Wishes To the Sky

I wish that sky had a pit
To throw my wishes in a bottom soundless.
And only two and lonely stars
To guard night and day
With the glory of their light,
Through time's trail,
Through sunset's deepest red.
I wish that sky had a voice
To call my name when i forget it
Between my triumph and my defeat,
Between death and resurrection.
I'd put a coin on the sky's big machine
To play the music i love
Loud for the world to hear
And leave behind the echo of a dream
That i once owned.
