Falling from cloud 10 (a self rejection collaboration)

King Mandalay!

Poet Destroyer, I want to tell you this
My heart is not ready to sing
I will always seal my love to you with a final kiss
So you can always feel you were once my everything

I am sorry I was too much for you on your lonely night
My ego is too strong for you to be with someone like me
Sorry, my heart beat will set you on cloud five away from the light
It's not you my love I need more dots to see

PD, It is not easy to feel overzealous
I became paranoid with this system that glistens
A friendship I destroyed by the thought that made me jealous
P.D., I don't think we could ever be friends I never did listens

My ways ruined the perfect expression of a perfect emotion
Once again what could have been a nurtured affection I ended
You will never again see the moon to my ocean
I will leave you now on cloud 5 hoping you don't feel offended

Poet Destroyer

King Mandalay, you’re my love and will always be my desire
With an endless world of possibilities you will forever own my heart
My heart for you will always burn with an eternal fire
I place my hand on my broken heart to another lonely street

Never will my heart beat feel complete
You were such a gift I did not want to live without
Without you I will go back to my cloud 5 the abyss of delete
I gave you my heart to the fullest, now why so much doubt?

King Mandalay, you spin my head round and round
Like a kaleidoscope ever color will crash above
You dropped my heart from cloud 10 right into the ground
Our friendship connected our fate into a promise of broken love

The gravity between me and you was really true in my heart
My lost emotions will break my unity to survive
You are the devil who ripped out my best body part
My energy will dive back into cloud 5 where life in no longer alive

Ride of the Scarecrow Clan

(To: Mittens)

She was born in the corn on a cold misty morn,
the most beautiful cat on the farm.
(I must keep her from coming to harm!)
The most beautiful kitty inspired this ditty
with whiskers that whisper her charm,
wild white whiskers that whisper her charm.

But the angels grew jealous, much too overzealous,
they schemed up a dastardly plan,
that they stole from a medicine man.
They would use and abuse all their magic, so tragic,
to conjure the Scarecrow Clan,
for their devilish dastardly plan.

The Clan owed them a favor for past misbehavior,
behavior so foul and so cruel,
they would ride when moon became full!
When the moon elevated they rose animated
to drown Mitten’s in the cesspool.
As they hunted they started to drool.

Hunting high, hunting low, riding ‘round to and fro,
the Clan frantically searched helter-skelter,
for young Mittens who found a safe shelter.
As they howled and they growled all the air became fouled,
but they couldn’t find Mittens’ safe shelter.
“When we find her, in acid we’ll melt her!”

Could these four scarecrows stoop to even new lows
as they hunt by light of the moon?
(Better hurry the dawn will come soon!)
Long they hunted and haunted but she was undaunted,
she laughed at the bumbling buffoons,
while she purred out some kitty cat tunes.

Curled with grace in a space near the warm fireplace,
for the Scarecrow Clan fears the fire.
(Just the thought of it makes them perspire.)
Low they lurched as they searched in the fields near the church,
growing desperate, dejected, and dire,
for the sunlight will make them expire.

Then dawn broke Night's dark cloak with a big puff of smoke
as the angels’ black magic was shattered,
and the Scarecrow Clan riders battered.
Under natural law the Clan turned back to straw,
and their straw o’er the cornfield was scattered.
She'll be safe now and that’s all that mattered.

Bipolar

Belligerent and irritated by almost any little thing
Insaneness all around me; craziness is what I bring
Psychosis is not the problem; the problem lies within
Overzealous personality; much absorption sinking in
Liar, cheat and manipulator; trust you should not give
Ambition at its lowest; no longer wanting to live
Racing thoughts; trying to unwind an ultimate goal for an unstable mind

what ever is going on
in that joyful
little brain of yours

only six years old
and you’re brimming
with imagination
a vivacious fantasy world
in those big bright eyes
and words spewing out
like an overzealous fountain

a bottomless sense
of giddy humor
a full-blown half-pint comedian

The Universe has Feelings too

Our inception was a mystery
"A big bang theory" Some suggested
" A Super being" above the clouds" Some lamented
we watched the creatures debate over our existence

Born in a family of ten and raised from a distance
Watched over by our father during the day
while mum took over the night duties

Our Sisters's jaw dropping beauty invited the overzealous creatures
The genesis of their friendship seemed sweet but turned sour
Their insatiable hunger for exploration grew by the hour
Her troubled existence had only began

They exploited her hospitable nature and stripped off her beauty
The green gown that covered her nakedness, stripped in the name of civilization
Her waters that sparkled, darkened by the juice extracted for their automobile's
Fumes from their industrial machines aiming at her blue and white veils, destroying the fragrance of her ozone layer..

We watched with pain and in silence
We had no mode of mobility to render a helping hand
Father’s anger started growing by day as he watched with detest
For a number of days he gave warning shots
The creatures experienced his anger so hot
But the warning fell short of their egocentric ego's
"Lets just call it "global warming" and pretend we are doing something towards it" they connived

Defiling my sister did not quench their thirst of exploration
They sent two men with wits to visit my mother
Trying to find out the secrets to her shinning face
As soon as they landed, they pierced her body with flags of achievement
It now became a race of who will defile her the most

As days pass we wonder who will be the next victim
Rumours have it they are eyeing one of our sister
Her genetic makeup is almost similar to sister's

I am afraid, these tears will never dry
These fears will forever be high
Our helping hand will remain shy
For we can only watch, as the cycle continues

Deception In Soup Creek

There once was a town called Soup Creek amiable and quaint
Filled with all these characters, a perfect picture they'd paint
It was founded to protect the innocent
Where one was welcome to come visit
A bold western saga exquisite
A Mayor, a Sheriff, a saloon proprietor
A bar owner, also a realtor
What comes next you can’t make it up, is true
A charlatan Sheriff who already knew
The saloon owner was a phony too

This is the tale what we thought a young fem,
Claimed she was being stalked by men
who used different user names
All the while she was doing the same
Many here feel used by her deception
Manipulated for her own protection
Even I was dragged in
To keep the adventure going
I was a bit overzealous
Got a vibe she was jealous
Cause I added a twist
And then there’s this…

Whose face is it?
Someone off the internet
Identity theft is what I saw
Or is madam above the law
I uncovered a foul devious charade
Just ego and hubris on parade
Meanwhile she had
Told a few folks who also were played

Madam’s her old self, and is back
With fists ready to attack
Writing about the value of friends
Pshaw, a victim again, it never ends
I don’t have the time for this
I’ll give it to you quick, Ma`am, Miss
What were you thinking, is it mental illness?
Tell the saloon owner, who invites us in for a drink
What in heavens name would Milton think?
I know I should move on gracefully
But it just didn't settle right with me
If lies and deception are your lot
At least you can try better not to get caught

A Conduit

A CONDUIT

This is the time when war should cease.
This is the time when those that seek inner peace should be appeased.
This is the time for metaphors to take life.
This is the times that integration is the religious defiance.

Time is the contrivance that drives the overzealous into purposeful endeavors.
Time is the vehicle that makes a mountain climber peak.
Time is the mechanism that means to fulfill some form of identity.

Time sets the stage.
People become proactive.
The world is the medium set forth.

Time is that moment in history that demonstrates some emotion that may only be felt.
Time is the element of life that shapes form.
Time measures the soul.

Whirlwind Courtship

Whirlwind courtship.
One morning she woke up
married to someone she’d not met -
an overzealous mother-in-law.
For twenty years now, she’s been
excluded from his family clan.
What a blessing in disguise!

Premium Member C'Est La Vie

I am perhaps a bit overzealous at times

But that's just the way I am and have always been

My love genes far outnumber all other combined

I'm certainly not complaining, my friends

But it can sometimes lead to a misunderstanding

That's the challenge that life can sometimes throw at us

To rise above it all with a "c'est la vie" attitude

Can be a daunting task at times

But the results will be a much happier existence

Does this sound like a lecture

Sorry, I can get carried away at times

Really want to pass along what life's experiences have taught me

As we journey through it, in what seems like

Blazing speed... no one gets out alive

So the best advice is to hang on and enjoy the adventure

It's a one time limited offer that expires far too soon

C'est la vie, mes amis, c'est la vie!

Walking On the Edge

Walking along, the edge of the cliff,
What is that prevents the slip?

The horizon beckons you to take a step,
Into the glory, of the dusky sunset;

You look, down, see waves, lapping rocks,
A thousand feet below the outcrop;

Seagull, feasting on overzealous fish,
Divine beauty and the beast;

Vertigo seems a lost affair,
You have conquered your visionary scare,

Surreal, as it appears to be,
The fresh wind kisses your face, from the sea,

You follow the wind path, and turn around,
Unfaltering, you take a stride back to known ground

Premium Member Enlightening Cavern

On a hot summer day in the hills
I went underground searching for thrills
Fifty Eight degrees year around
In the darkness, enlightenment was found
Down here is where it all began
Unearthed bones of earlier man
A small stream is what's left of the ocean
Hands of time, run in slow motion
Crystalline icicle looking stalactites
Meet and greet, ever growing stalagmites
Multicolored water drips like rain
To formations of colors with no name
The albino blind salamander commands
Sun starved creatures on diamond dust sands
And drip stones silently grow
Resident bats freely come and go
Ever changing pillars support a vaulted ceiling
Convenient and aesthetically appealing
Father Time spins his potter's wheel
His masterpiece is patiently revealed
Occasionally Mother Earth gets jealous
Becomes a tad bit overzealous
Withholding minerals he needs
He chisels sandstone as he slowly breathes
I think to myself, how ironic
This old cave drinks a mineral tonic
In human vanity, it's time we fear
Hence the beauty of millions of years

Poison Ivy of Assumption

Poison ivy of assumption
a seed transforms into vines
your very branches tread fine lines.

Cut off the ones that offend you.
Watch as the ivy desecrates the character you never were.
Hearsay convoluted, convictions flawed.
Are you so jealous or too overzealous?

Poison Ivy of assumption
ruthless as a boa constrictor.
Crack each bone to keep your namesake.
Lessening a stranger's significance
hoping to encapsulate foreign fences.
All for your self decadence?

Prey lay dying
decimation of their very character.
The ivy as a thief in the night.
Wearing its victims skin it entangles and destroys.

Poison ivy of assumption
is no stepping stone sacred with thee?
Every leaf a captured soul
in your self induced sheol.
Void of individual existence
tarnished and vindictive in your webbed realm of deceit.

Poison ivy of assumption
a cycle neverending
this much I know is true.
Still ever present around today.

As green meets green
as dawn meets dusk
as a star fires away from the sky.
I stand in truth to confront this ivy of assumption.
I'll stand neither by it nor for it.

Poison ivy of assumption.
None call it.
None escape it,
None miss it.

I require proof.
While you die in the lies that never was
and never will be.

Poison ivy of assumption
be my guest
but I won't be there to dine.

Final Exam

This mental scene came over me while finishing my abnormal psych final:
A pack of about 12 guys all wearing
Sweat pants and no undergarments
**** stars
No white dwarfs here...
They are headed into the strip club for a little fun.
I can visualize the suprise of the bouncers,
the patrons all have a look of protest,
but what are they really going to do?
The wads of cash in hand almost match their...
Oh, you get where I am going with this.
The next sequence for these guys is to chase some viagra
With a few tumblers of jagermeister.
Some of the strippers are going to have more fun
Than they've had since the Harlem Globetrotters were in town.
But poor Lil' Bunny;
It's her first night up there on the swirling stage,
And it's moving like an event horizon.
Her legs are stiff and they're not the only turgid things in this
Flesh arena.
The guys sense her freshness like Crocuta crocuta to the recent kill.
Earlier in the day,
The other dancers told ol' Lil' to really grind on the costumer's lap
In order to keep the money flowing-
"It clicks off the nerves in their brain and transfers all thought
South of the equator."
Yay!
Well, now she is has 12 overzealous guys waiting in queue
With big suprises for her,
And thin veils of cotton covering their junk.

...

I lightly chuckle in class, and then realize
I only have 20 minutes to finish this wonderful test.

The Wall

ripples in the wave resemble grains in wood
this wall is evil there's no trace of good
razor sharp claws curl pleading to fall
a face is forming fully you're seeing a skull
frightened the more you look the more it gains
pouring rain is its coarsing veins
it's storing rage and storming hatred
turning plentiful fields into morbid wastelands
more than wasting this is pure destruction
write a plea to the planet titled dear dysfunction
a pit full of overzealous jealous clammering
bringing each other down to snag a dream
living vicariously through a magazine
this hate shouldn't flow so avidly
but when you're up against a wall and you give it your all
there's still a damn good chance that wall might fall
