Somehow,
I find myself
content,
confident
and
intrepid

 . . . intertwining the interval,
these dimensions,
and the embroidery
that sets us apart

Even though,
there’s an ache to know
you,
and occupy
your personal space

  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
a connection unbroken
      ~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Right now,
contentment
confidence
and timely dimensions,
enable me
to...

Of Cleanliness and Godliness
Of Cleanliness and Godliness, the adage appoints;
God will be proximate to the most cleanly joints.
Now, Craig’s place is clean, I mean, his pad is bright!
And Steve lives on Craig’s left while I’m on the right.

The way that I figure, if that old saying’s true,
Then Steve’s...

The American Civil War
From Sumter to lee's
surrender,
The hostilities
between,
The fired shots,
The wasted lives.
Questions unsettled
from nation’s
Inception tried,
The issues such as
key
The slavery
question,
North and south
divided,
Over them contended.
For four years
'proximate,
The fallen and the
slain,
Lying spread-eagled
or prostrate,
After the smoke and
fire,
The invisible
element cleared.
One half to arms
deemed humane,
The second half by
profit blinded,
A profit from toil,
Off the backs...

An Effect Without a Cause
An effect without a cause
A bolting into being
Is anathema to reason
A delirium or dream

Proximate – and ultimate
Phenomena exclaim
There is one rule inviolate -
Determinism reigns

The implication staggers -
Our will constrained, unfree
Yet if this be so
How can reason be?...

The World
.. The world
a planet with sorrow and pain ..
even earth is about to cut through his veins

there is alot going in the world today
earth a place so colorful .. yet in my eyes
the world now looks grey ..
they say...

Overload
On razor-edges, Chinese windchimes tinkle and peel,
eclectic charges skip, crackling and white,
from synapse to synapse.
Neck muscles then cord, piano wire strained,
arched spine, gruesome human bow, neither arrow nor target;
spittle-flecked lips morph shades of Arctic blue,
glacial, foaming soundproofed mantras against dead audilogy.
A hard rain teems, lancing...

Near a Big Ocean of Love
Near a huge ocean of love
The day is delightful
Colourful birds are singing
The sun is shining
All is calm for our glory
And nature admires us

Close to a titanic ocean of love
She sits proximate to me
And she moves closer to me
Just the way a tortoise does
And her eyes...

A Poet's Worth
An outpouring of the soul
A sense of release and escape from all confinement
A voice --- a source of power and strength
Emotions --- uncontained
A raw honesty
Vulnerability to the bone
A portrait of a time distant or proximate
A healing from within
A poet’s worth --- undeniable
Beyond the limits of...

Secular Mnemonics
Twisted thoughts, carefully secluded in webs
Anticipated plot, not an evolution, just being you
Planned subjects in an unhealthy immobile mind
You’re form of infinite justice, well developed in the form of
Secular Mnemonics

Extroverted passivity, a purposeful and comprehended essence
Can’t look in the mirror now, brainstorming anew
Embracing this way...

The Nihilist - Eight: the Searcher
How high the moon in comparison
  To the depths in which I sink;
How black the nightfall garrison,
How black the thoughts I think.
In every niche I see her,
Every place I think I spy
Glimpses of something proximate
  In peripheral white of...

Restaurant Reapings 3
Aware of my attention to her as well as my proximate presence, she went on in a steadily refined rhythm, neither upset nor uplifted, holding my slick sight at reducible ductility and scotching its sneak stretch. Synergic is the comfort of her tangible prandial posture,...

View Through the Rear Window
Did you wonder, why?
Your child kneels on the back seat,
Watches, out of the rear window,
as your car, gathers, speed?

Being a follower,
you honk dip and shout,
To overtake cars ahead,
for the thrill of an egoistic bout;

While your little one wonders,
watching the cars...

The Beautiful and the Desolate
Marvelling how this sun-kissed landscape shaped the sweep,
In cornfields awash with yellow, seas of rippling gold,
As the river cut a mud-bank path with current deep,
And whispered sweet and long of things untold,
Beneath the apple boughs we welcomed sleep.

     And when the...
