Best Outweighing Poems

Premium Member Unstoppable Self

Today, i did get one year older...
Not anymore like a little toddler..
Right unto my two shoulders..
Not pebbles; nor stones; nor even boulders..

Boulders, not of familial responsibilities..
Rather it's outweighing my uncertainties..
Focusing myself to assets not of liabilities..
Uncovering, realizing my possibilities...

Vaguely maybe our future..
It's alright: soon it will be cleared as pictures..
Strong and aggressively acts like vultures..
I am more than them, as I am God's creature..

Distractions; ammunition alienation..
I do not agree even to imitation..
Continuously breathing in exaltation..
I do not mind if I'll be in exhaustion..

I denounce anything primal..
Yet, i still pray for all criminal..
Sometimes, i use to cope by denial..
Surpassing with all my might from any trial..

The love with in me is too compelling..
I can not stop cause I'm too willing..
As high as the enlightened ceiling.
I will respond politely and bravely to any calling...

Obsession

Obsession with "O's"

Oh, obsession’s obfuscating oligarchy
Oceans of oblivion
Outrage in ostentatious obsession
Overrun in hurricanes named obdurate and obstinate
Overtures of oxidized compulsive orchestration in
Obbligatos overflowing obituaries -
Overbearing octaves of the obsequious –
Orations of overt objections
Objectivity overpopulated by opportunistic obtuse –
Obsession outweighing optimist’s objectives –
Openness offspring overrun by
Ominous hunters of sweet oblations ordained
Oscillating between logic and obsession unchallenged
Orthodoxy obscures opportunity
Officially ostracizes open-mindedness –
Original the outsider - occupied the outlier -
Observes only obstructive operations
Obedience to the one-track offertory
Of overstocked outdated ordinances,
Offshoots of outmoded operatic ornaments
Odious opium overdose of the obscene
Onyx odors overpowering odes
Offered on the altar of originality -
Obliterating oligarchy of obsession

Sexualizations 5

Say whatever you want to say,
Explaining how you feel inside;
X-rated rants, that make men hide
Underneath the covers all day.
A bone shaking, back breaking stay,
Luring me to your trap, when wide,
Instantly making my pen glide,
Zestfully, where ever it may.
Appealing to body and soul,
This activity brings us joy.
Instincts begin to play their role,
Outweighing the need to be coy.
Near the end, I reveal my goal,
Savoring the skill of my ploy.

Taking Care of Insects At Sea

The battle raged on, the artist uninjured, but soaked in blood,
The dead and dying, cursed by good aim they still feel.
The valley split by the cool of water…and a crimson mud
The noise of the pain outweighing the wielding of steel.

There were no more threads to sew, the material wastefully torn.
No more linen to lay on mortal wound and gall,
The saws blunt, the scalpels deader than the fallen,
The horror of man ‘gainst man, pride before their individual fall.

The other helpers in the task, saw not Dioscorides pale,
Step back from the still cooling form before him, and slowly stroll
Towards the hillside peak, clothed in green veil,
A journey to another place, forgetting life lost, and clotting on his sole.

The smell of desecration, and the noise of conflict, abated
As he crested the hill and waded across the stage.
The sun slowly setting, the grass beginning to wave, fated.
The trees whispering, his thoughts clearing from the rage.

His vista escape from the scene unreal, and sad,
An accident of a creator wanting to flee.
A journey of discovery, a dream to be had,
Revealed a singular white kermes coated tree.

He would leave here in a short time, never to re-appear,
Where peace replaced the hate on the other side of the glen.
He would remember, and with a vision clear, on canvas reinact the fear
Of the boys drowning in the cochineal river, never to grow to be men.

( Based on the life of Pedanius Dioscorides...a soldier, physician and artist...this poem is based on his walking away from a battle where he was the surgeon, and discovering the kermes beetle on a cactus, and which he took some home to Greece...The beetle is the same one where we obtain cochineal for red food colouring.. )

Premium Member Feeling Green

I see with new eyes now
why you needed me
to be red
and not so green,
possibly obscene

And why now
my greenness has escaped
into your undeniable public domain

My lack of straight-up red
bloodiness must be my demonic
devious
demented
degenerate choice.

And yet
you become harder now
still denying green co-investments,
too
could be healthy thrival
and good revival

So trust in truth
became more imperative
to be dogmaticvally sure
I made a wrong
and nasty choice
to be not red
or preferably dead

And if not manly sure
then what else did all these pastors
maybe not get monoculturally
monotheistically right
by never listening
panentheistic
mindfully also win/win left?

What Othering abortions
might you need to question
if red could be wrong?

When mean to green
not just mistrust separate
but red superior

Like humans
are to mammals
and lesser nonpartisan
sentient beings,
like sunflowers
and lilies

MotherTrees
in resonant
fragrant
cool grace-forests

Preoccupied by predations
with allies,
micro-aggressions,
win/lose-diplomacy,
crime prevention
monocultures of punishment
from Divine Empowering Light
outweighing trauma prevention
sacred green win/win
emotional/contextual intelligence

Not quite so paternalistically precious,
mindful of humane grace
through peak cooperative experiences
repurposing EarthTribe's sacred
seeding space.

So I seed now
why you needed me
to be red
and not so green,
possibly obscene,
because this worldview
could not have been challenged
within your straight white male
chauvinistic non-choice.

Lifacide

Everyday is a battleground, I fight for every breath,
struggling to keep the pain of life from outweighing the finality of death.

Premium Member I Knew Her Once

I knew her once,
But it was a long time ago.
Yet she knew me better,
    Than my own ego.

I knew her once,
    With few memories to pass.
Though her beauty and elegance,
    Remained with her class.

I knew her once,
    Realizing it wouldn't work.
As failure became manifest,
    Outweighing any perk.

I knew her once,
Well enough to leave a mark.
One that couldn't be erased,
    And never create a spark.

I knew her once,
When she was beyond any rage.
Where a calm and measured jury,
    Would convict any age.

I knew her once,
Before my love could be free.
Only to doubt it would return,
And if it did . . . empty?

I knew her once,
    While sharing great pain.
Though sadly, little joy,
    As if an unsightly stain.

I knew her once,
Yet when it was over, we were broke.
While traveling separate ways,
As if all a big joke.

I knew her once,
    And that once was enough.
Since I couldn't take anymore,
    I'm just not that tough.

Premium Member Beacons

I stand before the ocean
a lone beacon
enduring the crash
of relentless waves
absorbing their hidden secrets

Weighted whispered woes
and carried calls for compassion
wear on fragile shoulders
gritting truth behind a smile
where withering resilience hides

Navigating the intentions
of those with insatiable thirst
narcissists crave to drain
the vulnerable empath
standing alone in constant company

Lightly treading depths
lost in a running river
I can walk away
but stay submerged
as boundaries dissolve

An empath has no option
dwelling in cores beneath spongy skin
innately woven in veins
flowing with the essence of others
outweighing mere empathy

Yet, beyond colliding tides
a distant, soothing glow
from a familiar lighthouse
emits an ease of missing peace

A suffering human
aches to be known
by those who know

Closing Time

I Run; Panting; Rushing to be on time.
My cart's wheel screaming clicketty clack
Hurrying through darkened city streets and alleys.
Gnawing Hunger outweighing my fear of red-eyed rats
as scents of tonight's meal fills the midnight garbage bins.

The Man Who Serves Me Coffee

Monotonous repetition
“I want, I want”
The faces begin to blur
Features eventually disappear
Their voices, now a constant buzz
Outweighing his thoughts
The only other sound he hears is the ever slowing ticks of time,
Inescapable.
His life has become
A faded numbness,
A passionless spiral of motions
Tick, tick.

What lies beneath his sullen shell?
Tattered camo memories
or the loss of a love true?
She wonders, sitting in the corner booth.

A Frozen King

This realm of steel ice can get unbearable
Everything that I am is locked inside a sub-tolerant shell
Captured away from the visible grounds I had roamed
Seen countless opportunities and yet they passed by and lost
I can say I was born ahead of my time; if it were possible
Then why could not I exist in the next 20 years
Here I am with a mature heart in a misshapen body
An exposed body dictating and outweighing my crippled mind
My kingdom feels empty in these shady concrete layers
And vulnerable of not having my possible righteous queen
I say hello, pardon me and such but they were all ignored somehow
So every shatter I get, the pieces remain the make me stare
Lets me remember how my kind is getting extinct by the constant
A man’s thoughts are no more appealing for their ears
Then many would question why I’m in these ways of silence
Well the point I am soundless is because your ears are closed
So there’s no point to acknowledge when you don’t want to open
Therefore here’s another monument of what a loyal man should be
Here stands the king of a thousand wishes for all time
Until there is that one woman who can make them come true
Who pauses out of time and gaze into these eyes
She’ll look for what I venture for when I stare into hers
My hearts hopes for her precious love to melt me free
Free from this banishment and finally crown my only love highness

Too Many

one too many times
one too many times
you have stepped on my feet
stabbed me in the back
and made me out to be the fool that i am not
two too many times
two too many times
you have made me cry
made my head hurt with thoughts of your lies
now i feel like the idiot that i wasn't born to be
three too many times
three too many times
you have made my soul wished that i had never met you
now all i have is bad thoughts outweighing the good

Ledger

eventually, you have to give back
for something that you took
when you're totaling up the ledger
numbers in your account book
the columns are too long
no mathematical symmetry
debits outweighing credits
if you took more than you need

I'm not saying
I didn't see you flinch
I'm not saying
you weren't there in a pinch
I'm not saying
you didn't budge an inch
all I'm saying
is it shouldn't end like this
