There has always been an inter-outer over-under tender balance of loveless socio-equations as they super fit the psychosocial sexe-endices in this modern garner of pluses/minuses/bytes and scribbles mostly incommunicado inexperience and parental impreciseness as to, "anything planned", which in tomb leaves us doth a deranged desperate captive of that all inbibed prisoner **** of nun conformist adventurerers and that really, that there are just too many organic integers making for really bad math.intuitations/attributes and all of the familio do's and don'ts that creep bastardy across the years to inculcate, interfere, incase all of the hoped, promised integrity of just 2 people in love? with all that makes it their potential, not all of the hopeless, ne'r do wells, dead driven dud marriages that hoped to promulgate their failures onto the newbies totally unprepared, but willfully negative implicit on that new, and should be uninterrupted, all naked, seeing alter intense emoexplosive journeys to that wait waits, some supposes, everybody entices, everyone enthralls, quired questions, problem perplexes, initiates initiated, complexes complete, duty deforms, eerily exacts a viscous value, on properties promised a forever coexistance, but not at the expense of selfish selfness; can it be to an us award of a faceoff fervent fever, that WE, can coincide an opposite internal presence that allows us to be a universal component undeluded, underived, unpolluted by the natural wonders that are our genetic cohesions, so they can further their total promise to lead a connected life of copious love, desire and plentitudes of us-ness, disavowing all else in a socioinvasive parental wake of them vs us in all things blood/emo crass cursive? Leave them, the future lovers of us alone, let it flow and keep your, non orgasmic, loveless failures to yourself, old/tainted people of relations, lovers of social inhibitions it plays to an ill-at-ease, stubborn Igor-ignocompliance. Yes, we had Summer Love/Woodstock, but then we grew to be livestock, waiting for the senior-socioseniorslaughter pill mill. You must have some small, tinder, macromolecule of what it was to be standing in the bliss of universal underware; a long time ago in a universe far, far, away. Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! the neighbors.

What You'Ve Done

We met out of circumstances
that would seem insignificant

But you've got that magic
of turning minuses to plus
as you always find a way
to solve for the x in my life.
And even as much as
I can solve maths pretty well,
I believe that you solve mine better.
And I love you for that.

Flash Freeze -Haiku-

It was warm today
wasn't in the minuses
dipping down again.

Copyright © Cynthia Jones
Jan.6/2014

Today was the first day in the past couple of weeks that it was and stayed above 0 degrees Celsius. It's going to dip below zero again tonight. After the rain we got today, it's going to flash freeze and make roads dangerous.

Chaga, Chaga

In the last four years I have had no seasonal allergies
Thanks to all of Chaga’s wonderful properties.
Then comes along spring of twenty seventeen
And I am back swallowing a bunch of antihistamine,
For I had stop consuming my magic potion.
Really, truly, I had no notion,
Of all its pluses versus its minuses.
Now it comes too late for my poor sinuses.

Chaga, I hope it is not to late to reclaim your power
So I may stop popping pills and get off all puffers.
I believe and trust that you will not let me suffer
So I might enjoy what this season as to offer,
Like the beautiful blossoms and blue skies
without having oozing and watery eyes.
But in the meantime, family and friends, just stay polite
With each time I sneeze, just say "Gesundheit"

Premium Member Planted Seed

In dredging memory for childhood moments,
Those lingering longest in abysmal slumber.
I've searched for seed in crevice and shadow,
Absent of sound, I found inordinate number.

Exposed were seedlings long ago planted,
Infertile and parched until this sounding.
But detrimental seed weren't sown deep,
Satan's recall is most keen and abounding.

Time eroded soil which encased dire seed,
Whether good or bad, neither, minuses yield.
Before my unharnessed mule was in the barn,
Satan's shovel was busy grubbing in my field.

The Tunnel Vision

You can keep swinging in your smile
as your eyes see through the cylinder only
where the flowers radiate the scent
where the leaves wait for the rustle
of the fondling wind
where stars wait for the music
of the magical light peaks
where the blue sky waits
for the golden kite
in the cloud towers
Where the staircase raises the ears
for the sound of the footsteps
Where the mahogany branch
craves for the feet of the pair of the larks

The cylinder refuses to take
the wide angle lens
adding to the view
the greedy rats
the spilling vats
the leopard like hungry cats
the pus and pain of the flats
that our apartment is proud of
housing the autocrats
None in your tunnel
You don't battle
Against the stale apples
the de facto brothels
in the apartment in isolation
with no ventilation

You are of course better off
than those who have
the same tunnel before the eyes
Only the field of view with no dew
For them in the queue
The rapists and rape victims
The murdered and the murderer
The cheats and frauds
The figures flawed
Nothing good and well
The earth a hell

You are better off
With your cut-off
eliminating the minuses
Including only the pluses
where the thorns
aid and abet the blossoming of the rose

We like to keep disjointed
And highlight the negative knives only
Turning blind to the beehives
And the humming bee
bridging you and me

You do have the ear
corresponding with the tunnel vision
to hear and respond
and build the blueberry bond
between the flute and the music
The circles concentric
of the lyrics of life
and the drumsticks

The Poet That's Me

I have trouble writing in free verse
As though my Minds stuck in reverse
Every time I think of a rhyme
It is defiantly writing time

That’s something that will cause a stump
The rhythm can’t go bumpity bump
I am a simple country girl
Few fancy words go in the whirl

Not ignorant or uneducated
Just to my life style dedicated
I write from what is in my heart
Experiences that I played a part

Of faith and love and family
The things in life that we all see
The end result will be of my best
Anything less isn’t worth your request

It took me longer get Microsoft word open
than it took for me to get my first line typed
Approximately 3-4 minuses from start to finish
but I type 24-30 per minute due to physical
and visual handicaps

Premium Member Seasons of Splendor

May Mother Nature receive her due
For seasons of splendor each in kind
Contrasts noted in color and format
Starting with spring, her minuses few,
Then, summer in her brightest blues we find
Until autumn shows us nature’s palette
Of crimson, yellow, orange, and gold
All the vibrant colors we know are refined
Only to find themselves in a burning vat
As winter approaches, oh, so awfully cold
Now, ponder that.

Premium Member The Side Effects Of Evil: Part 1

An excerpt from my new short story:

Contributing factors, however, are deemed as an assortment embracing negativity and were reinforcements for the young idealist. Granted to resonate by the dark lord was his underlying purpose. The premise has been appropriated. Likewise, the preceding groundwork was properly shoveled underneath. A particular young idealist realigns his outlook and foresees his fresh novel and still sought-after directive. Politics was a voracious subject, not so much academically, but it's a side subject welcomed by scholars considering it just as an extra curriculum. The topic may have been reworded, but his inner values sustain him representing his singular verbiage that goes on unwaveringly. As his agenda gathers momentum, attracting newcomers who realign their political views with his, draws the attention of the local region. Soon thereafter, the rest of the country will be on the ball, by way of his name. His political point of view which framed him since birth, now frames a country. The dark lord is on the rise bearing gifts purposed for an original firstborn. Introduced into a split family valued life of pluses and minuses, and compounded with his educational woes, evil's birthright was given a unique name. Historians, during their early stages, were amidst the golden glow of a virgin Europe, circa 1900.

It would later serve as a guide for his yet-to-be, future. WWI military losses for the Central forces were; 4,386,000, with; 3,700,000 civilian casualties. The Russian Empire conceded to the Bolsheviks Revolution who then executed the Imperial family. Military losses for the Allied forces were; 5,525,000, with; 4,000,000 civilian casualties. The German Empire ended after Kaiser Wilhelm II abdicated his throne on November 9th, 1918. Two days later on the 11th of November 1918, The Peace Armistice was signed by the newly formed, German Republic, and the Soviet Union. The end of WWI left a highly decorated Adolf, wholly confident and sharply experienced.

Premium Member The Glad Game

If you know what you're sad about
What you're angry and mad about
Be a bit of a gadabout
Find something to be glad about

You dwell on the minuses
Complain about the Why-nesses
     Time to elevate, Your Highness
     Unclog your mental sinuses

Enough of the gloom; enough of the doom
Destroy them now: POW and KABOOM!
     No more assigning blame
     Just play the Glad Game

Your eyebrows are fine
And so are your knuckles
     Think about those two
     And burst out in chuckles

No phlegm in your throat
Or snot in your nose
Make a wee bit of effort
Wash the dirt from your toes

You're not allergic to chocolate
Or cookies, or candy and cake
     And when you eat pizza
     Your tummy doesn't ache

No pimples on your face
Or freckles on your butt
     If you're over nineteen
     You've outlived King Tut

Once you open your mind
And see what you've had
     You'll always be glad
     My dear friend and comrade!

Premium Member Looking To the 'Fore'

this (right!?) write is based on a bhuddist perspective of the "now" (quote:...
it is the being of an emptiness that enables a reality its manifestation)......
andt, the band 'u2's song "i've still not found what i'm looking for"....is the
fodder.
in the free verse the/a 'looking fore' is as a path ahead, between all common space-time logics (a bhuddist view)....pluses/minuses and all else somehow shift 'to one side' andt, new choices become obvious as if one watches a reality
movie in slow motion.
______________________________________________________________

i've climbed some high mountains...andt...
run....through some fields to be...

with 'a' you...andt only with 'a' you have i....
crawled and scaled these walls to finally...stay with 'a' you...

but my finding was....not a 'looking-fore' because...
what i found was not 'a' path to...seeing what 'a fore' is....

i'd made sweet slips that...felt like healing fire tips...
andt' was only desire for...'a' nice ice pack for the neck...

still hadn't found the 'looking fore'...but knew 'a now' not a (k)not and...
how/what/where/when the 'looking for' is....it appears as on it's own accord...

anywhere everywhere....all becomes as one andt…
the 'looking fore' is before your eyes...as another dimensional world...

reality divides andt...your perspective is on a slow 'reality....movie'...
buddha's perspective presents many commonly...unseen perspectives...

it loosens bonds and chains and lets go the shames...of the looking 'for'...
andt not 'a looking fore' that is everywhere so...stop and let 'it' appear...

The Game

The Game
The white runes,

the words I spelt,

the total score; the near misses, the losses, and the rushes.

These aer just some of the things that make the games fun to me. Filling the
agony of all the defeat that they handed me.

Pluses and minuses evening out the scoring.

Changing to a new level and then to one more new level always one more new
one OH boy.

Clearing a row in the nick of time the handsbreath away from the ending.

Pausing to check all my email messages for one more new game.

Playing and tiring and pausing and playing again:

over and over and over and then-

eating my lunch at ten and not noon to have the strength to shoot one just one
more ugly alein creature.

Searching the skies for the things that can`t hide from my lasers.

Addiction for some is just fun for the men.

Game Over
