Best Mind's Eye Poems
Thank heaven for my imagination
It's given me quite alot
Danced me through many a situation
Saved me from battles fought
Within my mind lies beauty and grace
Splendor in this world
No need to condemn or ever debase
My fist remains uncurled
Through the window of my eye
I find such wondrous things!
I smell the salty tide flow by
Skip along Saturns' rings
I've visited lots of exotic lands
Built toys with Santas' elves
Played in many rock and roll bands
Conversed with dolls on shelves
Through the imaginings of my mind
I'm driving a fancy car
Or maybe I'm being wined and dined
By a famous movie star
Imagination's an awesome thing
So much that you can do
Fly away on an angel wing
If only you've a mind to!
Through the corridors of time you travel
Just a gorgeous twinkle in a tenuous universe
So surreal to see you trip in my minds eye
Twirling into view like a dirvish of arcane times
Chanting in a Murmurous whisper incantations
then with a sonorous thunder clap she's gone
my very own tinker bell as turned to dust
she was more than any grown up's eye can see.

I dream sometimes I have no choice
It's clear to me the same
Dreams are strange
They help me change
And arrange anew
As I lay me down to sleep
Never know where I'll go
Last night I dreamt was in a church
And pocket search
The offering was few
Dreams are like a poker hand
Sometimes you get good cards
Pocket aces
No name faces
Lay down like the morning dew
Awake all night I wish for sleep
My dreams won't follow through
Spoken words
Sung by the birds
Farewell my dream to you
To the left
of the mossy forest path
the blue lake evaporates.
I need to find out what it all means,
so I searched for the truth in my dreams,
illusions of a shattered reality, unwoven at its seams.
All of life's cohesion, a plan or just by chance,
the gravity enabling this universal dance,
it all seems to run just like clockwork,
makes me wonder whether it might be Gods work?
So I looked through my minds eye, while I was wearing a monacle,
it really did make this world look..well, rather comical,
the distortions of vision were astronomical!
Atomic particles at a most basic level, I saw God, I fought the Devil!
The smallest atoms you can find, the Higgs Boson and strings that bind,
I even watched as expansion hit rewind!
We're taking leaps out into space, huge accomplishment of the human race,
our solar system we've had a taste, further and deeper, how do you operate?
We'll one day finds Earth's new home, maybe under a giant dome,
or in a galactic ice cream cone? All the stardust that makes my bone.
Northern lights, just a jewel on my throne,
though science says 'it's just ozone'
have your ideas because their your own,
don't allow your mind to be overthrown,
things got hazy, or my mind got lazy,
so I took my rag and I buffed my lens,
it feels like I am bathing in pure cleanse!
Or i'm finally round the bend?
Will my head ever truly mend??
For when your balls knocked over the Wonderwall,
all kinds of delight, short or tall, await those who stumble across that garden,
you'll rub your eyes and pinch your skin, What? Hey? Pardon!
I have a sea view over all eternity, the 1000 you's, the countless me's
Life graces the universe, like a play well rehearsed,
starts with a nurse and ends in a hearse,
after the big rip, it's all in reverse!

Minds eye revolution
Industrial solution
Brainwave pollution
Stunted evolution
Living life reckless
Fragile future feckless
Heavy heart helpless
Soul search purpose
Chemical dependency
Limited life expectancy
Wake up reluctantly
Doubt self constantly
Hard fought decision
Much self derision
Brain cell collision
New world vision
Wake up expectantly
Start again excitedly
Lessons learnt thoroughly
Damaged world behind me
Detox relieves me
Rehab's a journey
Suffer through therapy
Reliving dark memory
Synapses reconnect
Positivite affect
Self exam reflect
Accept do not deflect
Learn self love
Gift from above
Fits like a glove
Life my new drug
I think sharp,
Making sure i penetrate through the sun,
Just to see what's on the other side,
What's manipulating the light,
The fight of survival,
The fight with spirit and that's your given rifle,
they fire shots from the sky,
I duck! insuring I'm not hit
Protecting my dreams,
my only missions which are directed by truths definition,
I go deep making sure that all words come alive,
The imagination that gets processed in my mind,
That kind of thought that's never left behind,
The outcomes of one fellow,
And the hype i feel when they all follow,
The winner! the grin in their face,
As they see me face to face,
Not like yesterday when they gave me that cold stare as if the grim reaper snatched their souls away ,
That dark phase,
the night before the day
When Nobodies ever there for you,
So you pray!
Pray for the light to stay
The selfishness in that way,
light was meant to shine on all
So! lets share the glow
Nobody wants to be left alone
Specially not with a hallow on their head
The light that passes to late
Resulting in ones fate,
The abyss,
the deepest place one can ever live
To the highest peak one can ever reach.
I'm rich of dreams,
rich of everything cause its all in my mind anyway
so I'm delusional and that's okay.
JUST WAIT!
As that could be my destination,
So I'm penalized for setting myself straight
Because I'm the night sky,
The unseen eye
The unheard melody
The untold story
So! I listen to the lies that they say,
Those invisible lines projected by the light to lead me to my fate,
From their mouths to my eyes
So I'm second,
No! I'm third
Now the spots on my skin shine
The stars! The beautiful guardians earthlings foretold,
But nobody sees me
I wonder Why?
Is it because of my dark matter that just occupies everything,
Well I know I'm dark,
Dark like the night sky
The noon, beautiful as the moon
I'm June to July
I rule, I see it with my third eye.
just thought id say something
before she gives up
before she surrenders
to all the darkness that hungers for fresh meat
my own road is stained
just barley doin my own version of living
just getting down to a rhythm to the madness
why screw it up
why get down with a harder road
'cause i cant silence that quiet place in my heart
i cant shut off the place in my minds eye
where i can see the consequences
so i reach out my hand
no real trouble at all
just a moment outa my time
but i can feel it make changes on her sea's
i can see it making waves in her uncharted
join me
grab a hand
there is a world full of people who
need even just a hand to hold in the dark of night
I see how it once was
Days of crystal line Blue skies
& emerald green seas
of sweet grass, gently
Swaying …
from Horizon to horizons edge
it rides up the sides of mountains
Down into the valley low
all in Midsummers glow
keeps it’s peace & I move
into the cool Grace of autumns to come
the setting sun that warms my chilled face
in my mind I see all how it once was
Inspiration is her word of the day,
for she feels it now come the final sun ray.
She is weary from the sunshine hours,
but her mind is filled with subtly coloured flowers.
She writes sturdy, yet not so fast,
even though thoughts keep streaming past.
She fears she may not capture many a wonder,
but then again, she is certain her dreams will ponder.
So when she awakes to a new agenda,
she puts pen to paper to continue at her minds surrender.
The refreshed blues of her widened eyes perceived
the adventures of her sleeping state as something so greatly achieved.
Inspiration flows fluidly in connection with her soul
and she can say it has beautifully taken its toll.
For she is perpetually in anticipation
of continuing to paint with the colours of her happy imagination.
I see you.
How do my eyes focus on such beauty?
When I look my soul feels at home.
I'm taken to a place where I can never forget,
A place I never want to forget.
I see you, are you with me?
Holding me with your love, your heart,
Your soul is guiding mine.
This is where you show me my path,
My destiny shines down from the stars.
It's true, I am always here, this place.
I have always been here with you, my love.
I see you.
I will remember the truth when I wake,
But you say its not mine to recall.
It's for my heart, soul and conscience.
I see you when I wake.
My soul mate, my angel, the love of my life.
I remember you and the love we share,
The rest is written in our hearts.
I see you.
Take your time
And count it down
Nothing's going to change right now
The stones were set years before
You laid them down, you chose the floor,
And now the path only bends when it needs to flee
the weeds the worms the shrubbery
So take your time
Stop for air
Yes, quick steps will get you there
but at the end of the path-the win is short
And tired feet is all you've got
So ease your pace and smell the air,
A free mind can take you anywhere.

Violet orange gold sunset beautifies the sky
Towering cactuses on endless expanse of the desert lie
The dream of stone winds- ancient catacombs will never die
This is the gift of mind’s eye
For soon you will find
You are not in the desert but in your own mind
The dazzling smell of sunset would guide you if you were blind
By the vastness of stone winds the soul is defined
The night appears above
The stars in clear desert sky sing of universal love
Your spirit grows like a grove
Your soul is filled with love
Suddenly among the stars you are
Traveling with every star
You see moons orbiting planets from far
Distance is immeasurable yet you can define it from where you are
Stone winds are bliss
That sails celestial abyss
You see strange life forms hiss
From many planets spanning the cosmic bliss
The seas of methane dazzle with vastness and majesty
Mathematical base for life different then on earth will be
Elements different then on periodic table fill the planet’s sea
And who ever possesses the soul of it all can write their own destiny
In my mind's contorted eye
My heart laments for our generation
And generations to come
In my mind's disgruntled eye,
I see squalor and poverty in Sudan
I see disaster, hunger,
Consuming, scavenging, rampaging
The bowels of our land
My heart weeps for the oppressed,
Displaced, and brutalized
In my mind's injured eye
I see the ruins of Bosnia
And the bloodbath in Grosny
Yesterday was Somalia, today Afghanistan
We all are engulfed in a bitter, unending race
In my mind's tired, confused eye
I see resigned, helpless faces
Of a saturated generation
Waiting hopelessly for the final
Chiming of the clock
