I wish that sky had a pit
To throw my wishes in a bottom soundless.
And only two and lonely stars
To guard night and day
With the glory of their light,
Through time's trail,
Through sunset's deepest red.
I wish that sky had a voice
To call my name when i forget it
Between my triumph and my defeat,
Between death and resurrection.
I'd put a coin on the sky's big machine
To play the music i love
Loud for the world to hear
And leave behind the echo of a dream
That i once owned.

LOOKING TO THE SKY IN THE DAYTIME CLOUDS SAIL BY
BIRDS FLYING, SINGING SONGS, IN TREE TOPS HIGH
LISTENING TO THE SOUNDS OF BIRDS AND BEES
QUITE A LOT OF ACTION HIGH UP IN THE TREES
AEROPLANES MARK AS THEY FLY THROUGH THE CLOUDS
CUTTING THEM UP, INTO PATTERNED SHROUDS
THE WAKE OF THE AEROPLANE LEAVING A GROOVE
FACES APPEAR IN THE CLOUDS AS THEY MOVE
AT NIGHT THE MOON SHINES OWLS HOOT IN THE DARK
AS THEY HUNT THEIR PREY LIKE A FLYING SHARK
SEE A FALLING STAR MAKE A WISH WHILE YOU CAN
CONSELLATIONS THAT LOOK LIKE A GIANT PLAN
MAPS IN THE SKY SHOWING TRAVELLERS THEIR WAY
NON OF THESE ARE VISIBLE DURING THE DAY
LOOKING TO THE SKY FOR INSPIRATION AND HOPE
THE SKY IS EVEN BIGGER SEEN THROUGH A TELESCOPE
THE WONDERS OF THE UNIVERSE UP ABOVE SO HIGH
MAKES YOU WONDER HOW IT IS AND THE REASON WHY
As I searched the darkened sky
For the glowing moon
Found nothing, but returned back to my seat
While I searched for desires and thoughts
Found nothing, but the thoughts of taken glory
As I looked through the window at the starless sky
Trying to ought a star to make a wish on
But there shined none…
I rested on the passenger’s seat, with all thoughts disabled
They say hope for better things to come and put your faith on
But I already tried all roads; Returned for all lost battles
That leaves me to cry, because I want to
As I held my tears from sobering chills to come
I just held them, kept them from exuding down my skin
As they already fell on my soul
I held them to avoid someone from asking; what’s wrong?
I gave up on people a long while ago
I don’t care if they don’t give a damn
Cause no one really cares, they all pretend
As I walked in firm confidence
But it was nothing but an act
And I asked for nothing but a true friend
Life…
I pondered the word over and over again
Is not easy as it seems
Life…
I thought of all its diversions, all its wrong turns
Is not as fair, not as strong, not as beautiful
As it really looks like
sometimes i want to take the bus, earlier in the morning, ride and see where i end up. I
would see so many faces. Old, young, ugly, beautiful and all that comes in between. I
would laugh at the old mans jokes and i would flirt with the young boys.
And when the day gets to an end and the sky goes black with dusk. I would get off at some
random spot in the middle of nowhere and run far into the tall green, green grass. I would
run till i couldn't run no more ; till my lunges burn and my legs turn to rubber. And i
would sink into the sea of turning grass and stare up into the endless sky and breath in
the smells of the world, the rush of the cars. And in those few moments i would have lived
for years and have known so much.
If only i get on this bus...
Asked many A Times was I
Why do I spend my times with Thyself
Why Do I not Understand The Purpose
Of Being Myself
Laughed Loud I ,Never had a Reply
Just Gazed at the stars looked above the sky
People so strange , Think only in a range
A Glass half full is looked yet drained
News I watch , Only to Learn about Pain,
Insanity shown is through what many gain
Yet I feel it to be Insane, to see many dying in vain
Tried understanding the purpose of my soul
Deceived by myself was I, when learnt I was so cold,
Could not connect to thee, I tried many a times to be free
Lost, yet not alone, I realized I was not on my own
Gazed up in the sky to be free, I wished a sky ,where I could be my own, a place, if wings
had I , could’ve flown.
Looking at the fleshy mass on my soul, I ask,
Is our purpose truly not told?
Are we all so odd and cold?
Why in a womb I spend 9 months and come out in a Life full of misery and pain?
When I am unsure about life
Then what is it, what we gain?
When only a normal, just survives and strives.
I ask
what is life?

Pretend not, that the sky is blue
And all is well within the world
For it is not, the sky is hazed
With the injustice of suffering
Many children endure nights
Never to see the sun of days
As they eek out an existence
In the shadows of forbearers
As food becomes desired
So, too, does a thirst for love
For they not know love, nor
Can they recognize it if had
So, pretend not, that the sky is blue
Look into the sky, not covering your eyes
Witness not only the obvious
But recognize the truth behind the light

Most unusual clouds this morning
They look like dreadlocks turned
Gray with streaks of red and pink
Certainly a sky blue sky where
There are no clouds
I see this as beauty but no one
Told me it is beautiful so who is
Observing this scene through my
Eyes saying this is beauty
There is an order to everything
Flowers have certain number
Of petals with leaves arranged
The human eye sees the order
The eye says this is beauty
Who made these so that they see
The ball of sun is showing
Radiating it's glow on the scene
Seen only through the trees
That are silhouetted but not
Totally black just dark
Outlines with sun peeking
Roosters greet the day
With their cock-a-doodle-do
How are you?
Responsiblility calls
Thank you for this time
To commune with God
