Thanksgiving At Mamas

( THANKSGIVING AT MAMA`S )

When going to mama’s for Thanksgiving
Your mouth will water for miles away
It’s for eating and a time for forgiving
Before the meal hold hands and pray.

Hope there’s no long winded preacher
Anyone but him should say the prayer
Thank God for mama the teacher
Thanksgiving is such a festive affair.

When the food is passed don’t ask
Just pile it on your plate, it’s all good
Your mouth with turkey it will bask
Eat what you take, that’s understood.

The turkey is always golden brown
Dressing plenty inside moist and tasty
Mama’s love is what does it I found
Her ingredients have lots of modesty.

Lots of food at mama’s to go around
Family and friends to help celebrate
All kinds of good things to eat abound
With all the food it’s hard to concentrate.

Biscuits and gravy, yams and corn too
Leave room for mama’s pumpkin pie
Left over turkey will be used for stew
Filled no more room, only for a sigh.

If the talk of religion comes up
Everyone has their own view
Time for a drink pass me a cup
Mama has fresh tea she brew.

Besides only the church has it right
Everyone else will be going to hell
Hell and damnation a frightful sight
Miss church and mama we’ll tell.

So when your at mama’s for the night
Let’s all be thankful for a great meal
Ask God to bless mama it’s only right
What a good day, full is what I feel.

Mamas Fault

Mama’s Fault
Abortion and Baby Dumping

The umbilical cord you eliminated before my existence
You conceived concealed the gift from its creation
Deceived and destroyed the destiny that was given to the world
Now you asking me, what gives you sleepless night
Don’t be a hypocrite you have been swallowing your own vomit
No-wait we all are at fault because we allowed this to happen in homes and society

Sexually sensitive and spiritually sick
Why open for sexual pleasure and reject responsibility and accountability
The blood of the innocent crying from the ground-souls we have all murdered
Turning girls into holes, dumping babies, chasing pleasure that is under world delusion
Heart full of evil while lips speak love-drinking blood by killing offspring
Outward beauty while mentally incapacitated-lawlessness life, it’s the life they chose
Feeding on lies, faded in freedom, self-will in pleasure, decaying society

While government set the veil – system collapsed and still won’t acknowledge
Sick of psychologists, spiritually blind and morally corrupt-saying do thus at will
Policy is just logic, written words, practically off, wishing the problem is all in their head
Church turned in a business place, wicked theology exploiting the poor-in it for self
While evil and corruption take over the nation – God is the manager allowing evil
Hearts divorced from truth – these painted priests and pastors got real saints misunderstood
Annunciation by media, misleading the nuns, church-good girl lost in lust as love

I feel sorrow in soul, remaining breathless each day
40 babies dumped per month – I wonder how many are aborted
I know your soul is turning cold – knowing all the babies you have aborted and dumped
I know you have excuses just like any other person – no, yes I sympathize with your evil deeds
Heart concealed in subconscious of blood – mind covered by deception of unwanted babies

Premium Member Children Don'T Let Your Mamas Grow Old and Be Lonely

CHORUS:
Children, don't let your mamas grow old and be lonely,
Don't let them get sick with no one to care,
Call them and visit, spend time, be aware.
Children, don't let your mamas grow old and be lonely,
Cause she gave you the best years to raise you 'til grown,
Don't leave her feeling unloved and alone.

A mama's not perfect but she loves with all of her heart.
She teaches and nurtures, praying right from the start.
Now that you're grown don't forget all about her.
Listen to what she has to say,
Keep in touch and include her, don't leave her out,
Feeling loved will sure make her day.

CHORUS;

There'll come a time when your mama must leave this earth,
It is then that you'll realize just how much she is worth.
I hope you don't wait 'til then to appreciate her.
Embrace her now, show her your love,
Forgive and forget any perceived transgressions,
Before she is taken above.

CHORUS:
Children, don't let your mamas grow old and be lonely,
Don't le them get sick with no one to care,
Call them and visit, spend time, be aware.
Children, don't let your mamas grow old and be lonely,
Cause she gave you the best years to raise you 'til grown,
Don't leave her feeling unloved and alone.

My Mamas Prayer

Away beyond the distant mountain valleys of yore
I see my mamas face entwined in my heart evermore
Her soft and warming smile nurtures my soul
I see the beautiful lilies where the gentle stream flows

Mama, you sure had a way with loving this land
Your gentle nature steadied your loving hand
Sugar cookie dough caked upon a stained apron of blue
Lots of memories thrown into a mix of grace and prayer to

Mama had to go to heaven to help the angels sing
I hold in my trembling hand a locket, a gracious thing
Her prayers helped a wayward son live a life without pain
Oh mama, I just want to hear you pray again

Premium Member When the Mamas Come

The mamas send their best.
They don't keep the good ones home to school themselves.
It's my job to love them, take care of them, protect them.
Arm them with lifelong strategies that will help them succeed emotionally, socially, and academically.
I teach my students that name-callers are sad; bullies are angry because of what they have experienced.
I teach them strategies like the "thank you" and the "skip away" when someone calls them names.
I teach them to not give up their power by getting red, yelling screaming or acting mad.
I teach them to appreciate and love themselves, so they can love others.
I teach them to look around the play ground, and play with the friendless, so we can stop the bullying.
I love teaching the children.
They are eager to learn, and they want to try new things.
Their mothers are another story.
When the mamas come, they are loud, angry, obnoxious, defensive.
They want to correct other mama's children.
Flashing eyes, angry words.
"I've taught him to strike first," they tell me.
It's not the children.
It's the mamas who are the problem.
I'm afraid of the mamas.

Premium Member Mamas Disruptive Baking

Mama becomes a baker disrupting our day
Now we have to get dressed ourselves without pay
It is good experience she says with a teensy bit of wit.
I am not excited about it, I liked being babied a bit.

She is jiving and grooving, dancing around the kitchen.
Throwing in new ingredients – seaweed, lime and a lichen.
I like that she is happy, but this puts me into a bit of a funk.
I do not like having to get dressed and clean and that other junk.

The Mamas and the Papas

The Mamas and the Papas

MONDAY, MONDAY what a glorious day
And I feel a poem coming your way.
It’s DEDICATED TO THE ONE I LOVE
Do you know who I’m thinking of?
Well, I SAW HER AGAIN LAST NIGHT;
A CALIFORNIA DREAMING sight.
We were DANCING IN THE STREET
CREEQUE ALLEY to be complete
She said WHEN I CALL YOUR NAME
I know I must take the blame
You can GO WHERE YOU WANNA GO
But your WORDS OF LOVE still show
You can DREAM A LITTLE DREAM OF ME
But your heart will never be free

The Antics of a Would Be Mamas Yoyo Thief

The Antics Of A Would Be Mama's Yoyo Thief
(now a penchant with less Zionist trenchant ululation to vent.)

Not a peep passed thru mine -
aye vaguely attest
what ten? eleven? twelve? age
of following anecdote at best
guest, but no
doubt yours truly
with figurative heart in chest
scared puny meek boy

tight lipped silently confessed
to foiled attempt, sans trying
unsuccessfully to steal a yoyo,
     inviting tummy prepubescent
unbuttoning, a substantially
sprawling Holy skype sizing breast
of mine upon be nabbed,
thus aye didst detest

foolish kid ploy, and
(prematurely nipping
in the bud) messed
up potential life of crime
with first and only
shoplifting heist jest
for getting caught no a pest
key yoyo, mama would

     (IF FOUND OUT)
axe me no quest
chin, but whack me itty bitty
teensy weensy derriere lest
quickly putting to rest
any Robin Hood
fantasy life of
high stakes crime pressed,

and squeezed out the noggin
with apropos punishment addressed
thankfully, neither parent
got wind, nor ever guessed
their beautiful darling
     boy did test
petty theft, never
matured nor didst crest

into a profitable "yoyo
string Ponzi like
     scheme," thus ballsiest
dare devilish and bitterest,
and laughably noble lest
act yours truly ever attempted
immediately ceased to shelve bravest
sleight of hand find

delve during broad est
daylight, I immediately
didst shelve, when clumsiest
initial foray into
the world wide web
tubby come cleverest
lad, this side of
     Lansdale, Pennsylvania

     many damnedest
yesterdays ago, never
took another earnest
tempting gamble since security

head possible zapped feeblest Ames?

to pilfer from other
Department stores if pressed
for money no matter,
I might miss an enforced
hated ballet class,
     with abs salute zest!

Mamas Colors (By My Daughter Kimmy Holmes)

your love so fragile
made of glass
shatterproff
against my selfish grasp
glass now cut
cut so perfectly
gives me color
with every suns beam
Mama, your edge
is so very sharp
but I reach, protected
by your warrior heart

Love, Kim

Little Mamas

, italics , and center
I miss my little angel,
so beautiful and sweet,
so smart, yeah she's intelligent,
and she's so darn unique.

She was always singing to me,
whether 123's or abc's
or just any other song which made my heart skip a beat.

She's got a smile that lights the room
and a heart made of gold, and I call her my "Lil Mamas"
just cause she thinks she's really grown :-)

And If ever she see's you crying,
she'll be there to comfort you,
she'll give you all the hugs and kisses
and she'd make sure you're okay too.

She would make sure she'd leave you smiling
she'll say " look it'll be okay",
and she'd even wipe your tears and say
"you feel better now okay"?

There were times she mad me upset
when she'd act out or just wouldn't listen
or like any kid does nowadays, doing things without permission,

I'd yell at her than feel bad although I knew I really shouldn't
but she has a way of making you change your mood,
so being upset with her I just couldn't.

I would always spoil my babygirl
because I swear that she deserved it,
each and everyone has flaws but to me my stink is perfect.

And although she's only 4 I see a future for her so bright,
and she's everthing to me, glad to have her in my life.

My sis gave the perfect blessing when she brought her into this world,
and I swear that she's the bestest and the most adorable little girl.

I can't wait til she gets older so I can share with her the memories,
of the days when she was younger , and i would take her home with me,
I'd hold her day and night, watch her laugh and watch her play,
and I swear I'd fall more deep in love with her each and everyday.

I can't wait to teach her things, and I'll protect her from the bad,
keep her away from no good boys, and keep her happy, never sad.

I can't stand the distance between us, but it still doesn't change a thing,
I'm just missing her like crazy and can't wait to see her smile again.

I just had to sit and write this because I just had to take this time,
to tell the one that i adore that she's been heavily on my mind....

A Mamas Words Or What My Mother Told Me

A Mama’s words or
What my mother told me

Hold it in baby girl
Don’t let them see you cry
Keep it on the inside
Be strong
Do it for mama
Please don’t cry
Don’t let them see you at your weakest point
Hold yourself up
Don’t give them the satisfaction of seeing you hurt
They’re just bullies
They don’t give a damn
They just want to see you get damaged
They just want to tear you to pieces
They don’t care
So don’t let them see the tears spill from your eyes
Don’t let them see you’re not as strong as they think
Don’t let them see your walls crumble
Don’t let them in
Don’t let them get close
Hold it in baby girl
Don’t let them see you cry
Keep it on the inside
Mama’s here for you to dry your tears once they’re gone

Tolani is a trader,

So is Preye,the young woman

Reasoning,attitude, hard work,

For Mamas Everywhere

Many is the night you held me, to calm my fears.
One person who will not hurt me
Tough when it counts
Helping, healing gentle hands
Ever the cheerleader
