The Mamas and the Papas

The Mamas and the Papas

MONDAY, MONDAY what a glorious day
And I feel a poem coming your way.
It’s DEDICATED TO THE ONE I LOVE
Do you know who I’m thinking of?
Well, I SAW HER AGAIN LAST NIGHT;
A CALIFORNIA DREAMING sight.
We were DANCING IN THE STREET
CREEQUE ALLEY to be complete
She said WHEN I CALL YOUR NAME
I know I must take the blame
You can GO WHERE YOU WANNA GO
But your WORDS OF LOVE still show
You can DREAM A LITTLE DREAM OF ME
But your heart will never be free

Mike, you did an extraordinary job on this poem. As a Mamas and Papas fan, I knew immediately each song quoted. Absolutely awesome how you took all the lyrics and came up with such a touching porm. Wishing you success in Tracy's contest. Love, Carolyn
