Putting the blame
on global warming
winter felt the pinch
rain was scarce
and spring arrived
lamenting its luck
unable to twirl
in habitual gown
of green satin
shyly tiptoeing
keeping a low
profile, feeling blue;
the wind intervened

with soothing words

providentially
