Premium Member As I Look At the Sky

(Hourglass poem)

I look at the sky and see clouds
Blush and cover sun as they flood
And light grows small as they go by
I watch them as they cross the sky

I see clouds change into weird shapes
Sometimes the sky is a blue grape
But there are times when it turns gray
And that's when the sun fades away

Looking at the sky is quite nice
I'd love to watch it more than twice
As they glow in the night so bright
And count stars in the sky at night

And count stars in the sky at night
As they glow in the night so bright
I'd love to watch it more than twice
Looking at the sky is quite nice

And that's when the sun fades away
But there are times when it turns gray
Sometimes the sky is a blue grape
I see clouds change into weird shapes

I watch them as they cross the sky
And light grows small as they go by
Blush and cover sun as they flood
I look at the sky and see clouds!

Isn'T Light Blue the Throat Chakra?

melodic open
blue throat chakra overflow
soft and kind words of

too much wisdom from
lil child of a few short years
prophetic and calm

sweet lines of peace stay
on her lips both night and day
giggly bluebird speak

Journey Across the Sea

Castle Heartstone sank into the mists of magic
The Princess of Magic, spell cast
For one day,
we shall return
When Faeries can play
When The Wise Ways,
will always last..

Our enemies will never have..
What lies in our hearts
Wonderful things
Magic, love
The colour of the seasons
What it brings..

Masts creaked,
sails held strong
A fair wind
for the Heartstone throng

The Four Kings,
having command of the ships
The Princes,
the navigators
for they encircled the world in wind
Queens, for strength
Princesses, for love and laughter
Faeries for, joy

An ocean , so blue
Its' light reflected in the Heartstone
Brilliant fire,
felt in the hearts of many too

The night, so clear
You could touch a star
The Faeries brought one to light the way
For, Faeries can, at play
Illuminate their hearts,
to all those they hold dear

Such a Tapestry of Stars
Only a Faerie could weave
For, they left the world
Such hearts , grieve

Soon, the land disappeared from view
Masts creaked
Sails held strong
A sense of something new...

The Castle was gone...
Disappeared by the Princess of Magic
Its' beauty not to be despoiled
by those they had foiled

Hidden in the mists of Magic
Castle Heartstone, lost in our memories
such thoughts detected
on an ocean , so blue
in its' light
feelings reflected

A King , cannot stop the sea
Storms blew
The ships held fast,
for such things never last

Beautiful treasures were not left behind
The Heartstone
The Tapestries
The Book of the Wise Ways
Seeds from the Whispering Trees
Water from the Stream of Sighs
The memories you can find,
for you are not alone

The Eagles of Heartstone,
came too
Upon golden wings, they flew
High up, above
The ocean , so blue

The Swords of the Knights,
were brought too
Faerie magic, sometimes not enough,
to stop an enemies bluff

The ships were filled with song
The beginning of the end..
The end of the beginning..
Hope and love,
in the hearts of this happy throng

Days filled with golden sun,
a little rain too
Upon oceans of blue

Each day
The king of air launched the Eagles
They soared high,
to find the land
that was meant...
For, magic cannot die

Light Blue Snowflake

a calm blue snowflake
white all over on the land
how lovely to see!

Light Blue Addiction

The world relies on speed
Everybody is in a hurry to get things done
Until the moment two souls meet
And time stops so two halves can become one
Looking attentively in your eyes, I saw the sun
Two pair of sparkling blue pearls because of sunlight
Floating and drowning, neither the sky or the sea could have won
I found myself in the middle of the universe and it was bright
Beautiful and breath taking like a summer day might
In a matter of seconds you had pulled me in
Mysterious and addicting were these emotions under night-sight
A landscape eager to be explored was your soft skin
Not thinking rationally is what it means to be in your presence
The core of your being as a woman, yes, I lost to your essence

Life

As I sit I watch as I watch I listen I try and wonder what this life means the trees dance as
there branches sway with the music of the wind moves through them and whispers a tune of
undiscovered secrets
The sun shines as it sends rays of light down to touch every thing with a kiss of warmth
The sky so blue like the depths of the ocean is scattered with clouds pulling a light gray
blanket over the world but as the shadows convoy and the sun says good bye the darkness
creeps over and every thing changes the grass so green like the colour jade now turns dark
emerald the leaves whip over the ground like tears shed from the trees water falls from
above and covers every thing with a gleaming sparkle like diamonds the birds above with
the music of the wind beneath there wings giving them a life of there own as the majestic
eagle sores and dives you cant help but watch as nature takes it Corse the predator dives
again into the sea and fly’s away victories with his pray so helpless is the fish to struggle
with the eagle with the waves beating against the shore I walk in to the suns rays again they
touch my face with a kiss of warmth chasing the shadows away the grass once more jade
green the ocean reflecting the sky blue like a mirror with the sand between my toes my path
clear for the moment of pain and unknown so as I travel I once more listen and I take the
winds advice I go with the music of life down my path and disappear with the wind my spirit
souring

Night Light/Row the Tide

Night light,
burning in the quiet.
Night light,
stirring in the silence.
My light,
you might be an answer to the shade,
guiding with your rays from far away.

Night light,
flicker as the wind goes by.
Night light,
dimmer by the passing time.
My light,
your luminous shine reminds our hearts,
that there can be light even in dark.

Night light,
glowing to the very last.
Night light,
slowing, you turn to ash.
My light,
I will never forget what you've done,
a million lights now brighter then the sun,
-then the sun,
are spreading out their light to everyone.

Row, row, row with the tide,
over and under, side to side,
sway with the waves and hang on tight,
oh, all in the blue of your eyes.

Row, row, row with the tide,
rush in, rush out, recede, rise,
land in the sand, my my, what a ride,
oh, all in the blue of your eyes.

Row, Row, Row with the tide,
sink or swim everyone must decide,
fish in the sea must flee for their lives,
oh, all in the blue of your eyes.

Row, Row, Row with the tide,
would you befriend me, would you be mine?
We could see our journey unwind,
We could live happily for all time,
oh, everything I need I can find,
-right in the blue of your eyes.

The Blue Plant

The Blue Plant
In a clearing in the woods there is a blue plant
that is illuminated from the inside and shines
long after dark, but if you stop and stare its
four petals curl, that light is switched off and
it looks another way; this because it lives in
fear of being recognized by a passing botanist
and classified as a minor little weed not worth
bothering about.

As I'm only a sailor who lost his sextant and
ended up in a wrong vale and not Singapore
which was my intention, I have its confidence
So I asked: "what if the botanist finds you
the most beautiful flower he has ever seen,
then you will be famous, poets will go all
tearful and lyrical about you and you'll appear
in illustrated books."

The blue flower's light flickered on and off it
was clearly in distress petals in a flutter and
shakily it said: "I fear fame it's an awesome
responsibility I have to shine and shine always
look my best and there is no turning away when
things get tough and they will ask me about
stuff I know nothing about and critics will ask
"is blue the only colour you have got"

My Brother and I

I could write a poem that no one could tell was for you,
As no one knows about when
We used to walk on the light grey rolling curbs,
On the black gravel streets with the quilt of sidewalks alongside.
The moon and only one star was out to glance down at
What we were partaking in.
The feeble attempt at comedy,
With our swinging of long splintered two- by-fours.
They resembled our youth that was filled
With images of gleaming daggers dancing through the air,
And the crackling of light sabers in the movies.

Down in the basement,
White ceiling tiles above us,
And our old blue rug with bunches of red flowers.
Our favorite object in the entire house,
A ping-pong table in the traditional green color,
On top of a mahogany pool table with blue felt.

Oh, how the hours wasted away when we would play.
Chores, Bed times, homework, nothing
Seemed relevant as we caressed the ball back and forth
To each other in a manner of different strokes,
Each as fluid and quick as the last.

Red on one side, black on the other,
Cheap cedar wood extends out from the foam
To form my single weapon in this game.
We had a dream of always moving it outside,
The wind and the trees could swirl our hair around as we
Cinch our eyes tight on the ball as it returns to our side of the table.
But we could never haul it through the tiny glass door,
And so our dream was crushed.
So it shall remain,
In our basement,
With all the other lockers and T.V.s,
The one thing that connect my brother and me the most,
Our ping-pong table.

Light Blue Rose

This
Rose
Of Blue.
A touch of
The impossible
Is attained by the lover.
What was once thought could not be done, was implausible
Is attained by passion and fervency which lay dormant and inactive in the heart, this light blue rose.

Hypoglycaemia and the Blue Light

Dull as a pool of mud
Grey and stale in their attention
Seeking out the diamond in the rough
Shining a benevolent get well soon
Shine a blue light, shine it big and bold
Fearless, fall upon me in thick reaching blue
Shine a light upon me; I am coming in to land

Wave the semaphore signals, you siren
Shine a light, they have come ashore
The landed gentry, dressed in red as deep as blood
Foreign faces carrying the quirks of Gypsy caravans
They shift a deep gaze, bars behind bars of eyes upon eyes
Stare, silence all save for deep drawn breaths, I faint
Edging closer and beaming eyes, hands and mouths

Thick as a whitewash, a flood of red coated flames of blue
Shining down upon my pretty little veins, they
Collapse under the pressure, a frontier
Surrounding, tongues a wave of Verbal Ocean
Flicking left, right, up, down, washing shame in saliva
As I gather my marionette arms and legs
Demanding under spotlight, Puppet Master, take me back

Gaggles of giggling salt towers, stood as tall as infinity
For all the salt in the sea, what I would give for a handful
Of sugar coated faces, embarking closer as I rise, up, up, up
The blue light dimming then dooming, hypomania tinged
With a slight touch, a full face punch of hypoglycaemia
A kick to the teeth as my body gets heavier, heavier
Breaking under the weight, I am coming in to ground

"shade of Blue"

Being the color blue is not always sad..
I can cover the city sky with the sun in the middle,
and thats not so bad..
My light shade of blue opens a beautiful spring day..
A darker shade is sprayed with little stars that take
your breath away..
My light shade is the ocean covering your feet..
A darker shade is the moonlight hittng the water
for a warm evening treat..
So my color blue has always gotten a bad rap...
So rest assure I will color it light blue as my sky will cover you as you
lay for a afternoon nap...

Summoning the Light

The mortal restrain
the blood tripping from my eyes
the blue skin
not yet fully grown fetus

Before her stands a wraith of me
her not knowing whats going on
i talk but she cant hear me
she turns away moving into the light

im standing in the darkness
she turns and holds out her hand
the time when darkness met the light
the power i felt light coming upon me

I turn away and let go of her hand
i cant move away from the darkness
it swallows me whole
she disapears before my eyes

The light is gone and im all alone
i cry blood not tears
im naked wrapped in one black cloth
it covers my stomach

i take the clothing off
my stomach falls open
the fetus blue and bloody
falling out laying on the ground
i walk away an image appears before me

it of a accident a car laying on the ground below a hill
i see myself reaching for her hand but they take her away
they leave me here dead with my fetus

I know now that i cant be saved
i close my eyes and return to the dark
i see her above me in a white gown
she shines like the sun and has wings that sparkle
like glitter i daze off never to wake again.

Brexit Sonnet 3 - Light Blue Touch Paper

Brexit Sonnet No.3
‘Light Blue Touch Paper’

So who can tell me what is wrong or right,
Who can channel thoughts along the track?
Dare I stare at mainstream media light,
Or risk fake jokers from social media pack?
A binary Cameron gave us choice for life,
An In or Out, a Remain or Leave to choose.
Campaigns misleading, cheating lies were rife;
In truth, I believe he thought he couldn’t lose.
But now I find a new voice rising high.
A grandee from the past has now reprised
Tarzan’s ‘Oh my darling’ shrieking cry;
To set his stall against Brexit’s blatant lies.
Powerful and not expected, this light blue voice.
Light blue, a touch paper, from age o’ little choice.
