More than a rose is my love for you,
so how can it be that your heart is less true.
Yet, deeper in me, stirs the passion of baalim,
while your burning flamed fire has started to dim.
The petals that fall from this bud to the ground,
what's left, the remnants of the love that we found.
In truth, my desire, a single red rose,
boldly festers my limerence as my yearning grows.
You spoke of our love as if it were wrong,
and the passion we had could not keep it strong.
Now you stand there weeping, all adorned in white,
don't think that your tears have belittled this slight.
You have made it clear while your feeling departs,
how my now broken heart is missing some parts.
To me, you are more than a bud, red and rosy,
but unlike your bouquet, I am less than a posy.

Posy and Punky rode a kinky ass
Went to the market to buy awesome trash
But the trash was clunky
Said Posy and Punky
The ass rolled his eyes hey they are still fresh
I found a garden
A perfect bloom in the middle of a verdant
sea of green
a sip of rain balanced upon a rosy peach petal
reflecting the flames of sunrise
I stopped to ponder its loveliness
A cold metal thing, all angry voices
and slashing blades
swept by and
murdered my perfect posy
pick a rose
pick a posy
posy of snowdrops
posy of violets
violets bright purple
violets to spray
spray the flowers
spray softly misty
misty blue eyes
misty cloudy days
days with laughter
days with tears
tears of gladness
tears of sadness
sadness in death
sadness for grades

Form: Blitz - A form of poetry created by poet Robert Keim in 2008. It is a 50-line poem of short phrases and images. The "Blitz" poem is well-named, as the fifty short lines are read in rapid-fire fashion. “The form really relies on sound and rapid "flow." ~Rob Keim.

Maid of Honor’s Posy
Wearing her fuchsia gala dress
She walked the aisle and went ahead
With fresh posy as thick as cress
Weird fantasy popped in her head-
I’ll be the bride
Man by my side.
As wedding song took its progress
Plans unfurled like unwinding thread
First, to ask him his home address
Then dating path, she hoped to tread-

A posy for me,
And a posy for you,
O’Summer speaks,
And swinging tunes,
Swing me to you.

I wonder what ether infuses consciousness
Why this delirium after last night’s show?
What’s in a name?
Oh how I’d watched her
Every skillful every reckless change of face
Every dancing change of pace
Her outrageous fling of clothes
from Flatbush
to Paris
Dominating every set of scrambled spangled disarray
She might have jigged the crown at old Bolshoi
No one would be aware
No one would care
Posy
Wild flower
All alone
I wonder at the indelible ghostly mix
In that face
Such delicacy
a breeze-filtered smoke
clouding my eyes
Or is it all in a name
Posy?
Prettiest prancing posy parasols play
Petunias preen provocatively
pathetic persnickety performance
pretty parasols procure the prize
Around the inner circle the saying goes written to be hidden yet fully expresses the engravings of another’s heart short and concise circling the finger an art from one to another a golden band of remembrance even when loved ones are gone another generation carries it on
