The CoopThe People's Coop
is a warm inviting place,
for some
a reading and meditation
and arts practice and performance space,
for others
a place to ride sleek bicycles
with self-and-other improvement book racks
while peddling energy into the cooperative Grid,
sheltered by solar panel roof
and natural wood graffiti walls
spun and sung
with Mohammad's Sufi...

Our Earthcafe CoopIn one sense,
the Cafe CoOp
started as my therapeutic retirement dream.
But,
in quite another
the CoOp goes back to when I was eight,
and I thought,
assumed really,
everyone indulged in Thought Experiments
about what would my optimal Eden Paradise.
restoring peace and justice across Earth
look like,
feel like,
smell like,
sound like?
And how are these
a...

The Inevitability of HappinessToday,
there are no rubber ducks
or mother's marigold skirts
to hide behind
as we once did.
In their place,
lurking dark and hoary,
a bathtub mist
updrafts thick with loose spores,
and mildew veins
sprawling
behind caulked-over creases.
The day,
shrinking away heavy with time,
as a body
sagging
into
water.
Even the washing suds have gone sour,
worn out honeysuckle soap.
Vibrant bubbles...

Daniel, a Special BreedA few nights ago, a young man dined at my table who has already served our country for several years in the US Army. He is presently considering re-enlisting, feeling that is where he belongs. Daniel and thousands like him take no pleasure in...

Peace On EarthDriving through this neighborhood
Of boarded houses, nothing good
A scary feeling wraps me tight
I shouldn't be here late at night
My brother called, I had to go
Beyond my help, 'I know, I know.'
Yet still I need to recognize
It could be...

Moan Voyage, Have a Nice Trip and See You Next FallMOAN VOYAGE
I see a great deal of people who smile
And say things such as “I’m going away for awhile”
Hell, I find these people vile
Now why would I use such a nasty word such as vile?
Perhaps because, as well, I am revolted by their style
I’ll give...

What Kelsi MeansFemale warrior preservers for she is judged by god
though she foresees this chosen fate for it's a mere phosad
It's true this woman is strong, with exuding youth and a heart that is brave
She pulls through for herself, in return to god she is no...

A Third Quantum Subject Specifics: The Applications of Murphy's Law - Part I: ASKINGUpon receipt of this paraphrase whenever it visits upon your person--free of dire straits and in trepidation, its infamous adage, "Anything that can go wrong will go wrong," subject to limits.
I've equivocated or tossed-up similarities of circumstances and their eventual outcome via two terse...

Peaceful Global WarmingGreen and blue
Crashing cool
Puffy sight
Ending trip bubbling babbling white
Honest nature doing right
Churns the water
Rewinding its bodies recorder
Only to splash forward
Grabbing the beach
Entry point successfully reached
Retreating back
To a calmer track
Swimming along
Doing nothing wrong...

Heart of My OceanOvercome by fears
Drowning in a sea of turbulent tears
Throwing out a lifeline there you are
Navigating through the storm my brightly shining star
My lighthouse, my safe haven, my beach
My island paradise where steady solid ground's within reach
Beacon of hope burning so bright
Fading out darkness replacing it...

Inescapable Captors of Solid Information“The place of cure of the soul.”
Millions, clasped beyond Minerva's hall,
While inquisitive and confident hard.
Headed down towards different thoughts;
To giant collections, questions, borders strange.
There stood content's house of three.
In front, moved in cylindrical copyrights,
In round pegs and liquid language totems.
Then the first, unsettled pages in...

Free and Fair ElectionsNow, rarer than a virgin
By a very wide margin
And being forced to take Eagle’s flights
From polling stations of Ugly fights.
In many countries
Being hanged on their tallest trees
And given a cause to grip ‘The Rescuing Near’
All the time wearing some bitter tear
Free-and-fair Election
Needs the greater protection
Of...

Destination of LoveLove is a river
Filled with the water
Of sorrowful tears
Of the two banks
Like the separated lovers
The flow of water
Is the bulk of
Feelings of love
Which the lovers
Like the sincere preservers
Hold whole heartedly
The waves in it
Are the intensity of
Their painful feelings
The floating weeds in it
Are the old...
