Best Pancake Poems
Today it’s Pancake Day and there’s to be a pancake race
Entrants are on the starting line with a smile upon their face
Old Ted ‘s ready with his frying pan, he is a fat old josser
but when it comes to pancakes, Ted’s an expert tosser
The gun goes BANG and off they go, Ted’s busy tossing away
busty Bertha's in the lead, if she wins there’ll be hell to pay!
Ted’s won the race the last five years, he tosses night and day
the trophy’s been on his top shelf, he hopes that’s where it’ll stay
Bertha stumbles, her pancake drops and she begins to cry
Ted sneakily stamps on her pancake; he’s such a crafty guy
The finishing line is in sight, there’s about fifty yards to go
Ted frantically tosses his pancake; his wrist goes fast not slow
Bill makes a sterling effort and comes at Ted from behind
they toss their pans in unison; Bill's got winning on his in mind
Ted lunges at the white tape, but the result’s declared a draw
Bill suggests they have a ‘toss off’ - there’s not been a draw before
Both men take a breather, awaiting a fresh pancake to toss
if either of them drops their pancake it will be a great loss
Both men stand on the finish line and flip and toss like mad
neither of them will concede, whoever loses will be quite sad
A crowd gathers, all eager to know who’ll be crowned the winner
suddenly a seagull swoops and grabs Ted’s pancake for its dinner
Ted starts to shout and stamps his feet when it’s announced Bill's won
he takes it all too seriously, but Bill declared the toss off was such fun!

Simmering,hot, pancakes, flushed.
Battered, beating, bruised,
Syrup, sweet, melted, dripping,
Brown now, peeling, ripping
Dark berries, smashed oozing bluish - black red,
Hands and words tossed instead,
Pancake Burnt! Pancake dead!

Pancake Batter Bessie
She makes flapjacks so fine
Avoiding corn syrup
With Tabasco, liver and onions sublime.
We try to stop her
But she is obtrusive and a ghost
Where we make our own batter
We hide it with our toast.
For Bessie will take that batter
And add extra stuff galore.
Peanut butter and sausage
Corn, pickles, oranges and more.
Bessie empties our pantries in the middle of the night
And grills up inventive pancakes that fill every counter in sight.
Our mother has asked her to stay out of her kitchen.
Pancake Batter Bessy’s creative juices can’t for they are always itch’n.

Rhyme
There are tears mixed
into the pancake batter
sun is still obfuscated
by the window shades
without sunshine, I still
wind up a morning person
Tobacco clings to me,
where your scent would be
sewn with many memories
into the mesh of myself
a premature family crest,
stained and worn
The new day shows
only one outcome remains
the eggs are runny,
my nose sniffles into an arid oasis
no sunny side seems
to show up these days
I wake up to an empty pillow,
your space hollow through
but I still cannot but help myself
from making breakfast for two.

You look so yummy
I want to see how you taste
Be my mu shu pork.
I'll wrap myself around you.
I want to be your pancake.

Pancake is one of my favorite foods for breakfast.
Formulas are original or whole wheat.
A definition for pancake is a round, flat cake.
Its buttery aroma fill the kitchen.
To prepare pancakes, mix the ingredients in a large bowl.
Flour, milk, egg and oil are the principal components.
Mix the batter until it doesn't have lumps.
Fillings can be added as chocolate or fruits.
Heat the skillet or frying pan to a low frame.
Melt a pinch of butter over.
With a large spoon, pour a small amount of the batter
to form pancake.
Cook each side of the pancake until is golden.
Remove the pancake from the skillet or frying pan.
Pour all pancakes on a plate.
Add over pancakes maple syrup.
Eat the fluffy pancakes.

Slowly We Are All Falling,
Some Just Quicker Than Others,
Some Will Have An Arm To Grab Before Hitting Bottom,
Some Never Bothered To Pack A Parashute,
And The Others Are Just Enjoying The Fresh Air On The Way Down,
Awaiting To Become A Pavement Pancake
If we have a hand to hold us we may never had fallen
And if we had an ear lent someone would have heard cries for help
My parachute is broken, no ever listened, and the held let go of me
Before we, land the only thing left to think is,
i wonder if anyone has any maple syrup

Dramatic Monologue
You want her love
through her desire,
Her love of food
Is too your good
Get the mIx right
Flour is your welcoming arms
Eggs the desire in your voice
Milk the kisses you bestow by choice
Make a perfect batter
Make a homely place with your arms
Slowly add the kisses one by one
Followed by loving whispers enjoy them
Mix it well
Add flowers to her bed
Hold her hand show her the way
Fold her close to you yes she will stay
Getting warm
Her body is ready
For whatever filling you choose
You are both hungry, with nothing to lose
Which filling are you
Are you the sweet kind
All goodness and light
Or the savoury filling that lasts all night.
Remember not to burn
Don't over cook
Trying too hard on a hot heat
Slowly cooked makes it more of a treat
Your hooked
So successfully done
Your filling was first class
She is yours, no one can surpass.

A view from a teaspoon selection is very spellbinding indeed. Half a cup of multicolumns and a pint of milk singing and swaying together. It takes much effort to pick up a seed. Much kilograms queuing for weight is to wait and to wait is to wave five hundred times at a doorway. Putting pet fish in a cistern whilst flushing is stupid, and cruel, and rather unnecessary for cleaning the tank. But bringing a bull into the house will promote heating. Specialized agencies of horn fur and raged eyeball in a coat. OBE in a tree. Sittingbourne sitting down. A pile of curtain cloth should be ample material to wipe away smears and residue of acidic peelings, nine metre forts of brain, televised episodes of epics, and balls of glowing colourful spinning radishes. Enter then leave. Mesmerizing merrymaking men make monsters. Mainly in a red reflection. Hum the twenty song loudly. All together. Detract no horror but horror is often hidden in even the most sparkling paper tissue. But the calling from the bead of time, that bell in the breeze. Will ensure a cake gives news that is sufficiently correct. Justification then. Good. At last the commas play with the full stops peacefully. Fantastic isn't it? Ha ha ha ho ho ho and a flow from a cactus in a nice crown. Ha ha ha but no ho ho whistling waters with wanton soup. Xxxxx anthropologist z z z z z z z z z Z!.¥~¥~¥~_^>

Pancake Gorilla Onion
It is obvious, the connection
Pancake, gorilla, onion
Walking down the street of all conclusions
Closed in on all sides by saffron meadows
On all fours if you like
Reached before the end
Hidden below the surface
All words emerge sooner or later
What's next on the agenda
Do you expect us to believe
Troglodyte, ash tray, light bulb
Don't say I didn't warn you
Is ash tray even a word
Bless me with the metal aspergillum
Holly water thirsty first
How ridiculous that sounds
Pancake gorilla onion
Will have the final word
*Authors note: aspergillum is a real word. You have to dig a little bit to find it. It is a religious metal device or object used to sprinkle holy water at religious ceremonies.

Ahh yes, our friend of course, the Pancake
Fluffy and accommodating
A stack of love for you and me
Ffffff..flip it! Yeah!
I pour you on a hot griddle
A light-brown face
Of total acceptance
Yes, of course, I’ll have another
Please love me
Like I love you
Your varied shapes
I gobble up, always grateful
A friend with a riddle
A friend on the griddle
I’ll never forget you
Our friend… the Pancake

Do I want a waffle, or do I want a pancake?
Do I want a black eye, or do I want a belly ache?
Do I want an Edsel, or do I want a 'Vette?
Should I take a Train, Or fly in a Jet?
Is the weather cold outside, or is it very hot?
Is there boogers in my nose, or is it just some snot?
The bed is very soft, and I cannot sleep so sound
I should leave the city, and move myself downtown
If you have an Apple, and your grades are low
give it to the teacher, and cover it with snow
Dazzle'em with brilliance, and never let it show
that if you had any brains, it would surely show
So if the preachers talking, and you are drawing breath
it was exaggerated about your timely death
your mother told you plainly, an orphan you would be
if you did not dot your "I's", and cross your capital "T's".
so listen very carefully, and try to imagine how
you do not live in the past, your life happens now
