Premium Member Box of Sadness To:(Rambling Poet)

My box of sadness too.

A box full of sadness I store under my bed.
With thoughts so sad
Making me wish I was dead.
With one look underneath my bed.
Memories of you jump inside my head.
Like a Jack in the box, who is trapped inside.
I stuffed my feelings in this box.
I will not surrender to any sadden thoughts.

Shutting the box full of spider webs.
I do not want to feel the deepness of sad, I hide.
This sadness I store back under my bed.
My feelings are better trapped inside.
Staring at the box with my eyes open wide.
Tears start to fall the ones I buried inside
Following footsteps with no guide.
Why did I bother to remove the lid.
Sadness always makes it hard to decide
The pain my heart does not want to see.
Hiding the sadness, I yet have not cried.
I will not release my sadness, and set it free.
I have managed to put the sadness out side of me.
This sadness only belongs to me.
How could you leave with out telling me bye.

I pretend to live my life so cheerfully.
It takes a real person to bring me down.
My sadness trapped behind a fake bully.
Like a smile from a clown .
I put on a show and block any sad thought.
Not allowing my self to drown in self pitting ways.
You left me alone after bringing me into this world.
The one and only person who could be there for me.
In my troubles and need she left me.

Every one saying it might have been suicide.
How could you leave us behind with misery and blame.
The sadness of your shame is what I hide
A box of my sadness under my bed.

By:P.D.----I guess that is one of my sadness. A true one at that.
To:The Rambling Poet- This is a challenge called by you.
Trapped inside with a sadness. The other part of me

Premium Member Angels and Aliens

With the Biblical accounts of angels
Regarded by some as proof of aliens

Science and religion remain at odds
One says the other has no faith in God

Is there no room in Earth’s family portrait
For both sides to speak, not one view omit

If we believe God created all things
Can’t this be said of other-world beings

No life’s threatened by angels or aliens
So mocking of either just makes no sense

When God created both heaven and Earth
Perhaps a new species of life gave birth

In another part of His Milky Way
And, in friendship, they visit us today

Appearing from the sky basked in white light
Celestial creatures laugh at the sight

Of scientists and theologians
Pitting God’s angels against God’s aliens

And man’s ignorance they may deride
Since angels and aliens thrive side-by-side

Premium Member Colour Me Lilac

He gave her a Rose what else could he do
her bands so tied a one way avenue
though not Red nor White or hard to find Blue
a token to hide from kin’s retinue.

He gives her a smile to bridge hyper space
he’s let her down his prowess a disgrace
longs for Lilac eyes that match her face
oozing memories of lasting the pace.

Everything was blue in the sky at dawn
pitting his mood being one with the thorn
a stone cold kiss for love he feels sawn
in reality this his life borne.

Premium Member Sassy Sprite

Tinting crimson-colored clouds;
a blood-red sun sinks from sight.
And Luna slowly ascends,
sculpting shadows with Her light.

Luna's majestic rise can
induce a hypnotic trance.
For, She is a sassy sprite;
and muse to both song and dance.

She adorns the black of space;
like an orchid in the sky.
And when She is in full bloom;
Her beauty warrants a sigh.

Baying wolves pay Her homage;
howling their melodic tune.
And regale the Queen of Night;
celebrating the full moon.

Despite pitting skin and scars,
She evokes wishes and dreams.
And on enchanted evenings;
dances upon sparkling streams.

The Seventh Son

This is your new world
A new age of cooperation for change
Of the hovel's life.
A growth managed not by seven nations
But twenty chosen friends
Marginalizing thos who have no arms
To declare a nightmare
On the dreams
Of children sweating
In straw beds at center of the world.
A world where the invisible seventh son sleeps.

So our president
Of the free world speaks from a podium
Where G-7 is now G-20
And cannot understand why
Mexico and Afghanistan
Is at war with this new century
Pitting country
Against individual currency
In the market of survival.
Too narrow this table
Of the fortunate few in democracy.

O give me a voice
I am the seven son whose time
For slow unveils is past
Whose power shakes the kingdoms like a patch of grass
While they deny the things I know
The gift I wasd born with in me to show
My other consciousness
Beyond material glow.
And your might be new
But I was here before
And long ago.

Do You Remember the Feeling

Do you remember the feeling,
that feeling you just could not describe?
It from which comes deep within your soul,
the pitting itch that gives you an anxious vibe.
 Do you remember the feeling,
that one that makes you feel so alive?
It takes you by surprise,
it's that moment when you first seen their eyes.
 Do you remember the feeling,
when they first said your name?
Your hands started trembling,
you fight for just the right things to say.
 But suddenly..
 Do you remember the feeling,
when they first said goodbye?
their eyes no longer the same,
you no longer wanted to go on living,
but you still fight for just the right things to say.

"Come together right now over me,"the Beatles.

"Come together right now over me."
"Let there be peace on earth and let
it begin with me."

These are the troubled times that try men's and women's souls.
Injustices and discrimination's exist in The United States,
And around the world! Economic and/or social discrimination,
Imprisonment and harassment are being filled with an
Explosive flame all over our land. Leaving the survivors
To pick up the pieces and rebuild again!

We need to put down our weapons, our guns and our
Senseless acts of violence. Their is a violent civil
War raging throughout our nation. When acts of
Injustices happen. Pitting American against our
Brothers and Sisters. We need freedom of
Opinions and ideas. "A house divided
Against itself can not stand."

"We can work it out. Life is very short and there's
No time for fusing and fighting my friends."The Beatles.

"We need to declare times of fasting and prayer,
repentance, forgiveness and healing. Resulting
and accomplishing reconciliation. Human life is
valuable And a terrible thing to waste! "Thou shalt
Not kill!" "Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thy self."

Premium Member A Father's Decree

In realms beyond, where shadows dance with glee,
Draw near, sweet child, and heed my decree.
Though my earthly form resides, in silent repose,
My essence endures, as life’s eternal cycle flows.

Fear not the cold, silent stone’s embrace,
For here, pitting bones and rotting flesh replace.
Seek instead the dawn’s hallowed, new light,
Enveloped in warm laughter, shared by friendships tight.

In your veins, my presence forever flows,
A soothing rhythm, amidst life’s highs and lows.
Through raging storms and stinging rain, I’ll be near,
In every Spring’s bloom, my presence vibrant and clear.

Discover me in the symphony of the surging sea,
In the starry night’s celestial harmony.
Like the moonbeams that color your eyes so bright,
I am your guide in the darkest of night.

I am the courage in your soul’s embrace,
The inner voice guiding you, through life’s relentless race.
Embrace all the world, let your free spirit soar,
For within its depths, I live on forevermore.

Treasure the memories, laughter, and love we’ve sown,
But know this, dear child, you are never alone.
In every sunrise, painting the sky with hues so rare,
I’ll be the golden warmth, a love beyond compare.

One day, an affair grand, we’ll rejoice again,
Ascending Heaven’s stairs together, hand in hand.

Catching Fire- Poem

This poem is inspired by the second book in The Hunger Games Series. Warning- Contains
Spoilers!

Sparks aflame
Fire and rage spread
Nowhere to go
Nowhere to run!

The capitol want's revenge!
They will do anything to get it.
Back into the arena I am sent
Pitting Peeta and I against each other.

A marriage proposal
never to be fufilled
they tricked us
It will never happen.

I have to go on
a twist in the story
Tick,tock,tick, tock
The arena is a clock

All living tributes
taken out of the arena
a official is secretly a rebel
wanting to overthrow the capitol

But where is Peeta?
No where to be found
Caputured in the hands of the capitol
I must save him!

Junior School

Junior school

Years gone by and we are all still fools
For the silly things we laughed at school
Farting and burping and breaking the rules
Making large bubble gum circles whilst swimming in the local pool
Playing tennis in the summer because Wimbledon was cool
Weekends on muddy pitches pitting your wits to tackle and duel
Flirting glances at girls although not knowing how it was cruel
Teachers bursting veins in their heads shouting to try and teach monkeys who scratch their arses and play E.T with their cagoules
Making grass bunkers in the summer with mates and a girl would show you her white knickers for some toffees and a daisy chain to amaze at and to drool
Remembering the children’s faces and the world we left behind to know that we had better times when we were all still fools.

Premium Member The Patterson Film

Man or myth, fact or fiction, a primitive walking legend,
A photo vision of realism, or fraud’s conception of the
Ultimate hoax gone wrong, evolution's unseen experimental
Beast, lying in the hallow shadows of discovery.
In the tinder box of humanity vs. creationism, the
Patterson film is a spark igniting the flame of
Controversy, singeing the ends of these too
Fragile beliefs, pitting them against each other.
Anomaly belong, in the twisted trail of DNA,
Is she a Hominid unknown or a cryptid fake?
In the vast body of evidence, do we truly
Have to kill just to prove that something exists,
Life is mystery, beauties accent quality, and
Freedom is a God given right, not to be taken
Away lightly, with a single bullets flashing’s strike.
Look within the eyes of the beast, to her kind
We are the true animals, invading her kindred’s
Environments.
In the forest wilds here the screaming cries of the
Missing extinct, raging at their iron bars of the
Forgotten species, as the last one falls, do we
Not hear their bodies hitting the floor of existence.
Are we not the intelligent ape, whom climbed down
From the trees, and walked upon two legs of knowledge,
Nay do I ponder these questions?
In the linkages of legacies frame work, a divine welder
And craftsman decides the lines of survival not mankind.
A harsh fact in realism, tomorrow we may become the earthen dust
Blowing in the winds of destiny, joining the dinosaurs of yesterday.
Man or myth, fact or fiction, a primitive walking legend,
A photo vision of realism, or fraud’s conception of the
Ultimate hoax gone wrong, evolution's unseen experimental
Beast, lying in the hallow shadows of discovery.

.In the forest thicket, the hunters stalk the forests unknown,
And there huddled together are the cryptic, hugging
Their young tenderly ever closer to the bare bosom, hushing them
To remain silent, for mankind draws ever nearer.
Man or myth, fact or fiction, a primitive walking legend,
A photo vision of realism, or fraud’s conception of the
Ultimate hoax gone wrong, evolution's unseen experimental
Beast, lying in the hallow shadows of discovery.

Carolyn Devonshire

This is one of my favorite poems by Carolyn because she makes no judgements, and she offers an enlightened view of what we understand and do not understand, making her point in a logical manner with compassion for all beings. Her insight into the our world and other realms or unseen dimensions shows her great understanding of humanity and beyond. I adored this poem when I first read it and seem to glean more and more from it with each additional reading. Her enthusiasum for the joy of life pours out from every line in celebrating the contrast of other worldly beings, that we might live side by side with in harmony. A very beautiful inspiring poem that shines a bright light on ignorant views.

El Diablo

Someone alert the villagers,
El diablo and his demons
are on the loose spreading lies,
pitting all the lovers against each other...

Someone call the curendero
to pitch fire under his cauldron,
to pick the sacred peyote,
and mix the elixer of ancient knowledge...

Tell him to consult the los espiritus,
to call upon los ancianos,
to seek their wisdom and guidance
on how to run El diablo out of town...

The lovers are experiencing self-doubt
believing all the lies the demons are spreading,
we will meet down at the ancient well
where the honey bee and butterfly labors furiously...

We will sing to the stars,
and pray for much lluvia,
to cleanse the village
and to start a new moon...

Then all lovers will speak the language of amor,
they will hold hands and kiss in the moonlight,
El diablo and his demons wiil leave the village
because el verdadero amor conquers all...

America Needs a Reprieve

Posted on Christmas Eve, happy cuz Trump soon leaves
America finally gets a reprieve from the lies he weaves
Well, pardon ME if you disagree, but he's one and done
He's been pardoning crooks, murderers, daughter & son
giving the phrase, "Who let the dogs out?" the answer
It's the narcissist who infected the country with cancer

It's time for a celebration and Happy New Year to cheer
A new President will reside in the White House next year
Trump will have to vacate his throne. It's been conferred.
No fraud took place or election rigging. That was absurd!
Joe Biden will be moving into 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue
Uniting our country without Trump's drama and ballyhoo

What a poor example he's been as a leader; head of state
America was better off before he said he'd make it great.
Move along with your counterfeit tan and puckered mouth
Take your cocky kids with you as you putt your way South.
Let's hope once he's gone, out great nation will soon heal
with a commander who can keep our ship on an even keel

"Trump's descended into madness," "He's lost his mind"
Recent headlines that his supporters will claim are unkind
but considering the mess he's made of many vital issues,
the only sympathy I can offer them is a box of tissues
The oval office will need steam cleaning and fumigation
No portrait of him to hang. Let him take that to litigation!

It's reported Trump is headed South, to his Florida estate
His new slogan, just released: "Trump 2024 ~ DONATE!"
He's spent more time golfing than acting like a President
His Mar-a-Lago neighbors don't want him as a resident!
The worst possible fraud committed in the last four years
is the fake role he played, condoned by Republican peers

It won't be smooth waters for a while because of the scum
he's left behind; that shameful man, that do-nothing bum
America has been stumbled from each inept Trump blunder
pitting brother against brother; he's ravaged us all asunder
He once said the world was laughing at our great nation
The truth is they laugh at him; a presidential abomination
