Bipolar

Belligerent and irritated by almost any little thing
Insaneness all around me; craziness is what I bring
Psychosis is not the problem; the problem lies within
Overzealous personality; much absorption sinking in
Liar, cheat and manipulator; trust you should not give
Ambition at its lowest; no longer wanting to live
Racing thoughts; trying to unwind an ultimate goal for an unstable mind

Welcome home, Stacy ... home to PoetrySoup where you can feel supported with all your insanity ... I know I have been and while I hate labels and don't have to own mine, the psychiatric profession should learn to love more and proscribe less ... LOL ... This is a very well-deserved feature this week and I congratulate you!!

"Racing thoughts" - I know the feeling. Hang in there and keep sending your words out for others to see. Take a look at my poems if you have a chance. Yours Matthew Anish

Stay focused Stacy. You bring something special to the table. Many cannot write or express their emotions. One of my favorites when I was a kid, Connie Francis, battled depression and being bipolar, while also being very successful. Some of my favorite kids can go from zero to sixty in seconds but ya gotta love 'em. Congratulations on being featured. God Bless. Vince
