Heart of My Ocean

Overcome by fears
Drowning in a sea of turbulent tears
Throwing out a lifeline there you are
Navigating through the storm my brightly shining star

My lighthouse, my safe haven, my beach
My island paradise where steady solid ground's within reach
Beacon of hope burning so bright
Fading out darkness replacing it with promising light

Sacred patient lifeguard on standby
Ready with life preservers on the fly
Diving in without uttering or murmuring a single word
Through suffocating currents your love is still heard

You extend to me your oars when mine are lost among debris
Eagerly guide me to safety through blinding waves I can't see
The eye of my own hurricane, you save me from me
Through endless depths of devotion, heart of my ocean smooth sailing sets me free

Sometimes one must find a strong enough will to dive in & save themselves..no one's ever truly alone as long as you can keep faith alive..thanks, S1..best wishes
