Version 1

Broken souls and disillusioned dreams. Broken toys and angels without wings

Weep for the fallen brothers and infants without mothers

Pained tears encompass the empyreal rays. Pompous worlds painted in a destitute haze

Transmogrified in the iron flood. Transmogrified in the spilled blood

Frightened children flee from the impending devouring wails of the banshees

Captured children drown in the seas for the coming spring's garden poppies

Choked whispers, within frozen forgotten tale’s, the phantom spirits lurking behind the veils

The strong beguiled yearn for their thirst, obtaining the hero’s, plagued curse

A solitary cane and an abandoned house assembled upon soot

A dying hearth and a trembling shadow with crushed raspberries underfoot

Greet the honor, greet the madness, beat the dishonor, win the chalice

Defeat the grandest, apparatus, acquire all the treasure's honored status

Version 2
Broken souls and mutilated dreams
Broken toys and angels without wings
Weep for the vanished fallen brothers
And children without hope or mothers
Pained tears encompass the solar rays
A pained world in a destitute haze
Transmogrified, engulfed by the flood
Swept away and drowned in the spilled blood
Panic children flee from shadows
Spoils feed the seas of young willows
Choking whispers, frozen buried tale
The phantom spirits behind the veil
Strong beguiled only yearn for their thirst
Obtaining the hero's plague's cursed
Wooden cane and the house build on soot
Dying hearth and trembling bloody foot

"Time is the thief you cannot banish."
                                  ~ Phyllis McGinley, Writer, 1905 - 1978

When I was young and felt so alive with joy
knowing that blessings abounded all around me
I welcomed the moments, striving to know more
than merely a moment, but hours and months
soon I would know that years held most truths

One truth that sought me out from my thoughts
is the knowledge that time surely is like a thief
it takes from the heart and spirit all the hope
for second chances to relive the present day
knowing that what comes next will be old age

Time takes the present and makes it into the past
reminds us that we’re going to dash through seasons
without ever sewing all the seeds we may need to
never obtaining the harvest that we so desire to see
from hearts who have known us throughout our history

Awakening in maturity, ripe from all the pains we’ve seen
there is soon to be a living will and all other things that reveal
the sad and painful truth that we will only be on this earth
for a brief moment, hurrying through on our way to eternity
where we meet with the One who holds the key to our fate

Whispers of faith resonate through our spirits and teach us
to listen to the silence and breathe prayers into the heavens
where the miracle of life brought us to this place in time
painting mysterious hues of azure skies with iridescent light
compassion flowing from the One who gave us this time

Premium Member Somewhere In the Superlative

Somewhere there is the greatest day you will ever have
to mention this superlative does not convey by half
the exquisite satisfaction in obtaining your desire
freedom from cemented circumstance of which you daily tire.

Somewhere there is the greatest thing you will ever see
to dream and visualize it brings on pure insanity.
A picture deep inside your mind would cause the heart to burst
so, you try to give it little thought and let the fates rehearse.

Somewhere there is the finest moment ever to occur
that will change the charted course and cause new events to stir.
In a fashion that is favored by everything around
you’re astonished by your words and the power of their sound.

Somewhere there is the finest person you will ever know
you ‘ve felt them everyday develop, humanize and grow
by the many pains and challenges time has brought their way.
When you look into the mirror this will be your greatest day.

Ambition and U

Ambitions slide off the tongue as quick as they race through the mind
Ambitions of wealth, fame, health, and all that are sublime
But what is not perceive as recently is the will to actually achieve
The effort, dedication, and strenuous path one takes in order to succeed
Only you know what it really takes
To create, achieve and learn through your mistakes
Ambitions are great but don’t be naive

Proclaiming and having a desiring mind is a beautiful characteristic. However, when I hear
ambitions of some and see their actions taken to achieve goals, the term “you can talk the
talk but you cant walk the talk” comes to mind. That being said, as people we have to
obtain more drive and belief that we know we can achieve and then we have to take the
arduous path of actually obtaining it. For example, learning an instrument, second language,
defeating inner demons and addictions. Overall, I leave you with you with the saying “ you
just can talk the talk but you gotta walk the talk.” Not sure I explained what I really wanted
to say but I think you get the idea. lol love and peace

Porcelain Skin, Ceramic Hearts

Canvasing the world as we solder metal bandages to wooden wings

We attempt to cover pain by silencing what our scars sing

A noted tension with a vulnerable assist

Showcases hope and a life we refuse to resist

The porcelain skin that encompasses our ceramic hearts

Shatters with words, fragile from the start

We attempt to grow strong and bring misfortune to rest

Never acknowledging our torment in life’s daunting test

Powerful stances and barricaded walls

Provide the illusion of safety from the inevitable fall

We torture our minds with grace and self-worth

A future and freedom promised at birth

Together we provoke sanity and justifying results

But solely we fail due to committmentless faults

Pressure is applied for us all to do right

Causing the misery to show only at night

We lie restless, we toss, and we turn

Contemplating all failures and lessons we learn

Memories and dreams driven by desires and needs

Pose as the trough through which our fiction feeds

Obtaining the most out of life is what we all want

Hoping when we die it’s not viewed as a meaningless stunt

”Oh hermit, our eye cannot be single ~
unless polarities within mingle”
            ~ quote by poet

Narrow is our perception,
leading to misconception,
which if we take to be true,
makes delusional our view.

Sensory inputs and mind
an inexorable bind,
yet within the gap, the pause,
we may escape from its jaws.

Polarity interchange
frees our soul's cognition range,
by abiding in silence,
resting thought form violence.

Sans thought, awareness heightens
because load on heart lightens
but most take this as fiction,
due to thinking addiction.

To transcend mind, we rest thought,
whence no longer by fears fraught,
we see ourselves as we are,
luminous like yonder star.

What silence ushers is this:
we imbibe love, light and bliss,
which radiates within form,
propelled by magnetism warm.

Obtaining spherical sight,
entwined with bliss beat delight,
as we slowly come undone,
we see God and soul are one.

Looking back, we now can see,
that whence free from our mind tree
and on adding love to cart,
we sense God within each heart.

Address Me By My Name

I am black, I am not a curse
I would appreciate if you could stop
Addressing me as the world's worse
I am a human
So there isn't any need for you to treat me inhumane
Like you, I am a person who has a name
The color of my skin should not have to make me feel a shame
Nor should it give you the right to point, stare or give blame
Yes, I am black and I have a name
I am a human
Who is not a shame to say to others
I am a person with a name
Who has the right to be treated the same
So please stop making the color of my skin an issue
I am black and I am not a shame
So please address me by my name
I am black and yes, I have a wonderful name
Like historic and symbolic people before me
Who are the same and have great names
We are black, we are the same
I am Marcus Garvey, I am black, I can succeed
I am Jackie Robinson , I am black, I can achieve
I am Muhammad Ali, I am black, I can believe
I am James Baldwin, I am black, I can overcome
I am Bob Marley, I am black, I am a conqueror
I am Toni Morrison, I am black, I am ambitious
I am black, I am ambitious, I am a conqueror
I can archive
I can believe
I can succeed
I can overcome
Being black is not who I am, it's what I am
It's an awesome color that pushes me
Towards obtaining my dreams

Plastic Society

Tattle cries are just as loud as battle cries,
but the difference is
tears from mannequins dry on untouchable skin.
You may have a purpose, but your attempt at a movement
is motionless because your passion
is a carefully constructed image
replicated in a false ideology
that manifests into something specific
obtaining a manual manipulation.
A self servant visibility is indicative
of an egocentric personality and everything insinuated
to be perceptually believed as sacred
usually doesn't leave further than the tapping of your fingers.
You proselytize by regurgitating the ways
of a preferred deity and establish yourself
by turning your mirror to reflect the angle
of how you want to be seen and adjust your thoughts
for a higher seat in your vanity
in order to possess everything in your hypocrisy.
The feedback you get initiates a sedimentary mask
you proudly wear and give a name to because
as a statuesque representative in an upscale consumption
of physical and mindful gluttony,
it is the exemplary rock to inscribe your identity.
You disguise it as spirituality, enlightenment, or awareness
labeling it as politics, religion, parenting, racism,
abortion, extortion, activism, or sexism.
It does not, in anyway, alleviate
the struggling strong minded from with holding their weeps
on garments bled by friends in unsung tongues and private sin,
in time well spent where the secrets
of the heart are kept for keeps rather than exposed and disposed of
in a widespread generic documentary
for the world to see the effects of their warfare.
Where words of vulnerability and exposed nerves
are perceived as nothing but memes and black sheep
trying to be shepherds making lists of things
to better humanity in articles utilized by a machine.
As if the top ten life hacks will take neglcted children
out of the slums of a poor shack
and stop the hateful attacks on those who need welfare.
The bandaging by labeling and over medicating
will not eradicate the urgent need for eye to eye,
flesh to flesh, heart to heart
laughing, kind, grateful, melting of this
plastic society.

Premium Member Electricity Car-Show Me the Funny Part Two

I bought a used electric car, and not coz I’ve gone green
For there were better reasons for obtaining that machine.

I figured weekday mornings I could save some precious time
Transforming my used car into the voltage making line.

The first thing that I added was a GFI outlet
That was capably installed by my second cousin Brett.

I then hooked up my toothbrush and put in what I loved most
A shiny, stainless, four slice, brand new toaster for my toast.

I couldn’t charge my razor since there wasn’t any space
So I plugged in an adaptor that should cover every base.

No sooner did the mini fridge take up the whole back seat
The juice and bread and butter filled its 1.5 square feet.

Last of all I mounted a new flat screen on the dash
And don’t you know that luxury depleted all my cash.

A light went on inside my head conveying some green scams
Like selling drinks and other things while stuck in traffic jams.

Or maybe my good neighbors would be inclined to pay
For running cords to their machines while parked in the driveway.

One day I found that my car had a convertible top
When too much steam from the popcorn machine made the top pop.

And that mishap was followed by a nippy, drenching rain
Shorting my ‘lectronics; going green can be a pain.

After that the batteries did not hold a single charge
Forcing me to lug the heap to an auto salvage yard.

Someone asked why I didn’t start with a Winnebago
Coz I had fun driving something green as a tomato.

Success Without Failure, Isn'T Success

As I sat feeling lost and defeated
Conversing with an old friend
He offered words of encouragement
And this is how he began

My dear, life is far from simple
And it's more difficult the higher you go
For the more you learn, attempt, and obtain
The more hatred people will show

Always give yourself a chance
Don't give up before you begin
It may seem to be a feat in the beginning
But it'll be worth it in the end

Sure, sometimes you will face struggle
And yes, sometimes you'll even fail
However, it's those that stumble and continue on
That will conquer and prevail

Still, once you've reached the top
You're bound to fall and retreat
Yet, the key to obtaining success
It to get back on your feet

So give it an extra effort
Don't hesitate or refrain
Because without some type of loss
There will never be any gain

Enchanted Voyage

Aboard the Magnolia paddle steamboat
Bound down the Mississippi River
Carrying its precious cargo
Daring anyone for a challenge on her beauty and speed
Enchantment captivates guests of its breathtaking beauty a
Fortune spent to showcase and entertain in its
Grand elegant saloon with carved gilded mirrors
Hanging far above glimmering crystal chandeliers with flickering candle flames
Illuminating dramatic sparkling rainbow colors
Jump and dance with the excitement of the room
Keeping my place longing to melt into the
Laughter of the guest I listen to
Music that plays and sings its melody to the
Night’s mysterious shimmering sky
Obtaining consolation with
Paced movement sounds of the paddle wheel that lulls me into serenity
Quietly meandering slowly coursing down the muddy banks of the Mississippi River
Riding down to its adjacent towns
Savoring the faint breeze scents of the warm night air
Teasing the romantic scenes
Unique moonlight reflecting shadows cast by hanging limbs
Vulnerable to the rendering of the imagination
Whimsical Xebec shape illusion mysterious
Xenomorphic behavior
Yearning for a never ending voyage ride
Zest only of pleasure

The Blind Man of Tougan

A blind man fell into a pit
In a public garden in Tougan
Can I pull you out?
Shouted a passer-by
No! He shouted and screamed and lamented;
I prefer starving to death in this pit.
Why not jump out and save your life?
No! B’cos I have loved without obtaining love.
Don’t you know Mr. Blind man!
That Love is blind?
Yes! Love is blind,
But the blind is not loved.
So I have chosen intentionally
To end my life in this pit,
When he was rescued by the police
He cursed and promised to kill the constable
Who pulled and forced him out.
This blind man,
Is a crazy blind man of Tougan.

A Poem To Love

A Poem to love

To day I am placing here a great Hindi poem of a renowned poet
Translated by me as a poem which I hope would touch your mind
And heart intensely.
From the day I read this poem in between a play its wordings
Have touched me very deeply.

Since the poem is a beautiful piece of poetry by a great Indian
Hindi writer, poet, dramatist and story writer I am trying to
Bring its translation as much I could make from my mind without
Claiming that this is the best.

Brief background story for poetry soup lovers to judge the poem
In light in the light of its real beauty:

The heroine who was in the age of sweet sixteen was in love
With someone very intensely, but his actual lover ask her to
Show her love for someone else for obtaining a greater result
For the sake of his motherland and the heroine tries to love
Some one else, who asked a price for the same and gave only
Pains and agonies to her. But, when she sees her actual love
Her hearts is willing to welcome him and how- you will see
In this beautiful poem:
Translation of the poem of Jai Shanker Prasad a great Hindi poet.
Jaishankar Prasad (January 30, 1889 – January 14, 1937),
one of the most famous figures in modern Hindi literature

“Intoxicated by the wine of youth, in the age of sixteen
She cared only to love
And to whom she should give her heart,
She had no desire to know
And the one to whom she sold her precious heart,
Was asking a price for the same
The greedy even took away
The only treasure of pains and memories from her

She felt dusty storms were rising in her heart
And her love was coming totally unaware,
She thought to sprinkle water running from her eyes to
Make the path slippery
So that her love may walk slowly
And she may behold her love, a little more
The longing of her life may get fulfilled
And her hopes may get a base to stay a little more

She knew all the steams of the world would be running from her eyes
Making it more difficult to recognize her face
As the deep sea in her eyes would be splashing water on her face”

Only translation is made by me and the poem in Hindi belongs to
Late Jai Shanker Prasad.

Premium Member To Be In Love

To be in love along the rushing shore
And hear sounds from your heartbeat to enslave
To kiss your hungry lips, then wanting more
Obtaining love's desire, its constant crave
Besot, beneath this dazzled sky, I find
Love's lightning splays a light that clears my view
Such echoed worlds, warm soft as waves inclined
Submerged through quiet eyes, a love so true
My hand entwined in yours, we bond as one
While watching footprints fade in pebbled sand
To spy a reddening sky and setting sun
While falling into night, at stars command

We'll feel the waves upon our warmest skin
And touch the stars, as dawn arouses in

She's a little girl aging nine or ten,
Short, serene, slim, with a look luminous;
Obtaining no formal education,
Possessing many a dream glorious;

At sharp five, every morning, her day dawns,
Her dirty sack she takes and off she goes;
Roads, rail tracks, parks, and even private lawns,
What will she get? And where? She never knows;

Parents long unwell and struggling siblings,
She serves them utmost with care abundant;
She collects old bottles, pans, iron strings,
Exchanges and makes a meager amount;

Thus, the little goddess solemnly toils,
Feeds all, sleeps hungry, often, full of smiles.
