-He is timeless
An Hour to Him is one year – a year to Him is an Hour
If you have the Timer, you will have all the time you need in the world

Quality Arise Like Champion
Quality products and services
Improvement in our processes
Customer satisfaction is our mission
Increase our productivity
Reliability and responsibility
I stood for quality, gain our victory
Quality arise like champion
Drive ourselves with compassion
Work together with cooperation
Be the best among all nations
Above the clouds, we soar up high
Get ready cause we going to fly
We dream it all, we touch the sky
Quality is our core competence
Excellence foundation of our success
Arise were champion
From here we stand and soar
Higher, higher to reach our goal
Arise were champion
From here we stand and soar
Now I’m working with a quality
Immense myself with a dignity
Creates opportunity, earn our victory
The Quality Of Mercy
'The quality of mercy is not strained'
wrote the bard of bards in his day
may be he meant it was unrestrained
and the Creator intended it so to stay
Or maybe his meaning was, it's not sifted,
unquantifiable, and justly meted
so that Man was able to be assured indeed
of its swift application when in need.
He could not forsee an electronic land
where pathos and pleasure go hand in hand
where scenes of human suffering at a flash
are superceded by something utterly rash.
Sad to say on this 'progressive train'
the quality of mercy is under strain
tho' whilst many would 'pass on the other side'
many more good souls still show mercy with pride

I want to walk in my golden years,
On the Cornish beaches’ warm gold sands,
Where my footsteps are unhurried,
And my route is seldom planned.
I want to sit on the wooden benches,
Overlooking those dark blue bays,
I want to breath in this fresh salt air,
Until the ending of my days.
I don’t want to become immortal;
Living for forever and a day,
I just want to savour life in this world,
No matter how long or short my stay.
I don’t want my life extended for the sake of it,
With no reason or rhyme,
I just want to live in the here and the now,
And enjoy this - my quality time.
