Premium Member Daddy's Overalls
My daddy was my loved hero
when I was a tiny sprite.
To walk along beside him, was
for me a great delight.
I loved the swish of overalls
as he carried in the milk.
To me the sound was sweeter
than the soft rustle of silk.
I wondered why my...

Hair In Red Overalls
I

I knew a time when my sister, tall and fair
with her sage sense of humor, dull and non-existent
Seemed positively,
metallic, blessed with flowing shackles, a gift, extended only to me.
Limiting my growth past 8 years, haunting my dreams until age 21...

Nature's Overalls Overall
In the West it seems frost and jingle bells
In the East its now the hot sunshiny spells
Yet the dells look fabulous
whether quilted in snow

Overalls Redux
In college I wore overalls

Premium Member Blackberry
It's early yet for picking,
Only one black kiss
At the end of pinky clusters,
First fruit,
Faceted like flies' eyes.

The biggest are up too high,
In too far, where snakes live.
Somebody could lose their balance,
Fall inside.
Somebody could get trapped in brambles.

She used to...

Man In Green Vs Green Snake
A man in green overall
With  a  green walking stick
Was near the green garden.
A green bird on the tree saw
A green snake in the green garden,
And sung to warn the man
about the danger.

A man was clueless about
the green...
