Best Masterpieces Poems
Torturing me with touches
I feel the sting of hardened and lasting lust
Touches not of mortal fingers,
But Halloween-haloed strings composed by musicians of mystery
Pressing upon my back--yes! A searing, yet melodi-errotic strike
All upon me, yet far from me...
Leave me not in the judgement of my own scrambling feelings
Rest not away as I hold my hands out in the dark
Deathly dances are visions heaven-bound for the duo--
Yet for the solo- a blank, useless measure...
The pulsing silence of amateur-stitched love rattles me
Making rhythms giggle in my mind
Intervals of idiocy tormenting all reason
Truly an agonizing, but for others--minor--prison
Is the smile that helped design those strings
Those strings that pluck upon my spine
Controlling me in a dark place stuck between tunes and time
Why are your hands so cold when you play those piano keys?
Why are your lungs so eroded with the pride that taints the songs you sing?
Why have the rhythms gone awry, and why does your apathetic dissonance thrive?
And tell me… through it all…
As you compose the rise and fall…
Why is all this destruction you created so vibrantly alive?

Drifting beyond the lightest cloud.
Pastel clowns in postmortem rain parade.
Cascading in the cold moon dust
to shed this latest mascaraed.
Wounded memories hang loosely from the mind.
Autumn berries quivering three quarters past their prime.
When did "mediocre" pock the virgin tree.
When untruth told us, painting by numbers...
was our first gilded masterpiece?
Then entered our very first critique.
When honesty stated our works wasn't their cup of tea,
Like evening frost clinging upon a tender leaf.
A devastating reality.
They should have stated the slate cold truth.
as soon as we could breathe.

In his eyes I see tomorrow
he is the holder of all my time
like beautiful stained glass
holding rainbow colored sand
His touch is healing and divine
like the warmest sun
in summer time
his words are like seashells
As they call out to lovers in the ocean
drifting along the tide to sandy beaches
he has found me anchored to him
holding me with his soft sensual kiss
I see the moon in mid-day now
shining right beside the sun
they over came the obstacles
of all the storms on the run
We are in the eye of the hurricane
where the sky is beautiful all day
enjoying our mystery
to the rest of the worlds dismay
He is the ink that now flows from my quill
I am the tapestry the ancients could never fill
together we are a master piece designed with our love
we are the ones who are well endowed in love
Stained glass masterpieces.
art inked with sand from above
two beautiful lives filled with God in trust

That man from Galilee, the poor, low servant!
in fact his worth as oversee, insured by a crafts mans wants!
He would have been the very best.not a door he could,nt fit!
A window inside pyramidic rest.it,s sure,he had the kit!
He built thrones and simple seats?
folding furniture?and beds of bliss.
The old would feel like the elite,
while laying on this magic carpeted wish!
Every artist of all known game!
whether paint or chisel made!
Never discovered a mark from his plane!?
Who will uncover where his signatures laid?

Bio
Have you ever marveled at the maestros’ pieces?
Have you?
Composers – who capture with music
Moods which can move us…
Writers – who work with words which
Amaze and absorb us…
Craftsmen – who produce with patience
Art which astounds us…
Painters – who create on canvas and sketch with skill
Landscapes and portraits and pictures to ponder
What genius, what greatness, what treasure invested!
Have you ever considered their value?
Have you?
Is it intrinsic or is it acquired?
Determined by men because in time they’re admired
Some are uncovered, their worth discovered
The master renowned, his work has been found
But many lie buried and won’t be exhumed
Their potential lying forever entombed
Maestro and masterpiece together
Deprived of the glory
In this life’s mysterious story

My average means I don’t have to take final exams.
So my bachelor's degree is a finished product.
I cranked it out, all that’s left now is the walk (May 18th).
Let’s call it my nearly forgotten masterpiece.
My schedule says that I start a 1-year ‘master of public health’ degree in 38 days.
It was my mom’s idea. She said, “You need to keep active” (pre- med-school).
It sounds crazier to me now than it did last year, when I was accepted and agreed.
Now, I feel like some chary, aging showgirl who’s about to be hustled back on-stage.
But what’s life without massive compromise?
Anyway, don’t cry for me. I’m still sizing it all up, I’ll figure it out.
I suppose we’re all out there hustling.
It’s our response to slowing med-school admissions,
those glitches in the medical, industrial education complex
or that’s how the narrative’s shaped, anyway.
It’s not the additional work that bothers me, I’m regular worker bee,
It’s the perma-threat of loneliness.
I’m already packing. Leaving feels real
and I'm surfing this maudlin wave tonight—shading deep blue.
The simple march of time will take away friends I’ve grown to love.
We’ve allegorised and transformed one another by proximity.
I’ve really loved it here.

Once a poet is done psychically with his or her craft
With the vernacular of his or her masterpieces
It’s the role of the readers to add mentally missing pieces
Parts, ideas, images, a few words and a sophisticated shaft
To mechanize, modernize or upgrade the messages
A poem is, of course, a piece of writing in process
It’s a bubbling melting pot, where many things are amiss
For many logical or purposeful reasons and for excuses
Which are existentially beyond the scope of countless texts
Poets are generally perplexed and write under pretenses or pretexts.

" VA PENSIERO, " was one of the most
famous of Verdi's masterpieces:
the Chorus of the Hebrews slaves
lamenting for their Motherland
by the Euphrates' River...as
Nabuchadnezzar II, the tyrant,
decided their sordid fate,
to silence their indisputable faith!
Zucchero has made it widely known,
by changing the lyrics to a modern theme,
it's sumptuous melody is still the same,
connecting the bridges of past and future;
in his uTube video, the misery
of the hungry and destitute children
is clearly evoked and profoundly felt,
as mountains, oceans and cities dazzle in beauty!
The singer had the vividiest imagination,
taking along his son on his memorable jeourney,
to show him what the thought of a dreamer can accomplish,
to go beyond any unreachable boundary,
and find the purpose and motivation:
visualizing how the changes can affect everyone's freedom!
Go there with him with your ultimate wish and dream;
and what seemed impossible can finally become real!
" VA PENSIERO, " is the right and logical song
for our troubled times to persuade Presidents and Kings to do good,
so that they may alliviate, with their kindness, some
of the acute pains and correct the many injustices our world has ever known;
happily sing it with all who believe in peace and brotherhood,
shout it in every street and avenue to declare love!
Hate has reigned supreme for too long in this unfair society;
God's presence and guidance are needed for Mankind's liberty!

Epigram
They're masterpieces
woven from miracle and stardust...
a couple of decades to raise them up
just to send 'm down goblins' road...
a locket of prayers-their silky shields
facing an iron fanged society
brimming with rabid muzzled souls.
You were once trapped
in those same fiery holes
that they're blindly approaching..
and half way down the devil's throat
you've tossed them a God gilded rope..
They've crawled their way back home
a bit less stardust in the lungs
a bit more grit in the bones..
A scuffed up masterpiece
needing sable hearted refurbishing.
You're the stoic greying captain
still stout in the fist of their storms
replenishing their parched soul ponds
with unconditional love and understanding
and the swirling colors of faith divine.
Now they don shields
made of titanium scars-experience
you offer them your sextant heart
as they feed themselves
to the godless world again.

I
Some words remain prophetic through time
Giving and yielding fruit
Like Jeremiah (29:11); Ezekiel on my heart
Of wickedness that will shock even me
Unless someone heals My heart of stone
Isaiah knew too I am fearfully, wonderfully made
Like tigers or wolverines & the Tasmanian Devil
II
When God created all & more
His masterpieces came effortlessly
He did not sweat it out, willed most of it
Perhaps chose to "dirty" His fingers with Adam & Eve
That personal touch, his signature
And we use words creatively as He did
In his image, then
Declare masterfully:
LET THERE BE LIGHT
