The Audacity of Honesty (Quality of a True Hero)

In an age of emotional strife
         nothing could be more heroic
                 than knowing when to admit
                        you're wrong, listening to
                              the better angel
                                   who guides you through
                                       divisive
                                          raging
                                            thoughts.

Here it is Sunday and the begining of a new week is upon us. And August is leaving us way to soon. I am enjoying reading such excellent poems today and am happy to see your poetry among them Yoni. May your pen forever flow. Love, Carol

It is hard to admit being wrong but one feels much better when they do so. Sara
