Best Melodious Poems
Engulfed in recollections bittersweet
Reminded just how lonely life can be
How sad the fact that mem'ries are not free
From train of thought pass shadows in the street
Within the strains feelings become up beat
Piece shiny shards of broken memories
So many good times on life's open seas
Our failures and our follies were so fleet
My song of life has many different notes
In languishing refrains I find a smile
Revisiting sweet scenes of happiness
The lump I swallow nearly makes me choke
Replace the bitter aftertaste of bile
Each candy memory a Hershey's kiss
an original poem by Daniel Turner
I died once
Twice,
And then a couple of times after that,
Each time I saw you with another,
A part of me lost life,
The hinges that held my being together
Only remained adhered because of you,
Knowing that you were breathing alighted my soul with life,
Because I was prospective of the fact that,
One day, you might actually be mine,
I had a special place in my fantasies that I liked to visit a lot,
Because it was the only place in which you were truly and eternally mine,
You were the reason why as grown as I was,
I still dared to imagine,
Because you being in my dreams brought reality to it all,
I kissed you affectionately in those fantasies,
Feeling your soft lips tickling my mouth,
Generating waves of euphoria in every cell in my body,
I would hold you in my arms, tight,
And never let go,
You would whisper in that melodious voice of yours,
And tell me that you loved me,
You would grab my cheeks in the softness of your palms,
And draw me closer to your bosom,
I would feel your heartbeat going in the same rhythm as mine,
I would fell every sense of mine
Awaken,
I would be alive…
Then reality would jerk me back,
I would then see you with those eyes burning with love,
But they were never burning for me,
I would see you wrapped in the arms of another,
As soon as this happened,
Every time,
I felt a hollow in me form,
I would lose life, wither in the wind,
Each time I saw you with another,
I realized you were never mine,
And I would die,
So you see my dear,
I’m no longer afraid,
I’ve died too many times to be scared…
Whole night you were in my muse
Everything erased except your face
Today I'm late to rise
No one to wake me up
When I saw you in far
Corner of dry, dark sky
My heart gets torn,
Eyes can't stop flowing
We are missing you "Mom"...
He left the world you leave
Don't talk,
Rough movement and even
His smiles erased.
Every eve he still waiting for you at the gate
The old breezed love
Can't take the pain.
My small brother asks me
When you will come?
Your daughter loss
All her faith and joy.
I can't see their faces
It reminds me of you,
Your love
Babbling
Chattering before bed to rig up mosquito-curtain
Run after me while going to work!
My heart seems to burst
And blow up with grief...
I miss you at my every step, "Mom"
He was empty before you
Again fall into nothingness
They lost their playmate
I lost my best friend!
Nobody forbids me,
No one says don't do this
The call from back to return soon has vanished
Sometimes I feel so lonely,
My soul intends to cry out
Like a simple child
And pray to you, "Please come back Mom"
If not possible to punish me
Make me cry once!
Aaborta Dey
This poem is based on the death of one of my friend's Mom and I feel more love for my parents when I read this.
Spring the magical season of natural splendour,
It's glory brightens and blooms every life,
Birds chirp in meadows and call for their mates;
The tap-tap of the woodpeckers,
And their courtship dances,
Welcome the mating season in cheer.
The bold Ashy prinia with perky tail
Found in thickets, the jungle mynahs
Seen in noisy groups at sunset,
The spotted owlet with a hooting sound,
Seen in banyan and peepal trees,
Are sights of delight after a dreary winter.
The white-browed wagtail,
Scurrying in open spaces wagging its tail,
The pond heron with its yellow eyes,
And the Asian koel singing kik kik,
His mate too joining, singing kuoo kuoo,
Create a symphony of magical melody.

Melodious Marty sweet got smart
He thought one day to share his heart
Shining it here and there he dreamed, of
Showin' the blaze in his blazin' blue genes.
So reaching deep smart Marty said MY!
"...How the world can, and how can I...."
"...How in the world can I...."
She wrote...
Using just one and only one note
Write the rhyme to a love Divine
And send without doubt,
The message sub-lime
To be assured... that
It's found in Time.
"...and How...." it began...
Burning questions, forget the answer
Ignition triggers, a dancing mummer
Guise in disguise, tells a tale of rumor
Wiser in the eYe, hears a truth in humors...
"...How the world can... is a simple question..."
"...Why we've knot, is the complex answer..."
Melodious wrote as the midnight dancer
Rhyming ART with a daylight caster
Entertain smart in the garden of Eden
And melody heals a damaged reason
"...How,
the Word can..." she wrote.
Q!... It's a note....iQ

Such melodious words of impress
Alluding to a lady magistrate
Like an emblem of blind justice
Such melodious words of impress
Ascribing to social illness
Weakening on someone’s taste
Such melodious words of impress
Alluding to a lady magistrate

many birds remind
despite life there is a song
so why not take heed....
The choir sings a hidden, forbidden verse.
No spirit light ever needed to rehearse.
Each voice comes through a spirit light.
And as they are lit they become very bright.
Singing to the top of their lungs with fire.
The spirit lights become enhanced with desire.
No praise ever ceases to be.
With the spirits in light as you can all see!
We watch
as aquamarine touches the shore
splashing glitter-drops onto the sand beneath our feet.
The sun melts into a rose-petal sky
glowing crimson and persimmon
on the horizon.
Hand in hand,
engulfed by tranquility,
we stroll to the beach house
we have rented for the night.
At the porch
we stop -
gazing back at the shore
where splendidly we spent our afternoon.
Then you face me,
and your blue eyes,
once so soft and flirty in the sunlight,
grow darker in the twilight.
Darker and deeper,
mirroring my quickening desire.
Wind chimes made from sea shells,
which tinkle above our heads,
start to mirror the passion
of the once soft and flirty breeze of our perfect day,
for wind now blows with gusto!
To the clamor of melodious wind chimes,
my lips meet yours
and we become the sun,
melting like crimson and persimmon
into each other.

Dang I can hear it,
I can hear it again and again,
And I’m stuck this time around,
Thinkin bout a harmonious beat,
Matching to a melodious Sound,
Taking my nerves to another height,
Far beyond sight far above ground,
And its this harmonious beat,
Matching to a melodious sound,
Lifting me from my seat,
Taking me to another height,
And I know that she can feel it too,
Because its like,
A to the word attraction,
The other half to a fraction,
Leading to my hearts satisfaction,
And its this harmonious beat,
Matching to a melodious sound,
Lifting me from my seat,
Taking me to another height,
Making me feel like the doves,
Flying together,
As though they’re a pair of gloves,
Flying together in near perfect harmony,
Making me think we could be,
With her safe in my arms,
And her keeping harm from me,
Except I’ll have to see it,
I’ll have to be brave,
I’ll have to come up to her,
And be the caveman without the cave,
Because I can hear it girl,
And it’s like,
This harmonious beat,
Matching to a melodious sound,
Lifting me from my seat,
Taking me to another height.
Life's melodious song is but the prelude to eternity’s divine symphony!

Couched on a cloud of immortal unrest,
Harmonies ring in the light of the moon,
None too diluted and none born too soon:
All in a lively, melodious quest.
Plumed by bright meteors burning on high,
Hither it calls me and weltering waves
Whisper my name while faint starlight engraves
Dreams of despair in the billowing sky.
Freed from the darkness of wearisome truth,
Wildly I sail on an ocean of ghosts,
Wide though remote from the cavern which hosts
Earthlings inclined to the dire and uncouth.
Calm is the night and remote is the call
Voiced by the seagulls imprisoned ashore.
Soothed by your kisses, I covet once more
Endless repose and within you I fall.

My soul is humming a melodious tune of:
Gratitude, love, and affection
For all my beloved and caring friends
Who offered prayers for my health's restoration.*
The battle was fierce, and the enemy so furious,
But he was defeated, no matter the methods he did apply,
For whoever fights with God on his side
Double armed is he for faith his arms multiply!

* For seventeen days I was wrestling with COVID-19.
Now with God's help and my friends' prayers, my health is restored.
Thank you and Blessings!
Birds have started chirping
Sun is just about to set
Squirrel is squeaking as it scampers on branches of flame tree
Bees are buzzing
Crows can be heard saying caw, caw
Eagle flies with a screeching sound
Oriental magpie robins can be seen on flame tree chattering.
They sit on a branch, walk towards flowers, drink nectar, fly to another branch, do the same.
They want to finish eating before sunset
Squawk, squawk, parrots screech as they fly together.
It seems they are going to some place to sleep
A flock of sparrows can be seen on flame tree.
They pluck a petal from flame tree, munch it.
Stomach full, they start chirping.
Red-vented bulbul whistle melodiously
Red whiskered bulbul whistles cheerily
Tuk, tuk, tuk sings coppersmith barbet
Koyal sings mellifluous music with its koo, koo, koo
Suddenly warmth of sun is gone.
Cool breeze blows
Red sun goes down the mountain to other side
Chirping of birds stops
No noise can be heard.
Absolute silence and peace permeate the surrounds

Sit and ponder
walk and wander
pace and think of
are we on the brink of?
Human discover?
Wisdom unknown?
Man's lonely thoughts as
he sits home alone?
Can you wander the world,
and still know no relief?
From the rumbles of mind
we try to hide deep?
