On the black stallion of death,
Its red crimson eyes pierce through the night,
And the hell's beast breathes its hot brazen breath
Blazing against the darkness's chilling air!
Does he ride, this phantom of the dead,
Wielding vengeance's sword.
With one hand on the hilt of the blade,
The other arm reaching outwardly,
One finger pointing at his intended victim!
Screaming with a blood curdling howl,
Give me your head vermin, or I'll cut
It off myself, than laughing at their fear!
Beneath crimson fire moon, this hooded and caped,
Death's stalker, hunts down the innocent
Taking that which he desires the most
Their essence of life!
Run to the bridge's safety salvation lies
At the other end beyond.
For these waters cleansing baptism,
Could swallow him whole.
The headless horsemen cannot cross,
These blessed waves of sanctuary,
Or banished is he, hell bound for eternity.
This highway man, rides devastation’s
By ways, of the unknown.
Seeking to restore mind and body,
This Hessian with aggression,
Yearns for justices revenge, to what
Ends bequeath, he cares not, the price
To be paid, in human flesh and blood.
On Saint Hollows Eve, the horsemen
Gallops, across dead-man’s boundary,
Awaiting the stray trespasser, to trip into
His well-hidden trap.
Than striking without mercy's sake,
With its sharpened edge, steel slices
The mortal flesh, taking his prize,
The headless horseman rides away
Into the night.
Yelling, I'll return next Hollows Eve, be thee
So warned, for your salivations sake alone,
Don't tread in Sleepy Hollow after dark!.

In our Asian-cum-Eastern land
No one prefers or admires
the dark-skinned or tanned
Gosh, as if the fair-skinned alone
belonged to the so-called fairer sex
And here, 'black is beauty' a phrase unheard
All falling for the light skinned almost in reflex!
Bachelors on the hunt for a non-fictional Asian 'Snow-white'
Even an ugly heart will do if the skin is white, pale and light
For them lighter skin tis brighter and better at beauty
even if superficial and skin-deep
The dark-skinned maidens thereby left single to weep
But while the ebony dark- pigmented
go on applying whitening and lightening creams
The white Westerners frequented
the sunlit beaches for dark tans from sun beams!
So in westerners females wish to look browned and tanned
Thus the opposite is preferred
so to that end they may sun bathe for hours on beach sand
Ah and though from the point of view of my motherland
I am luckier that God chose
to model me from a peachy whiter lighter clay,
I still feel this tug-of-war between complexions
needn't really join the fray.
For when you and I glance at Naomi Campbell
we know beauty can be white, brown and black as well
Like love, beauty knows no colour, creed or race
As proved by this gorgeous black supermodel.
Besides, we all have come across
both dark-skinned angelic saints
and fair-skinned folks with sinner's taints
Ah, Black Beauty, or Fair and lovely
Beauty has never known any bounds
For God He distributed beauty rather equally
No argument can last on these grounds
Oh, a soulmate's inner beauty ought to be earnestly sought
Too bad lustful passions fall for those merely outwardly hot!
An angel smiled at me today,
I almost passed her by.
A tiny little slip-of-a-thing, swallowed by an oversized coat,
Face hidden by wind-tossed hair.
I wasn't thinking of whose she was,
Only that I was running late, vaguely annoyed at "whatever".
Unaware of passing lives also trapped in their own isolations.
Then I heard her laugh, freely, contagiously, the way I used to.
Fleeting resentment passed through my mind,
That I'd noticed. That I wanted to stop.
For a brief moment I was reminded of summer days, of climbing trees
And skinned knees.
Running through sprinklers and warm seas.
Memories made me stop and turn...
There she was.
Not more than six. Slipping between people who took no notice,
As if she was the mailbox on the corner.
Caught in her own sidewalk world of make-believe.
Chasing an unseen rainbow... and then she caught me watching.
Undisturbed, her face burst into a happy grin as laughter bubbled forth,
Her eyes glowing like Christmas morning.
Pushing the hair away that would not stay still, pausing in her solitary game.
That single moment when we took each other in seemed like lifetimes.
Something inside me quietly burst free.
I continued on my way, but the day seemed brighter.
Nothing had outwardly changed; I was still late, but I had the curious urge to skip to the corner;
To roll down a grassy hill and play hide and seek.
At the corner I turned just to see if she was still there,
To send her a silent thanks.
As if she heard, she turned... and an angel smiled at me, again.
"unfading music"
I hear music
softly she plays
within my soul
unfading she plays
within my heart
it matters not to me
when outwardly tunes cease
for it matters to me
music continues inwardly
amazing as it seems
birds know this
singing angelic tunes
in rhythm with rhyme
showing how to feel
with good graces
suns rise
moons beam
music unfadingly plays

Time and space in deadlock
Time unlike the progression of a clock
Time dependent on interpretation
A linear cessation
Space dependent on mass
Triangulation through impasse
Portals of acquisition
An inner self expedition
From a place in time
No origin or termination of the prime
To an interval in space
Where cosmos and time interlace
Affirmation of existential quantification
Often lost with one’s interpretation
Particles floating upon a solar wind
From and to infinity without an end
Matter casting shadows in time’s void
A whirlpool generating ripples outwardly deployed
Petite she may be, but her words say otherwise
Extremely intelligent, simply read through her writes
Themes of mix, appropriates my eyes
Inner thoughts of her peripheral, leaves me to sigh
Testament to her faith
Everlasting, it's in her eyes
Poetry plays a part, massively in her life
Outwardly there's that smile, wonderfully rife
Emitting, oozing warmth, infectious she be
Thermal is her heart, fusing you and me
Exceptional she, and she will become
She being the Petite Poetess
Simply, she's the one.
There are many genuine , good and kind people in our world
Who’s kindness, empathy and good deeds are apparent
Who give and help those in need without expectation
Their authentic , selfless, humble souls transparent
There are also those who voice all the right words
Yet their words and actions do not coincide
Outwardly spouting graciousness and compassion
Yet their actions and real truth lies inside
If your heart is truly open and sincere
Your virtues are beyond reach
Show it in your actions
And practice what you preach!
In my mind
Where silent thoughts
Reveal the truth, the depths
Of my hopes, dreams and feelings…
There is a piercing voice
One who announces my flaws
The faults which remind me that
I am human and humans err
Sometimes badly
Other times, sadly
And still other times, madly
I am a human and I stumble
Both within and outwardly
With mistakes and faults that feel
Like they may just penetrate
The very soul with their heartless
Vicious influence on my spirit
In my heart
Where emotions breathe compassion
And light illuminates wisdom
Giving grace to the sincerity
Of a faith that is more alive
Than the blood in my veins
In my heart
There are a million second chances
New thoughts and new directions
Opportunities for advancement
Assurance that I am someone
Who is like a light in the darkness
Spreading joy and rays of hope
Kindness that is flavored with thoughts
That bring calm to the chaotic
Enlightenment into sorrow and despair
Elation to the music and bliss to the song
Whispers of enthusiasm that dance
Through the heart’s shadows in silhouettes
Of pure wonder, pure pleasure, pure delight
In the depths of my soul
I can always know that this conscience of mine
Is alive with potential and vision
Warming the way toward God’s heaven
With a mountain of little lessons that tell me
I have learned, I have grown, I have become
A warrior in this weary old world
Where my heart, mind and soul always know
As I walk down this path of courage
Inviting my dreams to listen to the sound
Of a million trees coloring the wind
In hues of optimism, faith that sustains
And second chances to be who I am
When I listen to my conscious and my faith
Telling me to always do my very best
Reach out with an honest desire to be
The one God has breathed into me
The soul who only needs to hear with a heart
Who walks by the river of hope, faith and love
Bringing insight into the spirit kissed by God

Outwardly I may appear mildly angry.
Inside an inferno rages.
In my head the voices whisper,
and I fight what they tell me,
I blare music to drown it out.
Alone, I fight, as always.
I can't trust anyone enough
to let them in.
I play my part,
and I try hard to hide.
I staple my mask to my face
and the blood trickles down,
on the inside.
Running into my eyes,
filling my mouth,
and I suffocate on my emotions.
My heart slowly ices over.
I wake each day
hoping my mask won't slip.
Hoping I can control my panic
My despair, my numbness
My misery.
I paint a smile on my face,
on top of the mask,
while the battle rages on
in my mind.
The voices, they whisper,
they remind me
my guns on my desk,
my pills are in my drawer
They nudge at me while driving
one sharp turn
and I'll be no more.
I can't stop the pain
that's destroying me
Inside.
and still I fight.
Like chrysalises or cocoons,
Each day we grow plumper,
not as insects feeding on leaves,
but as humans
consuming the totality
of lessons learned from our life experiences,
for life is our chrysalises stage
in which we glean interests -
those things which feed
our soul.
From both the good and the bad,
we learn and we then choose
what our attitude will be
regarding all that we have absorbed.
Death is not an ending,
and though it may seem outwardly
that we wither away like wilted roses,
our souls are preparing
for an emergence!
We grow sick from aging
and feel sometimes like we
are hanging upside down.
Then comes that magical moment
of metamorphosis.
Our souls break free
from the flesh to which they've been tethered.
Our loved ones cannot see it happening,
but we begin to turn into beings
of light.
Butterflies, brightly illuminated,
we will fly to the home
which for a brief time on this earth
had been concealed from us.
At last the veil will fall
from our eyes.
Oh, open your spiritual eyes,
sweet butterfly,
and know with all your senses
(even those senses you’d forgotten
that you had previously possessed)
you are home,
and home is a glowing place of
all-encompassing
love.
We all relate to angels as cherubic little people but that is not all together true
There are angels inside of tall lanky men who look like they have no care in the world but have had an angel enter their hearts because of their own pain and suffering which has helped to make them such caring and loving people
The rough and tough man who looks like nothing could bother or hurt him who is a sweet soul that has also had his own pain and suffering and would hold a heart gently to keep it from hurting.
The ordinary man who has had no hardship but inside of him there is an angel's heart and wings beating so strongly that you can see the compassion in his eyes
Individuals like this are out there, not outwardly looking like angels, but the angel wings beat loudly and long inside their fantastic hearts
We all assume the outward appearances are the person but the angels are there
You just need to look for them to find them in the most unlikely people
I have seen my share of angels recently and I am truly blessed
We have a new diet created each day
With many saying you need to hear what I say
If we could cut out these foods
It might put all in better moods
A diet to conform to your body type
Why not jump on this train of hype
Are we more focused on the outside
Then what's being drawn in by the tide
We learn of foods that are good and bad
Without one are the other makes one sad
Get rid of the toxins unto fasting
To help the body evermore lasting
Many know in this poem for fun
I care more about how you look under the sun
How do we see and recognize foods that harm
And seek fresh food off the farm
But ,yet do not see what is out to destroy the soul
For the truth is in the scroll
Learning to fast from this world of destruction
While the inside is under construction
In quietness and standing still
With unblemished water to fill
Unto, God is given all glory
For , this is truth placed within not a story
To recognize the evil around us
That keeps many in division and fuss
We have been given access to defeat
With a new light unto thy feet
That in a world of chaos and sin
A newfound peace love and joy is there to win
?Isaiah 58:6 NIV?
[6] “Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen: to loose the chains of injustice and untie the cords of the yoke, to set the oppressed free and break every yoke?
Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day.

Being Taciturn
(TASS-uh-tern)
By: Miracle Man
8/29/2018
She’s often outwardly taciturn in a group setting,
Opting to be inconspicuous, “Like a fly on the wall.”
Being attentive to others while mentally vetting,
Often, her shorthand is chosen method of scrawl.
??Acts 10:28 NIV??
[28] He said to them: “You are well aware that it is against our law for a Jew to associate with or visit a Gentile. But God has shown me that I should not call anyone impure or unclean.
[34] Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism [35] but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right.
??Galatians 3:26-28 NIV??
[26] So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, [27] for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ. [28] There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.
??Ephesians 2:13-18 NIV??
[13] But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far away have been brought near by the blood of Christ. [14] For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, [15] by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace, [16] and in one body to reconcile both of them to God through the cross, by which he put to death their hostility. [17] He came and preached peace to you who were far away and peace to those who were near. [18] For through him we both have access to the Father by one Spirit.
This is found through the rebirth of the promised inheritance of The Holy Spirit to purify One into A Child of the Living God, that we might come in Unity, then One will not see the outside appearance but the inside that Gods spirit is dwelling and reigning within purifying unto the likeness of Christ. As ,gold going through a furnace burning out impurities to be brought out ,as a true pure gem shinning for God. From within flowing outwardly.
Watched the tourist families
As they strolled and shopped and sipped.
Without their masks, you might have thought
That Covid had been whipped.
They skated on the ice and bought
Hot chocolate and raclettes.
If germs were floating in the air
They didn’t feel their threats.
Yet all of my anxiety
Of Omicron infection,
Despite my jabs and distancing
And masks for my protection
Was not apparent, outwardly,
On anyone I saw.
I wish, like them, I could command
My worry to withdraw.
