The Swan

Upon the lakes they do swim gliding so effortlessly
These species of graceful waterfowl the largest of anatidae family
In their beautiful pure white plumage with elegant long curved necks
Blunted beaks and big webbed feet living together by water's edge
These magnificent creatures of the waters are a sign of purity and love
Remind us of the blessings in our relationships a gift from heaven above
If all goes well in there pairing they will stay together for rest of their life’s
When they glide upon the waters of our awareness they bring us deep insight

These birds of Mother Nature they’re exquisite and unique
Bearing exotic waves of beauty to our dreams as we do sleep
They swim around in our divine mind adding colours of delight
Encouraging us to spread our wings and take our glorious flight
Courting occurs on rivers and lakes throughout the known world
Whilst they live on plant life tiny fish and scattered bread as well
You might see them duck their heads as they feed upon their foods
But you better beware of their aggression whilst they protect their broods

The elegance of these myterious birds are displayed in a ballet dancer
Dancing into our emotions with their romantic artisticpower
Transforming our souls with delightful moves bringing us into harmony
With a brilliant performance of balance, control and technical flexibility
The beautiful dying swan pours its heart out as death draws near
Greeting this with an exceptional beautiful ending balladeer
Its modulated voice singing the swan-song of death so sweet
This harmonious sound can be heard as its last creative piece

The crown retain the ownership to all unmarked mute swans
A ceremony takes place once a year and lasts for five days long
Swan upping is a tradition dated back to the twelfth century
Markers row up and down the rivers paying tribute to the Queen
In England they’re a protected species and owned by Her Majesty
The wing spans on these wonderful birds can extent to several feet
These sacred aquatic birds male and female cobs and pens
Those little cygnets and swanlings on a swan lake that never ends

Elegy – 7-17-24

Elegy for Old Growth

Through measures of metered melancholy
The tattered winds sing a rent elegy,
A pensive wail for pristine old growth,
A drifting chant in pure pitch of final farewell –
The mute tongue howls in eulogy
For virgins of a thousand turns around the sun
For helpless giants surrendered in atonal sacrifice.

Gentle titans with feathery boughs lifted their faces
To embrace misted melodies of summer and winter snows
Forest zephyrs sang lullabies for sparrows
Nesting in their rustling wombs
Then shared the secret lyrics of their song
With robins sheltered in their lofty grace of red bark
In evensongs, matins and spring symphonies.

The myrrh of burial mixes with their lingering fragrance
In desolation and in their exposed flesh,
Nude hillsides of purple rage
Scream in final dirges of farewell
Modulated into anthems sung to saplings in circles of renewal
Little ones, like half steps, change elegies to odes
The threadbare zephyr now chants paeans to remember.

Premium Member When the Black Clouds Melt

The color of blood unchanged,
flowed in the stream of time evolved,
as ancient singular ancestor etched
footprints of humanity on the globe, explored.

Common lineage thriving insulated,
splintered into diverse lineage of races,
physical traits got typified,
melanin played with color on the skin.

Born free under one seamless sky,
equality pines in veiled deprivation.
Unkind history modulated
the misplaced sense of superiority.

When in bleached sky the black clouds melt
in silent rain of unseen tears of pain,
and the heavy air toxic with hatred suffocates,
I can’t breathe.

Premium Member Forgotten Hero

Forgotten Hero

I was awesome;
destined to be rich and famous when I grew up.
Until that happened,
I settled for being a superhero…

And I was!

I was untouchable.
Bulletproof.
So fast you couldn’t even see me,
and faster still in my special shoes…
which was a good thing
because I had underwear on my head.
I was the picture of heroism
posed before the oscillating fan
which billowed my bed-sheet cape
and modulated my voice
to mimic a pre-pubescent Optimus Prime.

With a giftwrap-tube in hand
I was armed for any conflict.
Yet for all my power, I was incorruptible.
My faith was absolute…
in the certainty that
good always triumphs over evil,
and I never intended to lose.
I sought the distressed damsels
because that was the right thing to do…
not for any reward;
certainly not for their cootie-infested
kisses of gratitude.

I was great beyond everything I knew,
universally loved and adored.
I was the greatest hero the world had ever known,
and everyone wanted to be my friend…

…until they didn’t.

Because wearing fruit of the loom helmets
is for weirdoes and losers.
Because children need to stop daydreaming,
and focus on their studies.
Because not everyone can be rich and famous,
and it’s impractical to chase after foolish dreams.
Because there is no such thing as “special shoes.”
Because everything isn’t black-and-white, and
standing for what you believe to be good is intolerant,
and unacceptable.
Because superheroes aren’t real,
girls don't have cooties,
and it was time to grow up.

…and I have.

ListZapper

Http:www.listzapper.com/free

There is so many inventions being worked on it is not surprising to the mee the
eye to see a listzapper being developed at least in some Chinese factory. Add it
on the computer next to the inversion control next to the hypertext transferor near
the over stimulated granule hardware where the windows refresher is at. The
internet picture convertor was the newest completed inventory. Now there is a
need for the minds at MIT to make the eye a way to zap a list without doing the
separated items just one more at a time. The items are usually removed by right
click one at a time. The listzapper would be the answer to this modulated
problem just hit the link once to the linkzapper then hit the first item in the list
instead of just that one item open the linkzapper gets them all each and every
one of them all in a row even iff there is 1001 of them all told. The information
scrambles into the hardware forms a list again at the other end and becomes a
new worded document again. Then hit the zapperlist@ the newest test of time
the list is saved into the single files. The need to spend more hours at the board
is gone the keys we need are now limited to only two or even one. Just make a
giant button in the middle of my keyboard so eye can hit the linkzapper and then
upload the zapperlist my work would thus be finished the need for typing gone
the hours that we spend inside the lieberry can be used for having fun…visit

How mysteriously mythical
And mystical you look
Magnificently minute
Maritime majestic migrants
More than marginally manic
Mesmerizing meanderers
Masterpieces
Peacefully going about
Your business
Magical make-believe
Monarchs of the sea
Upright and elegant
In your mannerly march

Moonstruck prone to
Misfortunes and misadventures
Oft mostly monologuing
In monotonous monotony
Mediocrely misconstruing
Mischievous mongrels
And misconceiving misplayed
Merciless minutiae
But merry merciful
Momentous messengers of love

Marketable motive and
Mission to mirthfully mate
You mavericks matched
To mettlesome mistresses
Masqueraded maroon
From menacing mercenaries
Marvelously masterful
Is your mimed courtship dance
Mellifluous entwining
Matrimonial love embraces
Mounting and moving
Mimicking moody miscreance
Swaying to measureless
Maudlin melancholic melodies
Monopolizing methodical
Momentum and motion
A meticulously modulated
Mellow match of merging
A most memorable metaphysical
Millennium melodrama

Repentance

Repentant heart will openly bare
Sins that conscience does pare
Puckered lips tasting evil's fare
Poisonous side effects will square
With desire's glimmering silverware
Contrite eye into dark soul will stare
To catch a stime of iniquity's glare
A modulated ear will widely flare
When oppressed psyche doth blare
Discordant notes mind to impair
As vexed spirit feels springing snare
Suppliant hands will clasp in despair
As sorrows from guilty senses pair
Unsealed lips will solemnly swear
Unremitted inequities to repair

Proficient Mama Africa

"Super credence...!"
Coming from the west,
Known by many;very popular and people's figure,
Qualified with soft speech, modified with prominent smile,
Dressed with simplicity,but very focal,
The complexion is matched to brilliance,
Lifted up in air was the nose;catching public attention,
Perfumed with premium lavender diffused from the skin into clothing,
"Preemptively ushered",someone said,
Fashioned with tanned pelt around the bust,...kente from the waist, covering to the knees,
Beads and cowries all over the neck,...as well as ears, arms and feets,
Head covered with scuff,
Carrying a pot of water,
Traditionally attributed to firmness and greatness,
Moulded with superintendent qualities;staunch and wisely modulated,
Possess melodious voice;Seductively enriched,
A marital object for procreation and generational changing,
Talented to dance,subbed to singing,
Colourful in appearance,
Useful creature among equals,
Warrior for true love,...even though life is full of irony,
Taste her food, and come for more,
Culturally valued and highlighted,
"Where does she come from?",
Goddesses over waters applauds her magnificence,
Monumentally, she is the mother of world actors and heroines,
Spreader of democracy and patience;Incomparably agitated,
"Tell me...who's this proficient person?",
That is the legend of years;an indigenous superstar,
Proudly known as,"MAMA AFRICA",
"The jewelry everyone is digging for".

Medea's Ashes

The crowd is drawn like magnets
Drawing flecks of finely splintered steel.
They stand and stare
At smoke-choked, charred remains-
Magnificent Medea.

Her ashes slowly blow like dust
Upon Atlantic breezes
Rushing over achromatic beaches
Soon to rest on Adirondac majesty.

Death is silent still like Medea's
Ashes on the evening winds.
And in the early dusk that follows dust
One sooted shape is left;
Like a child makes an angel in the snow.

Bouquets of roses spread upon
The ground around black-sooted angel -
Aromatic, multicolored sweet bouquets,
Giving vivid dignity to death in final pose.

A tall thin man with thick white hair
Stands straight and still
Above the remnants of his queen;
He once was hero and marine
In distant wars before Medea
Stole his soul and made it whole.

The cattails cluster'd round
Medea's marbled pond
Are crying muted cries
As they bend and bow to something
Larger than their friend upon the wind.

A single night-hawk flying by
Ackowledges the cattail's cry
As it dives above narcissi trumpets waving -
Modulated bright and bulbous yellow
In the twilight's dim and faded light.

Premium Member The Space Between Stars

The flow of intrinsic instinct channelized
through the seamless emotive space,
between shining sensitivities of discernment,
drives the central cognitive impulses,
propels persistently the existential essence
across the verve-saturated emptiness,
surges with the waves of sensuous sequins
of enlivening ethereal attraction
through the vacuity of amorphous perception.

The eternal elements of time pulsates unsensed
in the ether of the inner secluded space,
defining a piece of infinity in continuum.
The fervent rhythm of enticement in harmony
with the covert cadence of blankness,
transitions explicitly into designed nothingness
from one invisible articulation to another,
modulated innately by the motivating stimulus
of the illumined stellar souls.

Night's Allure

Thoughts drifting into night's allure
pace up and down, as day retreats.
A dark cloak of blackness saturates
 slumbering towns and desolate streets.

 Halcyon of ambient moon enshroud
 hypnosis on drooping drowsy eyelids.
A sullen soul in shadow of it's splatter
odyssey of sorrow skates and skids.

Modulated in weight of volatile voices
that quarrel caged in raucous clamour,
waves of night usher beauty of dreams
An ocher sky of stars glitter in glamour.

Far from the melee of neon billboards
footsteps of stars in horoscope unsure.
Time waits for a black sea to turn blue
with thoughts drifting into night's allure.

A Man Who Sings To Bees

I heard a sound
lilting like reed pipes
wending through air
grown heavy in dusklight
sultry and organic
rising from behind
a pasture heavy with
coarse hairs and droppings
horses and their liquid eyes
shedding winter coats
(and masticated oats)
even they know
they're only scenery
with withers to the wood line
as a shadow rocks
hypnotic rhythm timed
to cicadas and honeybees
a man
a man who sings to bees?
rushing to challenge
a stranger in the yard I find
him hatless in the swirling
humming to himself
to the hive
to the dusk
to his dark leather shoes
turned just slightly away
profiled yet indistinct
wordlessly he sings
to wounded hearts
wistful hopes
futures lost
and silently I lie down beside
wild onion, cooling grass
listening to the rhythm
deeply thrumming on the comb
modulated voice, concert of a soul
ort of treble, rumbled bass
and opening my eyes I see
no man
no music
only bees
and me.

Halloween's Portentous Fate

It was the darkest night of the year, and the light was eclipsed but the haunting moon was so near. Lagging
hope faded, and the jading stillness increased my fear. Twas a warm, muggy night with a cool, misty fog drear.
A vixen wind against my jaundiced awning did sheer. All at once, ghostly emanations and visions of black
ravens became so stark so clear. From a nearby church cemetery; gasping, satin-sheathed mummies from their
soiled compartments began to rear. Wispy, veiled goblins in the distant pines started to appear. The nearby
stream gurgled spewing, nauseous vapors that filtered across my warping pier. Gargantuan gargoyles around my
crenelated windows did swerve and veer. White-tipped bats with ebony capes around my porch light did flitter
and fleer. Cringing 'neath my pleated, satin curtians, I heard a knock so *****. Bounding from my cloistered
lair, all my remaining wits did forswear. Flinging open the door, I was confronted by a craggly-clad seer. In a
hurried, modulated rant, he with warnings of pending doom filled each, perched ear. He, then, paused and
glared at me with a bleary-eyed leer. Slamming the door, I began to ponder his doleful, portentous lear, then staggering to my pantry, I grappled for a bottle of cheer. Unbeknownst to me, a pilfering vampire had
spliced a bloody concoction in my satiating beer. Suddenly, the velvet-laced furniture was shrouded with a
crimson verneer. Stumbling along a meandering course to the basement, I located a wooden box that
resembled a bier. Accepting my perilous fate, climbed into my designated tomb, and into my coroded heart
plunged a jagged spear.

Premium Member Color Blindness

The color of blood remains unchanged,
flowing for eons in the stream of time evolved,
as the ancient singular ethnic ancestor etched
the diverse footprints of humanity on the globe.

The splayed common heredity thriving insulated,
flourished into different lineages of humankind,
the physical traits diversified to get typified,
while melanin played with color on the skin.

Born to breathe the free air of the blue planet,
equality pines under the shroud of deprivation.
The unkind human history gets modulated
with the misplaced sense of superiority.

Evolution produced physically distinct groups,
the construct of race isn’t grounded on biology,
but is a socially invented concept used to exploit
the people of color who are not less human.

In the egalitarian framework the critical paradigm
recognizes the banality of racism afflicting social norms.
People born under the free sky deserving equity
like to see the human race becomes color blind.
