Premium Member My oblivious eye

Here on the cusp of all things, is where I succumb
Ceding my stuff blindly, toward oblivion and none
Unwilling to persevere, without a modicum of fun
Listing in perpetual stasis, til the spasm’s undone

And yet a god may save me, or a talisman of love
Some prophet of euphoria, quelling ennui thereof
Placing good tidings, into a universal equation
Edifying eternity…..revealing its exact duration…..

Alas he speaks in riddles, and treads a mobius strip
Each cycle forming a twist, convoluting his trip
Determined I follow, my awareness in collapse
Narrow-mindedly stumbling into mortality traps

Now I sense the endgame, but decline to exalt
Its a distortion, an abortion, a cataclysmic fault
Chance meeting with a nihilist, yields positive results
Unable to see past zero, he reveals nothing but cults

Here on the cusp of all things, is where I begun
A contorted brain-f*ck, had no choice but to come
A demon of clarity, with an open ended measure
One who gives to please, but prefers taking pleasure

To believe for one moment, I’d live off a dying spark
Only denies potential, when again life goes dark
With more light to come, my sunglasses prepared
Eternity’s not polarised, just infinitely layered

If a blind man articulates, I’ve seen all this before
Screaming and convinced “I’m a seer at my core”
Could be he’s mistaken, or deluded with Déjà vu
Begs his final question, “do I have a point of view”?

My Folk Song

Amadioha the great god of Thunder and Justice
We have gathered at the shrine of Alusi’gwe
To pour libations to you
Even as I do my folk song
Bring me the ogene, to awaken the spirit of my
Forbearers to witness the doomsday they foretold
Give me the udu, to sound out a warning to the futureman
Give me the oja, the special voice of oganigwe the dreaded masquerade
Give the shekere, so that the women of owu can shake their enchanted waist
In love and tranquillity we lived with our neighbours, doing our folk song

Buddha called out to Lord Brahman
Set aside a room for me in the inner chamber
Decorated with beautiful ornaments, to depict love and care
Flanked with candles and incense burner and the beautiful statue of the wise man
To help me escape from the corruption of this world
As I attempt to wake from hatred of neighbours
Focusing on love and purity of heart
Allow me do my folk song living in tranquillity with nature and neighbours

Christed you said you are, servant of the son of God sent from above
Your brother claimed that you are a messenger from Allah
What is this confusion I see, contradicting even your folk song
You came with a sweet tongue of love, yet all I see is terrorism and
A holy war fought by crusaders crushing the bones of the unbelievers
Those who worship idols yet lived a life akin to nature – a life of love
You have created a polarised world of Christed men with less shame for evil
Of religious women without morals
Of Ulamas who feed on the sweat of Almagiris
Oh Christ! is this the gospel you preached on the street of Nazareth?
O! Mohamed is this the Rasuul you preached in Mecca
O! God what we do in your Name, we should be afraid of doing even in the dark

Allow me to return home
To my folk song
In African theism, to the shrines of Alusi’gwe,
To do my folk song with Oganigwe the beautiful masquerade
To solicit corn and groundnuts from old women with sagging breasts
Chasing the kids with a whip in my hand as I wear the mask of the spirit
A spirit of sportsmanship, of equity and love, of fair play and brotherhood.
Allow me do my folk song

Professor Wilbur the Whale the Second

Oooh now then. Oh just wow. A scarlet salivating sentinel sentiment is wafting air at that door. Blowing. Blowing is not bubbling so do not count powder puffs or smoke globules that radiate sideways. It is wise to brush the hair of radishes if kept as pets as jess the juniper plant will inform crystal curtains if the duty of brush is not attended to. And the duty of brush is a popular sight for passing breezes in microscopic skirts. Pitter patter titter tattle then. Tittering teasing tenacious tingles. Trapping. Tripping. Taking. Then up and away with all the finer scented procrustean produce. In a giant orbital cloud. Decorated in proud prints and self determined make up that costs way over the price of a single bag of flour to dust the cheeks. It is more often that a mock moronic macro macaroni makes an energy beam to an enemy of eggplants. But eggplants can be radically and powerfully transforms and transported into the wide dance halls of many a lunar ocean ballroom. Dance carefully carrying the sand, the ships, and the oven gloves. We wouldn't want spillage would we? So very wasteful. Wasteful waist coated wasters wantonly willing war. And a five centimetre slug jet skiing on the wild tepid waters at ease with all possibilities of a handwritten swirly note with a flowery kiss. Playful and play. Playing and placing. And the sharp wide angle from a spotted viewfinder is never quite enough to seal a deal with a seal, a serpent and a pillar of margarine. Quanta quintet. And a portal of pigs parading in a seventy seven acre of orchard pie. Monkeys dangling from trees throwing dirt at ignorance. And the jester fish trots by on the shire horse on a blue sunny afternoon. Age after age after age after age after age. Clever created canopies cuddle cute clams. Clap then. One two three four clap clap clap. And give a loud cheer like hurrrraaahhhhhhh. Then lie down then stand up. Quickly. Central controlled colonies collect. Drag no tin of ham or peas to the airports. Z quintillion Z quintessential Z at fifty four rotating square pegs with long curvaceous legs ti twelve turkeys tuning tinned terrapin tunes. Bing bang bong bung in a bungalow. Laughing. Like ha ha ha ha ha. And a cute semi polarised cat in a tight fitting bathing hat in a bathroom. Z and that was the latest news. Z

Sea Gull

Viewed through my lens your cold eye
Sees only opportunity, chances for greed,
Unfair and brutal scoring at no cost
To yourself. Instinct polarised to bad,
Answering circumstance with cruelty,
Exploiting misfortune, weaknesses, screaming,
Looking and pressing always for more
As you squabble and spear an unfair share.

But now distant against a bruised cloud
I see you above, glowing, new and lost
In soaring solitude and then always above
You join with other wings, careening, returning
High and silhouetted in the light and round
In turning motions mirroring foam on wave,
Spray on shore, clean, dreaming ambition
With wing and wing, now cheating air.

I Think I Love You, Dad

A hero to a little boy,
Smartest man in the world, so full of joy.
Big HOUSE! Big beard. Big Family! Big belly!!
“I love you son.” “I love you too, Dad”.

A whole different place,
Confusion wins the race.
One night, a big fright. Discovery leads to recovery
“I love you, I promise.” “I love you too, Dad”

A fresh new family,
A mansion from a fantasy.
Pink Floyd and Air guitar! And “this is not the droid you're looking for.”
“We love you son”. “I love you, too”

A trip to the beach,
Just about out of reach.
Chicken bakes and heart aches. Beautiful piers and encroaching fears.
“I love you, see you next month,” “I think I love you too, Dad.”

A long train or a maybe a flight,
One at a time, but always polite.
Awkwardness and distance. Loneliness and inconsistence.
“Love you, see you next time.” “See you, Dad.”

A missed call, or unresponded text,
Why can’t I find the time? Neither this week or next?
We’ll schedule! It’s fine. Just fine. And repeat.
“Speak soon, son.” “Goodbye, Dad.”

A sad piece of news, a long conversation.
Is it actually happening? Time for deliberation.
I’m polarised. A tear in one eye. Phone to his ear. I hope he can hear.
“I’m coming to see you Dad.”

“I think I love you, Dad.”

“I love you, Dad.”

A man who was loved,
Finally at peace, watching from above.
We’ll celebrate the good times as we elevate our goodbyes,
And one last time, without the tune - I’ll see you on the Dark Side of the Moon.

Chemistry

Absorbed of you and seeing
the things your senses blind.
Soaked in my concentration,
polarised in my head.
Chemistry, perniciously,
weaves magic paradigms.
Apothecary wisdom dusts
soft the biology.
Bio-rhythms, endocrine storm
lunar clouds like swamp fire.
And flesh, my flesh, to frost infused
seared at sub-zero.
The nervous system central buzz,
descant of sampled sound.
Centrifugal cinema screens
rotate in spun catastrophe.
No matter how or what the life station,
feelings for you remain inviolate.
Dictates the affecting actions
taken in due alchemy.

Premium Member The Poet Wears Polarized Glasses

The poet, he sat, with a pen in his hand,
And cardboard, by the shop door,
And his eyes only saw the polarised view,
Of what people chose to ignore,

The sight from his rug, from his holes in his jeans,
The sight from his broken down hat,
Was of the emptiest people, buried in work,
Living a life in combat,

Which had faded away the colour of fun,
To his eyes they were all still at school,
They each did exactly what they were told,
Chasing the coin like a fool,

And he wrote what he saw beyond their dead eyes,
He wrote from his cold concrete seat,
He wrote the things he loved about life,
From his raw homeless spot on the street.

Premium Member Why are we here

As God’s light containerised in this form,
cravings of dark desires having been tamed,
from deep in our core rises a bliss storm,
for which Holy Spirit is to be blamed.

Tree of ego felled, delusion’s dispelled
and we behold in clear sight, light of Self,
in the heart of God, by agape love held,
there remains no agenda on our shelf.

Duality is but light polarised,
which rediscovers itself in the heart
and when love’s ingrained, God is realised,
breath by breath feeling bliss ignition start.

Descent and ascent is the game divine,
which but requires that with love we align.

Premium Member Early Hours

........ facing eastwards.
Cool, still, expectant.
The sky, the ground, are one.
Soon a subtle transition.
One-ness becomes polarised.
The monochrome breaks.
Half-light above. Half-night below.
From the greys contrast comes,
pulls shape and form from shadow.
A vague sketch of skyline.
Sky and ground thus defined.

Now, for the solar spectrum.
The horizon, a blaze of red-orange.
Ribbons of cirrus, luminous yellow-white.
Aloft, reflects the blue-violet.
Centre stage, the star turn, amber burn.
A new day now born.

Premium Member Is-ness of being-ness

As of choiceless choice invoked,
our polarised halves were yoked.
The one that was two became
one again in life’s end game.

If we’re to expand on this,
on how our soul imbibed bliss,
the simple truth we can share,
is head and heart need to pair.

Head represents our ego,
which when we choose to let go,
the path appears by itself,
leading us to light of Self.

The singularity point,
is where divine mists anoint
our soul in the cave of heart,
where bliss ignition does start.

All we do is remain still,
to God surrendering will,
magnetised from head to toe,
a secret we alone know.

As we’re transformed by the flame,
something shifts; we’re not the same,
as flag of love is unfurled,
the chi-force becomes our world.

Living as of need, not greed,
the bliss current takes the lead,
holding us in close embrace,
bestowing on us God’s grace.

Thoughts rested, in stillness slow,
truth of Self we get to know,
which dear hearts, is living light,
drenched in heightened bliss delight.

Premium Member I Am

As pure awareness pulsating in form,
I Am as I Am, bliss drenched and complete,
gentling mindfully, onset of love’s storm,
suffusing mind-body, from head to feet.

The polarised aspect of who I Am,
as ego to navigate this earth realm,
knowing not the truth, creates a logjam,
manifesting desires that overwhelm.

Be this as it may, in truth I Am free,
provided I choose to stagnate nowhere,
nonchalant to outcomes, always carefree,
vibrant by day and night thus, self-aware.

I Am both immanent and transcendent ~
I Am God’s love and light, bliss resplendent

Premium Member the direct path

ephemeral are objects heart desires
fleeting is joy and lingering is pain
cause of suffering is seeking outcomes
ignorance is our sin, desire the chain

simply recognising that body-mind
is an earth vehicle, an interface
which we as eternal presence ensoul
by God’s grace, steps towards truth we retrace

everything in this realm is polarised
enabling movement in space, clocked by time
yet do not both these fetters disappear
whence drenched with rapture betwixt bliss beats chime

God speaks to us as whispers in the void
His language is love, as conscience cajoles
befriending silence, clear light within dawns
when ego recedes, soul re-writes life’s goals

simply by melding our head with the heart
inner conflict ends and we stand erect
pheromones mingle, our eye’s then single
no longer on shores of darkness shipwrecked

upon choosing to dwell in cessation
divine magnetism pervades feeble form
we become that we had set out to seek
transmuted thus in love’s benign bliss storm

softening attention
unfocused awareness
by cessation of volition
rests in its natural state
whereupon without seeking
heart’s hidden intent stirs
in playful spontaneity
and childlike simplicity
invoking immersion of soul
in love’s enchanting fragrance
osmotically pervading the void
as that sublime emanation
divine effervescence eternal
oozing forth from heart of God
absorbed by the Self
which we are in singularity
now polarised in duality
and so mirrored in body-mind
enacts the will of God

Premium Member let there be light

one with oneness
all there then is
is bliss energised calm

we are love and light

a step distant, polarised
yet interconnected
tweets of love are emoted

attention oscillations begin

what is there to be said
of separation and ignorance
where feral lust dominates

darkness shrouds darkness

Premium Member An ocean of light

All that is, is trinity in three aspects
Immanent as identity, with our without form
Both immanent and transcendent as the light of Self
Transcendent as the infinite ocean of pure love and clear light

Within and as the seamless whole of absolute God consciousness
The descent to light of Self retains awareness without love
Thus we as it as such are complete and yet barren
So polarise our Self to imbibe agape love

Self, made in God’s image, is complete
Yet evidently lacking in love, wisdom and power
Earth is a school where Christ consciousness is imbibed
And so we as the Self, an embryo, choose to come here to learn

Encased in body-mind, Self polarised, we are limited and incomplete
So, to reunite the parts that we be joyous and whole, we strive
All spiritual paths but seek this unity of Self within form
Taking back to Self, lessons of love and wisdom

When the light of Self illuminates our form
We know who we are but the learning is not finished
So we remain still until each cell of form is transformed as light
At which stage of awareness we are both immanent and transcendent

A final void yet remains to be pierced for which silence must layer silence
To which end we choose to become slower than the slowest pulse
Whereupon the Self is admitted into the vast ocean of light
Resplendent with the effervescence of agape love
