Best Lovechild Poems
A loving child has touched my heart
with her cute smile right from the start;
I was stunned. A father - who me?
until this precious little life I did see.
She's turned my world inside out,
and has taught me what life's really all about.
How can a child carry such a force?
In her mind, she never had to coerce.
I find myself letting go more and more,
and I do not ever want to know a cure;
I see my life is now not only about me
but about this loving child - laughing with glee.
I grew up in this world not long ago
because of my daughter I do love so;
she's changed my life forever - that much I know,
and I thank God for letting me watch her grow.

Love means unconditionally to me
It never means conditionality
Never down your neighbor’s leg should you pee
Never use its rain as excuse, you see
.........
Contentious relationships will decay
Don’t just love your neighbor, love him today
Keep heart and home open consistently
To benefit most from love’s harmony
.........
Though one’s own Agape may be sloppy
No cause to pee on another’s copy
Just stay with self alone if love seems gone
Unconditionally await love’s dawn
.........
Love never dies, or a child counts the cost
When love is gone, it’s your child who is lost
Unconditionally, expeditiously
Agape returns conspicuously
.........
Prerequisites stifle heartfelt offers
Leaving you lonely with empty coffers
To know true love is our Lord’s greatest gift
Refuse to let squabbles cast hearts adrift

In a far off place, a little child cries itself to sleep again as the night before,
He doesn’t understand why his little bloated body is weak and covered with sores.
This was the life he was born into and no one here seems to really care,
While we stuff ourselves, a child is near death because we don’t take the time to open our
hearts and share.
I think there ought to be an Army that goes into these countries armed only with food,
medicine, and a whole truckload of love,
To give hope, to the hopeless! What a blessing and testimony to our Savior up above.
Our pets get fed better than these poor people do,
And it is not necessarily their fault the tribulations they are going through.
I thank God that I have never had a child of mine cry itself to sleep because there was no
food for it to eat,
It may not have always been what they wanted, but they never went hungry or had to beg
upon the streets.
I am poor, but I am blessed in more ways than I will ever know,
And everyday I thank the Lord as I watch my love for Him grow.
Unconditional is the Nature of Love
Love means unconditionally to me
It never means conditionality

Never use its rain as excuse, you see

Don’t just love your neighbor, love him today

Intertwining our words. Our thoughts lay between sheets.
Conscience climaxes ; your wisdom erupts within me.
Absorbing your awareness, I conceive your insight.
Impregnating my understanding with your brilliant mind.
Growing inside my thoughts are the visions we share.
I bare the lovechild of our poetic love affair.
Remembering when I was but a small child ~
These recurring nightmares that I would often have
The boogeyman, always trying to get to myself....
He would be in the back yard during the darkened night
Standing at the window his shadow wanting in
I would be alone, frightened and unable to scream
Many times he would come amid, the dead of my sleep!?
And he always did seem, so very real unto me
Five, maybe six; sensitive to the other realm this, spirit world....
Sometimes during those years of my innocent youth ~
I would see ghost appear; visions, entities suddenly?!
Apperceptions of specters or phantoms; apparitions
Deja vu was often at the drop of a hat for me....
Many small tales could be told in regards unto those years
One in particular to what I believe was that of a daemon
In retrospect, given certain current events, another piece of glass perhaps!?
Whether I was like other children of those years, I never knew
Although I have heard that the undefiled, cluttered and or tainted
Mind of a child can be very perceptive; again, unto the other realms....

I dreamed one night not long ago Jesus knelt beside my bed - I could tell He had been
crying - His eyes were very red - He said "My child I know sometimes you really don't feel
loved - But I'm here to remind you why I left My throne above - I did it all for you My child -
I didn't hesitate - Even though I bore much pain My love for you was great - If you had been
the only one living on the earth - I still would have died for you - That's how much you're
worth - Can I tell you something - I didn't want to die - I even asked the Father to let the cup
pass by - But I submitted to God's will because I love you so - I hold you firmly in My hand -
I'll never let you go.

A lasting love, learned and kept.

Love?
What is love?
How does love work?
Why would love ever hurt?
As a child love is your mom.
As a child nothing is wrong.
An older love...to a younger love,
One to fall in love with a number isn't right.
When u find that love you should hold on tight.
Love is wrong love is never right...
No one wants u to have love,
You need to learn to fight!
Fight for your love...
Fight for your rights...
Fight for that one warm moment at night...
Love him hold him tell him its OK...
Keep him rid him of his pain...
Love is fragile as a flower...
You shall learn that it welts through the hours...
Hold it love it make it yours...
But when your done make sure you run for love is doomed to be powerful forevermore...

Such a sc-ar-ab,
This pro-ver-ub,
Made to be seen,
A child not heard,
Watch a child at play,
Listen to what they say,
T’s the good book’s discern,
By which we learn,
The faith we say,
If mind doth sway,
In flesh we pay,
For what we say,
As time doth align,
Against the mind,
And it surely will,
As time fulfilled,
Better to leave mouth shut,
Even if burst a gut,
Better to be thought dumb,
As the lamb,
Than to open mouth,
Removing all doubt,
Out of the mouth of babes,
Grows perfect praise,
In wisdom’s ways,
Love’s power okays,
As wisdom pays,
In simple ways,
As simple child,
Grows out of wild,
Complexity of wilderness mind,
By simple child defined,
Doth not align,
Simple love’s kind,
For how can a machine, so complicated,
By power so simple, be operated,
God is simple power,
The complication in what he made,
Doth not swayed,
Simple power that made,
At the hub of every wheel,
Lain the power of will,
Love doth not spoil, nor spill,
A simple child at the wheel,
May we all clutch,
As such!!

Dedicated to "Leanne Christian", a worthy young
fellow Poet, of our Poetry Soup family!!!
I looked at her and she looked fine
Until she turned to the side.
Something strange about that girl
She was shorter than she was wide.
She held her hands below her waist
And pulled up once in a while.
Then she rubbed it down again
Giving her face a little smile.
"Do you feel that?", she would say
As she put my hand on her tummy.
The movement kind of startled me
So I didn't feel very "chummy".
"He's kicking again, and it's all your fault
YOU DID THIS TO ME!"
Then I would remind her of that night
When she wanted to be free.
"It takes two to tango." , I said to her
"You didn't seem to mind it then."
"But I never expected this consequence
When we acted as lovers not friends".
It's been almost nine months now
What is there to say?
We're not having a kitty or puppy
But a baby is on the way.
I'm sure we'll love the bundle of joy
That has been ordained for us.
With priceless smiles and goo goo talk
And grandparents who'll coo and fuss.
For a child always comes by way of love
Not only through passion's route.
But when he's born our lives will change
Of that, I have no doubt.
"So Lord, give us the grace
To raise our child with encouragement and love,
That he will grow in strength and wisdom
That can only come from above."
People ask Why?
Why Should we pray
Why???..
If God has everything planned
There is no point then
But God Has His Divine Reasons
As We can See..
God wants us.. His Children.. to come to Him
Show Him.. how much We Love Him
For He Loves Us
God Has His Divine Reasons
Just like You.. Love Your child
You want Your child..
to come to You.. Right?
Show You their Love..
Don't You?
Or to have Your child to Ask.. You
And Not be afraid to ask you anything
If ever your child was in need..
Wouldn't You want Your Child to?
Wouldn't You also..
Want to hear Your child say
"I Love You "
Out of Your Love.. for Your child..
Wouldn't You.. want to give Your Child
The very Best..
Even when things do happen... for many reasons
To our Children.. tis can be bad or good
But.. You have your reasons..
but tis beyond their understanding
But tis always for the Best of Your Child
You have Your Human Reasons
Tis the Same..
God Wants to give Us.. Out of His Love
His Very Best
Even when things do happen.. For many reasons
To us all.. God's Children tis can be Bad or good
God has His Reasons..
But beyond our understanding
tis always for our best God's Children
God Has His Divine Reasons
When was the Last time
You prayed..
said to Our Father of Lights
I Love You!!!
For God is Love..
He wants Us to Love Him
For He Loved Us First
Come Show Your Love
Come to Jesus in Prayer
Talk to Our Father of Lights
Fellowship with Him
For God Has His Reasons
Don't You?
All tis for Our Best
To bring Us.. God's Children.. Closer unto Him
Come to Jesus

What a terrible life
The woman sits down and breaks down
She cries
Tears drop
The sun shines
She wakes up
She goes to work
She goes out with men
One after another
All she wants is another child
One after another
Her miscarriage was too much to bear
She thinks to herself I never had a child of my own
Why couldn’t I have a child of my own
Blank stares
The child
She goes out
Puts her lipstick on
A brave face
She goes out looking for a mate
A silent tear
Goes as she enters the room
The man with her
All she wants is another child
